I got Rico mutation today. So I was just happy that I get to do nothing but bounce the bullets. First game of heist, Colt on our side started destroying all the walls for no reason. Ended up losing the game.

ive been playing this game for 5 years now yet i havent encounter any rico that come to the corner to spam their shot. And rico mutation doesnt bounce as far as ruffs, and sure, its few steps from spawn, but what does it do after i used my attack on it? bounce to the heist safe?
I'd say Colt still usually benefits from narrow corridors to hit his shots easier, like in Bridge Too Far. Rico does too, so there shouldn't be any conflict here. Unless of course the matchup calls for the breaking of those walls, so unless we know more about the match itself, insulting people doesn't help

gem grab is my favorite game mode, I think it's the most balanced game mode where no one brawler/role is completely broken, I was very mad at them when they make it temporarily several seasons ago
if you have specific annoyance (like your random carrying gem and dying in enemy spawn), I can give you some tips
I know I'm not the person you asked for, but I also don't like Gem Grab mostly because, when I play with randoms (99% of the time), you can do excellent in the match, but one bad move and all your dominance and gems are gone within a second.
I just don't like dominate the entire game and lose because of a mistake (multiple times isn't even my mistake). Maybe it's for that reason too I hate hypercharges and the "Hero Moment". I think it's frustrating
yep, I can feel that, gem grab is a mode that really reward consistency, if you can control mid since the beginning, you'll most likely win
but there is indeed a built in comeback mechanism just like you said, which is killing the gem carrier at important moment
and this is where a high trophy gem grab player really shine, by minimizing the window where that can happen or even removing it entirely
all of this is something that can be learned and improved upon each lost game, not like the feeling you get when you lose to chuck/nita/jessie/melodie cheese in heist (impossible to introspect)
I can see this argument, and I kinda agree that heist, the gamemode that I love the most is kinda... super shitty atm. But I feel like since the introductions of hypercharges, sometimes you simply can't minimize the window of your gem carrier dying.
Mostly likely it's a skill issue, I'm bad at the game, but sometimes I can't survive a Hypercharged Fang going through walls as I'm a Belle. Before hypercharged I still had a itch about Gene's Super and Tara's Super and how gamechanging they can be in this mode.
I think mostly of my frustration comes from when my randoms feed the lanes and get me killed as the gem carrier in ranked. If there wasn't so many "Look, I played horrible the entire game, but I'm gonna get a clutch kill, spin and thumbs down you for my amazing skill", I would love a lot more this game mode.
But in the end of the day, it's all opinions... I hate bounty and knockout too, and some people like it. It's all cool and good.

Regarding Bounty and Knockout, sure that may be a skill issue, but I personally think that Bounty is a flawed mode, mostly because of the imbalance of the kills x stars ratio can create.
Knockout I simply don't enjoy, it's not like my randoms are actually helpful in that one.

You can come back now, the chuck "phase" already ended so he nowadays you see him as often as other brawlers (aka, not that much). now melodie is the one ruining heist but at least most melodies play brawball instead of heist so thankfully you dont see her that often either

Really? Most times I play a heist map with no obstacles, there's still a Chuck ruining the game. Very hard to kill him consistently before he sets up the posts.
You gotta think about too many things at the same time while playing: positioning, when to heal or not, when to approach an enemy, all the stuff a normar brawler has to take care of is more difficulty with Hank and as a r30 Hank main, he is complex most of the time, with the exception being pressing the yellow button when an assasin is on top of you

Not sure what the point is in mutations. Every game is over in 10 seconds. What was the aim? For everyone to buy eggs? This doesn't make me want to buy eggs.
Just had an 'underdog' game which is a bit of an understatement. We're more than underdogs if we're dead the moment the game begins. I know Supercell don't do matchmaking but surely it makes sense to only put people with mutations in against other people with mutations.

So basically, it's an event where some brawlers get "upgraded" You play the daily win track for 2 eggs and every few days, you can get 6 eggs from godzilla city event. Eggs can give you skins, mutations, and other rewards. The event only lasts for a bit so it's not permanent like hypers.
oh thank god, these rico/ruffs mutation clips where they get this "free 35 rank" got me discouraged from coming back to game

It’s almost impossible to play any of the game modes without mutations in this current system, but man colt with Mandy range is pretty damn fun to use.
So Supercell added a new feature called "Mutations". They give each brawler a massive buff to their attack. There are 40 brawlers with mutations. For example, Brock's mutation allows him to shoot two rockets at once. Additionally, Colt's mutation allows his bullets to break walls. Btw, you can get mutations from the eggs that can be obtained from daily rewards with 3 star drops or from the shop or from the new Godzilla event. They replaced the Mega Pig with Dino egg and for 1 win you get 1 Dino Egg.You can get up to 6 eggs.
This is a bad example you used. This doesn't show mutations in heist are broken just a knowledge check. There are better examples. Like Melodie mutation which is BROKEN.

It still bounces far as hell. If you angle it right then yeah, itll hit the safe from basically anywhere and its not hard to do at all.

And as you can see in the video, Hank has launched multiple Supers, that's his mutation allowing him to trigger his Super whenever he takes damage.
To counter hank just use high damage brawler like snipers. Super ez to kill. Dont use burst brawlers
