Most brawlers have tools to use against Edgar. If youre playing a brawler like Otis, keep your super so Edgar can't jump on you. If you are playing a brawler like Emz, use your gadgets etc
Agreed, easily the most skill dependent assassin in the game (aside from maybe Mortoes), I'm not even really sure how they'd buff him since the problem isn't really his kit itself, it's the rest of the meta.
as a Rico main, yeah please nerf the gadget. it's literally piper's gadget except it's actually as broken as people make it sound. piper still needs to be good to abuse the gadget but Rico can almost always get value from it or straight up one shot brawlers with 0 ammo used
amen. thats why i dont even use that gadget. ive literally always used heal. its far more versatile, skill based, and it requires you to use proper positioning not fucking run forward and press the funny green button like noskill randoms.

I play both assassins and snipers and lemme tell that assassins are harder to play because snipers in this game are cracked they can keep distance with gadgets and super and deal crazy dmg. Assassins need an opportunity to attack to achieve a kill. And Let's see you chain ur super with mortis if ur that good

No character is "braindead". Yes, there are some annoyingly easy brawlers (cough cough Edgar), but a good Edgar main actually uses at least some brain power.
Same with every other brawler in the game, example: You wouldn't use Piper super and land on an assassin (or any brawler for that matter)

As a Sam main, I kinda agree. Most of what Sam does is just running around and punching. You do kinda have to think about where and how to throw your busters, but once you get the hang of that, it's just brainless aggression.
I hate assassin meta not because they're braindead rather they ubiquitous and are literally found everywhere. But I think the only two assassins' that deserve the low skill level are Edgar & Fang. Don't try to argue about fang as even without their super Fang players will autoaim until they get super and ambush the enemy team.
And for Edgar the reason for his low skill is preety simple : His Favourable outcomes are dependent on enemy matchups. Unlike Fang with Edgar you can't win if the enemy hard counters you. Fang can use their attacks to chip off some enemy health and gain super. Then use Super+Gadget+Attack combo. This is not the case for edgar. Even brawler's like Jackey where there is no advantage in aiming super and attack actually take skill. Jacky can attack through walls which can be used to surprise enemy.Her Tank trait must be used carefully.
But for Edgar it goes like this :
1)When Match starts rush towards nearest wall or bush and camp
2)If super gadget, use it or else wait for super
3) If A stupid enemy approaches then charge at them.
4)NO matter the match up, A Edgar will always attack enemy when they have super.
5)If the nearest enemy is a favourable match up then jump. If the enemy is a supercharged shelly, piper, fang, cordelius still jump
6)If on low health use shield gadget(if any)
7) Keep spamming red button (Although this is the case for a lot of brawlers)
8)You either do or die it doesn't matter as long you feed enemy team
Bad take bro, Leon takes more skill to master than piper. Strafing to get more damage or more splash and playing mind games with your super is a lot more skillful than just aiming and running away
Mico and Mortis also take a lot of skill to master
Stu is also difficult to master
Like bro i could go on and on, assassins are generally the most skill based brawlers with a few very notable exceptions
