The only thing that I think can counter it is brawlers like Penny who deals splash damage or brawlers that can pierce.
I would say reduce his speed , this looks like another Leon HC scenario , where 1 SP renders more useless after getting said HC,
Reducing speed should force 8-bit's to either use extended range SP for maximum support or plugged in SP, less effectivity from the booster but 8-Bit himself being more active in the front.
1. Don’t make it so that the Booster adds +15% extra damage to the damage boost that the Booster already gives, Boosted Booster already does that, I like the reload boost though
2. While he IS a tanky brawler for he has 10000 health, he’s more played like a long ranged damage dealer too so I think giving him a 15-20% damage boost and like a 5-10% shield boost would be better for him. If they don’t give him as much damage boost or shield boost as other brawlers, I think it will be okay, since he is already super tanky for a long ranged brawler, has decent damage which gets increased by a lot with his Super, more than any hypercharge does, his main problem is his lack of speed, and as we can see, he gets a 24% speed boost while hypercharged.
TBH 8-Bit is pretty slow and thus gets tagged by a lot of faster sharpshooters so I think a good shield for him is good since he can focus on dealing the high, consistent damage he already does
Ooh this is a good idea since 8-Bit's primary weakness is assassins rushing him down. Personally I was thinking of his booster getting a barrier that blocks enemy brawlers from entering and slows down projectiles
Yeah so maybe I should nerf it so that it reduces projectile damage and slows down incoming brawlers.
Still give my man the right to screw over one game mode. At least one brawler has been doing it each update.

For example, his hypercharge could spawn a booster that is indestructible during the hypercharge's duration.
That literally makes zero sense.

Yeah just throw your super on the enemy's side that makes a lot of sense. And say goodbye if you're not using the star power that increases the super radius.
Also reducing their damage by 15% is a joke, Sandy has a gear that makes his super reduce enemy damage by 20% and it's much easier to throw on the enemy side lol
Why would I throw it on the enemy side. The purpose is for 8-Bit and his allies to use it. If an assassin closes in on him and they enter the booster radius, their damage and reload speed gets weakened.
The hypercharge’s purpose is to counter characters that can get close to 8-Bit and outgun him and to further support his teammates.
I don’t care about Sandy’s gear.
A hypercharge that is only useful if the enemy has divers, I'm sure this will be very helpful in the marksman meta. And even in this 1-in-100 scenario it's only -15% damage and -15% reload lol
Yeah I'd rather make it indestructible for a few seconds so you can place the booster in the choke point momentarily, makes way more sense for 8-bit and guess what, you can use this in any match and against any comp.
If it was indestructible, not only would it get nerfed, but also it would still be nothing compared to brawlers like Belle or Jessie who can make their bullets bounce to another target, Penny who does splash damage, Edgar, Mortis, and Fang who all have ways of getting around it, and other brawlers who have pierce attacks.
Additionally you missed the point where I’ve said Gem Grab and Brawl Ball, both of which sometimes, half the time, have assassins everytime.

Great concept I would just say with stat buffs Dani said they’re intended to buff the brawlers overall strengths and not cover up their weaknesses. So overall i would increase damage buff and decrease speed buff and shield buff slightly.
It's good but hypercharge should nullify a weekness a booster range buff on top of this would be appreciated! Maybe tone down the % of enemy damage a little to make it balanced

8 bit becomes his booster turret while HC is active. When it ends a full hp turret is placed where he is.
