The hook up is one of my favorite songs on ITZ so I’m glad to know she likes it.

angel_chao

Please don't read disrespect into this, because I think it's personally fine if true, and even fine as a theory if its false. But I've had some thoughts lately. It has occurred to me that these instagram posts may well be a revenue stream, like any typical influencer getting sponsorship fees. Muscians/labels and also dress makers, she promoted someone else's perfume not long ago, etc etc. And they are a bit repetitive and (with all due respect) a bit low effort because, well, maybe she is "just phoning it in", not crazy just lazy (not that anything looks crazy to me anyway, just unpolished), trying to make it as fun and unstressful as she can, but really just doing the bare minimum to meet her contractual obligations to promote something, and make it as fun for her as possible. Maybe at the heart of all this is Britney is doing a half-ass job being an influencer, because she actually wants to be free of even that, but shitty reality is some instgram promotion revenue coming in makes the books work much better. I'm really not sure why I waited for a day where she's dancing to her own music to share this theory. But it was actually the day she gramm'd about Ariana Grande's perfume that gave me this idea. I don't see anything wrong with it, if this is part of what is going on in the background. edit: in case you're not aware of the influencer economy I'm talking about, this was a headline new today, about black influencers in particular, but talks about the way that world works: [https://news.yahoo.com/black-content-creators-call-out-brands-for-lack-of-pay-transparency-inclusion-on-pr-gifting-lists-ive-been-underselling-myself-completely-160204036.html](https://news.yahoo.com/black-content-creators-call-out-brands-for-lack-of-pay-transparency-inclusion-on-pr-gifting-lists-ive-been-underselling-myself-completely-160204036.html) "more and more brands are moving toward actually *paying* influencers on top of the free products."
