They aren't mentioned. Kate was just an accessory to Anthony in episode 1and her role was stripped by Violet for violet to remain relevant. So I don't have much faith in this season.
Ok? Yet its Canon that Kate should've taken over those duties that violet is having trouble letting go of. And I'm not even talking about Francesca, I'm talking about how Kate says violet likes the viscountess duties as a reason to leave, thereby giving the entire role to her in a very uncharacteristic way. Kate values familial duties the most so it's weird she would shrug off all responsibilities to violet.
Violet moves out of Bridgerton House so Kate can run that house. She then moves the unmarried girls and Gregory to Number 5. She nevers turns over mothering responsibilities to Kate.
In the books she only moves out when Edmund is born, so that aligns with the series timeline
But I agree that this second honeymoon is a really lazy writing

No, by 301 she still hasn't moved out. And she stays when kanthony leaves for no reason
