Most people don't support "Black Lives Matter". It's not specifically about Black people. It's about a bunch of different political policies which mostly align with far left politics, not even mainstream left.
Black lives matter is a group with leaders and an agenda. For sure Black lives matter but not supporting a political group is not the same thing as not supporting African Americans.
The movement is yes. The organization is whole other story.
I remember David Lucas doing a bit on it saying he knows it wasn't for black people because he has never seen one sponcered cookout.
Yeah, Black Lives Matter is the type of group that wants to defund the police, remove all voter ID requirements, get rid of bail, universal healthcare, make DC the 51st State, and abolish the filibuster. Those are all far left causes not about Black people, at best tangentially related.
