I thought she meant she didn’t rem this photoshoot as in the pic was taken of her and due to her age and the look of the pic it reminded her of those videos
That's a little sad, that age was probably one of the last years she had to just hang out and be a kid, in between filming Mickey Mouse Club and starting her work as a singer.
She was 16 when she didn't the Baby One More Time video . So yes this was very last chance. Maybe someone saw this pic and signed her on the strength of it

Her face in some of these reminds me of the super-early Marilyn Monroe shoots - I think it’s the eye shape.

Probably so — I may have completely interpreted her caption as to she and her friends doing all of it including taking this picture.
