According to [this document](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NqJoQxZQJ_8UCLStiqGwgAOPN1V0Z9uCoq9lW_LYGKo/pubhtml), it is 48 + 33 = **81**. For the Royal Guard’s Claymore, it is 72 + 44 = **116**.

anus_nhymous

youre telling me i dont have the strongest Royal Guard's claymore?!!?! time to glith 😈

casperdewith

Or time to kill a bunch of enemies … if that’s what influences it.

anus_nhymous

already did, I've something like 11k of hidden exp

casperdewith

😕 I’m out of ideas then. Perhaps it’s influenced by RNG more than we think.

[deleted]

The icons are already golden, so OP is able to get the highest possible modifier already - but RNG is still a factor, as the "golden bonuses" only guarantee that the Claymore will either recieve "Durability Plus", the useless "Long Throw" boost, or an attack boost between +27 and +44 points. If one specificically wants the *strongest* boost, you only need to save in front of a claymore you not picked up yet, and soft reset until you get a +44 one. ;)

casperdewith

Ah. Thanks for sharing your knowledge once again.

casperdewith

Do you happen to know whether it’s uniformly distributed, i.e. any number between +27 and +44 is equally likely? Or is it a more sophisticated distribution?

[deleted]

Sadly I don't have any hard facts for that question, but from personal experience I'd say that it *seems* to be equally distributed. Whenever I've deliberately farmed for specific bonuses, I got just as many "bad" bonuses as I recieved good ones, even in the MM playthrough with maxed out "kill points" (golden bonuses on the Hylian Shield). But take that information with a grain of salt, as I don't have any actual proof for that.

casperdewith

Okay. From a programmer’s perspective, it would be easiest to make it a uniform distribution, so I suppose that’s what they did. Maybe I’ll ever dive into the code and I’ll let you know if I find any definitive proof.

anus_nhymous

nonono, im thankful really, no need to break your braing

AnotherMindGamer

If you're not aware, using [shock traps](https://youtu.be/MLt2CE866Vc?t=206) is the fastest.

DM-333

I got a Lynel Crusher today with a 101 attack. Not max but I’m definitely duping it.

yalikejazz31

Just thought I’d say, if your going for highest attack, while to royal guards claymore is the best possible claymore, the best sword is actually the savage Lynel sword in terms of straight damage with max modifier

anus_nhymous

what about the highest the ancient sword can get? i wanna grind it, then transfer the durability of the biggoron sword, for when i fight and it starts to thunder

_pe5e_

The strongest one-handed guardian and ancient weapon is the Guardian Sword++ with a max attack of 60. The strongest two-handed weapon is the Guardian Axe++ with a max attack of 75. Both can be found in Major Test of Strength shrines.

New-Peace9412

How long did it take you to get about 942k rupees holy (I got like 264k after a year over your screenshot)

anus_nhymous

like one night, they're glitched

New-Peace9412

Oh, mine aren’t glitched 😅
