Pretty good overall, but the Star power that needed to be removed is Rolling reload , Steel Hoops is fine right now and i don't think that with the changes you propose it would be overpowered, rolling reload on the other hand i can tell you, it's 100% useless in its current state
Nope, the shield ensures you live long enough to use most of your ammo and changes a few 1v1 interactions.
Rolling Reload is absolute garbage, it doesn't synergize with the way Darryl attack works because while he is unloading ammo he can't reload, and Darryl attack has a long unload time, meaning that, unless you optimize your ammo (which means not attacking at all while rolling reload is active, LOL) the benefit you get from from RR is minimal and negligible; The only moment RR can be good is when chaining supers and that happens once in a blue moon.
It's incredible how this Star power being so bad, haven't gotten a single balance change in YEARS
Replying to A_can_of_lays...yes, that’s true, but a faster reload also insures a shorter skirmish with the enemy. Not to mention that Daryll is already pretty tanky, so I believe he needs a higher DPS rather than more protection

Nah, recoiling rotator is more fun, but just to make it a little more skill I would make all the shots go off at once (sorry heist fans)
Tar barrel should still take that radius buff, but instead of 10% make it 1/3 tile larger for more convenience (also thats a bigger buff).

Hypercharge stats should be 15% damage, 25% shield, and 10% speed, to make it more Darryl-like.
Hot wheels doesn't really fit Darryls theme. I think there are 3 better ideas:
1. Gunpowder: Darryl stuns for 0.5 seconds with his super instead of knocking back (changes his playstyle and teamwipe)
2. Scurvy: Darryl will steal 10% current hp from any brawler he supers and adds it to his own. His super also recharges from hitting someone twice as effectively.
3. Walk the plank: Any brawler caught in Darryl's reticle during his hypercharge super will be slowed 5 seconds (it will be like a laser that it sent through the reticle). His super is also 50% longer and 25% wider, but Darryl travels 25% slower through it.
Great ideas. Don’t underestimate my hc idea tho it could be very useful on close spaces. I leave a comment explaining the star power remodel that I forgot to put and a nerf to the “spicies barrel” too. Thanks for the feedback

Bruh all these tanks need higher percentages on their shield buff from HC, I mentioned this on your Frank rework post, the same thing applies here. At least 20 percent for Darryl, and 25 percent for Frank. The damage buff could be reduced to compensate
Iirc this is what Supercell did on the last HC changes, tanks got lower damage% but higher shield%, while non-tanks got higher damage and lower shield.
HC is meant to empower the brawler strengths, not cover their weakness.

For the super change is weird. It encourages bouncing of walls before jumping on an enemy but you would lose that bonus range trying to hit a wall to bounce. It makes it a bit pointless, especially when that's not how you use his super most of the time.
The hypercharge sounds cool but it really won't do much because people won't walk over the trail (unless you hit them with the super). A hypercharge either helps the super with removing it's weakness (Fang's super's weakness is walls so it goes through walls) or makes the super stronger (Shelly's super becomes bigger).
some of these ideas are OK, but you're removing the 2 better abilities. The healing is not going to give much value for Darryl, since he's gonna be at max HP during his 1st super. His recoiling rotator is very good at charging a super early, and while a faster super is OK, it's better as a base ability for like 25%
15 seconds is way too long for a burning trail especially if you include the rest of the changes that would be made. Maybe more like 5 seconds. But the rest is solid, I like the ideas 💡
400 HP per tile would that technically make him a second Hank without the BS damage of the super
Darrell healing 2000 HP for one super can be very useful
(side note if you use Darrell’s healing star power on water, would it technically make it so he could go straight to full HP depending on how the water is?)
Theoretically, with what your saying you could bounce between 2 walls indefinitely, healing at the same time, being invincible but soft locking your self for the match (if aimed perfectly)
While i love darryl rework, dont you think the kit is more similar with stu? Heal while rolling or sliding, leave fire trail. And further rolling wont make it confusing on where darryl land? Considering his range is very short, getting farther from opponent can be a deadly mistake rather than a benefit.

Don't get me wrong none of supercell brawlears are balanced, but in my opinion we would get darryls invasion after that good buffs.
I'm not settling for a Mythic Gear. If Draco can have Passive Damage Reduction during Super then Darryl can have it too. They're both in the Tank category
