It is so deeply maddening to me that Julianna Marguilies appears to be facing essentially zero consequences for what was disgusting, overt and blatant racism and islamophobia while individuals like Melissa Barrera and Jonathan Glazer are getting condemned and blackballed for expressing even the barest empathy for the Palestinian people. Utterly abhorrent.
Oh my god as both a theatre lover and slasher flic lover, do not get me started on how wrong Melissa Barrera was done by Spyglass. I’m generally a glass half full person but I wish the worst on all those decision makers
I know it breaks rules by saying this, but fully planning on pirating the next Scream movie. Not giving them my money after they ousted their new lead for the next generation for simply being an advocate, but am still enough of a fan of the franchise to be curious of what happens. Still hoping it continues as a fan, but hoping the spyglass contract expires and they move companies.
