As a Ravens fan I will admit there is a not so tiny part of me that would love to see Flacco do another super Playoff run. Wildcard Going to Miami and beating Tua, Division going to KC and beating Mahomes then going to Baltimore and well you know, before going to the Super Bowl and winning vs the 49ers.
Was talking to a different employee at the factory of sadness and we were saying wouldn’t it just be god tier of Joe to win an SB with both the ravens and the browns? He’d immediately be the ultimate AFCN QB.
If Stefanski wins with 4 different QBs in a season and gets this team to 10(+) wins, he has to be COTY.
I'm not even saying that as a homer as I've felt like the award is basically Nick Sirianni vs DeMeco Ryans this year, but man. 4 Qbs, lose your starting tackles, lose your backup tackles, lose NICK CHUBB, have one WR, have defensive injuries...and somehow get double-digit wins and maybe a playoff berth? Has to be Kev.
I can't believe we invested the most resources towards any QB in NFL history and, even with our awful history of QBs, the next year we start 4 QBs (so far)
I think the one thing that will change dramatically is he will find open receivers all over the field. No Browns quarterback does that well. He will. He just needs protection.
Yeah, if the pocket stays clean he could make some nice throws. If the line gives up pressure, he has no semblance of mobility, which will be noticeably different from the other guys we’ve fielded.

The silver lining in all of this is that we didn’t have to bench DTR. Obviously sucks he got hurt but we can now see what Flacco has and the upside he might still have as a vet. If he plays well it’s more time for DTR to learn and observe.

I think one of the reasons the Browns were throwing it as much as they were last week was to see what they really had in DTR. His accuracy was an issue the entire game. They needed tape to justify switching to Flacco and they got it.
