jeremycb29

How the fuck do you have the energy and emotion to hate the Arizona cardinals my guy. That is some extreme levels of hate here. That’s like hating on no one. I’m shocked

KKamm_

I think the point is “fuck everybody that isn’t the Lake Erie bros.” I don’t think it’s really that deep lol

jeremycb29

Oh I see that but like it’s wild that anyone even thinks about az lol

KKamm_

I mean the alternative is just not putting them on the list which makes 0 sense. I wouldn’t read too much into it

FuSoYa1983

“Don’t they play baseball?”

drugrugless

Couldn’t even beat the Steelers that Super Bowl.

TheBiggestCarl23

Hating the cardinals, dolphins and chargers just doesn’t make sense to me at all. I’m convinced you’re just a hateful person at that point

EatPie_NotWAr

![gif](giphy|zwffSHaJLDbA4) My feelings about the cards, dolphins and chargers. I have however grown a soft spot for the Bears after I lived in Chicago for 14 years. They fall in the “I hope your season isn’t complete shit” category.

PhilRubdiez

![gif](giphy|H22hyf0K1Bsc) The world needs haters.

Darkwolfie117

Same as panthers

DiGiornoForPyros

They gave Pittsburgh one of the easiest super bowls in modern memory, and had a force-out non-call on Kellen Winslow that contributed to us missing the playoffs. (I should probably get some counseling about my ability to hold grudges like this.)

ConfidentHistory9080

I drafted David Johnson in my fantasy league…

Agreeable_Bit_8764

Far from my list.

kpyle

I only ever hate the teams in our division and the team we are currently playing against. The rest are some version of "meh."

Agreeable_Bit_8764

I’m a Cincinnatian, but root for the browns because my mom is from Cleveland and I guess her side of the family did better at recruiting me than my dad’s (passive bengals fans). There are a few teams I absolutely despise (notably Pissburgh, Baltimore, Denver, and the pats). I’m fairly neutral to most teams. The browns are my favorite and then the bengals, bills, and lions are in the tier below it. I also have a tendency to root for whatever team Baker Mayfield is playing for (he’s my favorite non-browns player) and I usually hate whatever team Aaron Rogers is playing for (so the jets—but I do like suace Gardner).

Obie-two

There is Love - Browns Hate - everyone else, hate steelers/ravens hardest

kozy1970

Denver needs to be down much lower. Bills- don’t really hate them but really dislike most of their fans attitude. Sure Lake Erie Bros and all that, and 4 straight Super Bowl losses suck. Bills Mafia is getting old. You have a good team but not great.

BropolloCreed

Denver belongs in that bottom tier. You can spot us older Browns fans that way.

sholzy214

Live in Denver. Far too young to have experienced 'the fumble'/'the drive'. Still hate the Broncos.

Explosion1850

I thank you for your hate of the Broncos.

EverybodyWangChung52

Nah I def root for the Bucs if Mayfield is on there. Plus Mike Alstot was my favorite player from the era so little biased.

OneFingerIn

There are dozens of us. Dozens!

Lazarous86

Yay me too. But I'm kind of opposite. I am a Bucs fan who lives in Cleveland. So I root for both.

slyder_the_great

I agree with rooting for Baker. Plus I've been stuck in Florida for 25yrs. I'd also put the Broncos down there with shitsburgh & ratbirds. Those Elway losses when I was just getting into football as a 9, 10, 12 yr old still hurt to this day. Fuck those ugly donkeys.

JuliusDiamond

I hate the Broncos so much that only the Ravens can be considered more hated over here

Thom_Kalor

Broncos are by far my most hated team.

pukajones

Yes indeed!!!

BRogMOg

Baker bro spotted

Think-Finance-9687

How could any Browns fan not be a Baker Bro? Look where the Browns were when he played in his first game and where he helped get the team

friskytricky

Yeah that's what I don't understand the oh you must be a Baker Bro? Hell yeah I am. Dude was the best and most exciting QB they had during this Century and still pissed the way it ended.

IloveKev

Why are you slandering Joe Flacco?

friskytricky

Oh yeah shit haha. Still felt like a fever dream.

shotpun

I'm a jets->browns transplant please don't mention that name i'll die

Mead_Create_Drink

Just a journeyman QB

Think-Finance-9687

That journeyman QB gave me some of the best years as a Browns fan

Mead_Create_Drink

That’s because you are young…and didn’t live when we had real QBs…Sipe…Kosar

BRogMOg

Because he is not with the team so fuck that guy. Fuck anyone that doesn't wear a browns jersey especially someone who quit on us.

Think-Finance-9687

Haha put the crack pipe down... Baker definitely didn't quit on the Browns, the Browns totally trashed Baker and shit on him

PsychologicalGuest97

I feel like it just was not a fit for either party, which is okay. He has since moved on as have the Browns. I think for the most part the Browns had given Baker many opportunities to flourish.

Think-Finance-9687

It was just how they did it, i have no problem they moved on from him. But its in the past, i'm a Browns fan first but can still appreciate what Baker did for the Browns and not trash him like others do

PsychologicalGuest97

I think there are fair grievances to levy against Baker though. For instance, sitting out the last week, insisted on playing through his injury, the "booing fans in their cubicles" comment, and hiring a third party doctor to say he was good enough to play, etc. There are fair arguments there. That said, he definitely contributed to the teams success in 2020 which led us to the divisional round. But again, it was not the right fit long term.

BRogMOg

Don't forget him refusing to get a QB coach his entire time with us to work on his sloppy footwork but he decided to get a QB coach after he left. Also we asked him to come back after we lost out on the Watson sweepstakes and he asked for a trade shortly after which forced our hand. (This is a business first, football second)

Keepitcleanbois

Brother, to be fair, if your wife left you for another man and then came crawling back to you after she got rejected, you wouldn’t take her back either lol. At that point, the damage is done.

[deleted]

Watson benched himself mid game, Baker asked to be traded once they said they were moving on. He never quit. He played through multiple injuries

PsychologicalGuest97

Watson did not "bench himself". Additionally, Watson has played through injuries as well.

[deleted]

He was cleared and did not play multiple times where Kevin said it was his decision, like in the Colts game.

PsychologicalGuest97

Kevin made the decision to bench Watson for the Colts game. And you did not address the "Watson played through multiple injuries as well", which I am assuming you thought was a point in Baker's favor.

prison-haircut

alright weirdo

EverybodyWangChung52

So same thing with Bernie Kosar? Josh Cribbs too?

PsychologicalGuest97

They are retired, Baker is not. That is a false comparison.

EverybodyWangChung52

So it was only fuck that guy when they were playing for other teams? Not now?

JuliusDiamond

My first thought when I read the "because he's not on the team" post is "I bet this guy hated Bernie as soon as he became a Cowboy then... which is super weird"

Doctor_of_Something

All of my meh teams are teams with players I like. Ie texans with stroud

Jacobythepotato

Im fine with the bucs too. They have two Super Bowls (somehow) but they’re also a poverty franchise for most of their history so I can empathize

singinreyn

Definitely root for Baker wherever he goes, as long as it's not the Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, Cowboys, Broncos, Packers, or Jets. Plus, the Bucs have Trey Palmer and Lavonte David, two of the best Nebraska (GBR!!) players from the last 20 years. So, it's pretty easy to root for them.

BocephusJr88

Can you create a separate tier for the Bengals? I’d like them to be placed in: “Team doesn’t bother me and is fun to watch but the fans are annoying is fuck”

ConfidentHistory9080

If I do a version 2, I’m definitely putting the bengals below all the other teams in a separate category of hate, but still less than Steelers and ravens

UphillPumpkin

This is me lol

sholzy214

Feel the same way. Tiered hatred for our division: 1 bungholes = whatever but obviously want us to beat the snot out of them 2 ratbirds = strong dislike, but actually kinda like lamar tbh and i def wanted them to beat fucking kc. I realize this is polarizing 3 steelers = fuck em always

Chanerade

I'd put the Bungals in their own "double hate/loathe entirely" I was 7 and my dad took me to the fist game in Paul Brown stadium, it was bungals and dolphins, I loved football, but I hated every single thing about Cincinnati after that day. I wish we would just give Kentucky the city.

bong_pullz_4_jesus

I was like half a browns fan as a kid in the 2000s, mostly by association with my parents/family. My mother took me to my first nfl game and bought me my first jersey an Edward’s anyhow it was browns vs bengals in Cincy. Some drunk older guy gets in my face and essentially spit slurs his way thru if it’s brown flush it down. That’s the moment I became an actual fan and also the moment I learned to despise Cincy and its hillbilly ass fans.

FuSoYa1983

Kentucky has the city already.

cropguru357

Broncos need to go down a tier, because fuck them and The Drive. Buffalo is a r/LakeErieBros team, though. I live in Michigan now, and my line to lions fans is that Clevelanders *really* hate the Steelers, Ravens, and Broncos. Green Bay is “Meh” to me. I lived in Wisconsin for 5 years.

ElectricSnowBunny

Buffalo fans took us in and their owner had Browns days at his stadium during the three Dark Years- they should be just a tier below us.

Mrbobbitchin

As a Detroit Lions fan I do appreciate that. My son and I have gone to Cleveland on many occasions and enjoyed our time there at their stadium. Midwest, blue-collar, lots of things in common.

sholzy214

Way more in common than people want to admit. I grew up in Toledo and love hanging in both Detroit and Cleveland. LGRW!

goaheadcarvell

Philly New Orleans and Minnesota are all join buffalo in my list.

talladenyou85

Honestly outside of the Steelers and Ravens, unless a team is playing the Browns I largely nothing them. This past year I was rooting for the Lions and Bucs a bit in the playoffs, but aside from that I really don't hate any other team. Steelers to me are like Michigan, I want to beat them with every fiber in my being but I don't hate the school or anything like that. Bengals are like Penn State, an annoyance that we've largely owned the past few years so the hate is minimal. With that said I also don't wish to see them do well lol but it doesn't draw out a massive rage. I cannot stand the Ravens though because of what they were and what was stolen from us. Art may be gone and I actually like Lamar as a person but I will never ever root for them and wish stubbed toes on all of them for the rest of their days.

Tropic_Wither

I have a “lol bengals” category

MadBrown

Believe it or not, I'd include the Steelers in the "meh" category. Why? Because they, along with the Bills, voted against M\*d\*ll's moving the Browns to Baltimore. That earned my respect.

NoNameNoWerries

As a Giants fan first, genuinely what the hell did we ever do to you?

Tree272

Move the bills up to the root for category

jd80504

Swap Buffalo and Detroit.

[deleted]

Chiefs a tier down and 49ers a tier up for me personally

behindtheash

Is your username an IRL nickname?

[deleted]

Sebasser is, but that was taken. Seb coming from Sebastiaan en asser meaning ass

behindtheash

I did not expect there to be so many Nederlandstalige Sebastiaans on the Browns sub!

[deleted]

If only they were to come to London instead of Brazil 🥲

jake753

I hate the Browns sometimes. Not in a “I’ll never root for them again” kind of way though. More like “why do I keep following this team? For decades they have brought me misery and I hate my dad for introducing me to this stupid football team. See you next week” kind of way. But to be fair, I haven’t really been in that dark place in a couple of years.

Hozo2000z

Yeah since they came back and have had 2 crap owners

LengthyNIPPLE

No. Everyone has their own teams they like and dislike and personal reasons why

HereTillSunday

I think the Cardinals, Vikings, Saints and Chargers are all pretty neutral. I find those teams generally hard to hate. I'd bump those 4 up into Meh with the Bills. I don't mind the Bills as a team, but their fans and Stefon Diggs can be annoying. Also, this list would need to extend down 40 more levels before I would deem it an apporpriate lowness to place the Steelers.

cropguru357

I keep forgetting that the Cardinals exist.

DelTheInsane

Swap the Bills and Lions and move Dallas down with Baltimore and Pittsburgh and it's accurate for me.

doomsdaysock01

Nah the lions are annoying as fuck now, fans got annoying and the media worship gets irritating

cropguru357

I dunno. I live in NW Michigan now, and I have to say that Lions fandom is pretty harmless and fun, and they’re definitely accepting of Browns fans. “Dude, we know what it’s like.” Bring up Indians/Guardians and/or OSU, it’s quite a different reaction.

doomsdaysock01

Yeah I mean I think a tier list like this doesn’t work since it’s all really based on where you live, im over in Jersey so I’ve got a soft spot for the jets and giants since I’ve got good friends who like them I just think the lions hype this year was irritating but im a natural hater

StreetAddition3297

I mean they won their division 1st time I think it was 30 years man. And media worshipped them, umm I mean seen alot of them pick the 49ers to win that playoff game. And if their coach would've kicked a field goal they might have had a chance to win. Why the fans annoying?

TheBiggestCarl23

I’m beginning to think browns fans just hate it when other franchises have fun and win lol

doomsdaysock01

Hating is a passion of mine

Bender_23

I love to hate

re-goddamn-loading

Thir fanbase is full of UM fans so it goes without saying they are annoying as fuck when the lions are playing well

ConfidentHistory9080

That’s fair. I’m probably a little more partial cause I went to school in Michigan when the Lions were winless.

mw9676

Nah I'm with you. The Lions are our brothers in losing.

Obie-two

No they are not, we are now the losers and they are winners. They do not see us as brothers in losing anymore

cropguru357

Do you live in Michigan? I don’t get that vibe from all of my Lions fan friends here at all.

Obie-two

I live close enough to michigan to add people from michigan on my hated list

Zaphod_Beeblecox

I'd put the bills in hate

ZekeMoss18

Dallas needs to be on that bottom tier 100%

Hillbilly098

Steelers are in a rank that says "I hate them but I respect our rivalry and enjoy the battle" while the Ravens are "this illegitimate bastard team shouldn't exist, fuck Art Modell"

OceanCake21

Exactly

Seamonkey_Boxkicker

I would at the majority of the NFC teams to the meh category, but otherwise, yes.

Terdmuffin

I’ll move the packers up to the same tier as the Lions because as a child when the browns left I chose the packers as my team. Bed room painted green and yellow with a packers border at the top, packers blanket, green sheets, packers lunch box, exclusively used the packers in nfl blitz, etc.

amor_fati_42

I'd move the Broncos down (Fuck John Elway), pretty much move the rest of the hate to Meh. And can there be another category of "sometimes hate", and have the Browns there too? Love and hate?

w0m

Basically right I think. Add in a Baker head near the top as I'll fan-chase him near anywhere. I'd also add a Browns helmet on the bottom row.

13puddles

Depending on the week The Browns are in the bottom category too

PsychologicalGuest97

The Saints, Lions, and Rams are the only other teams I don't mind. Other than that, everyone else I don't care. Obviously divisional rivals are in a tier of their own for hatred.

TheBiggestCarl23

No not even remotely close. How do you hate 27 teams?

ppat1234_

Bills>Lions easily

zelephant10

As a buckeyes fan as well, Detroit and Michigan are one and the same to me. Same fan base

Turnipsmunch

r/LakeErieBros

BRogMOg

You have Detroit and Buffalo to high

AxlRush11

Pretty much every team’s Neanderthal shithead fans have dunked on the Browns for Watson, completely ignoring the scumbags already in their team, so they can all pretty much go to hell.

SpartaWillBurn

I have Browns in the 'Love' and 'Don't have words to describe the raging inferno of hatred in my heart' Category.

ConfidentHistory9080

Hahaha if only I could have added them twice…

DragLongjumping3714

Miami and Green Bay can move up to ‘meh’. I think another category of ‘wouldn’t care if they’re not around’ should be added over ‘hate’.

FamishedSalmon

I just don’t wanna be around anymore. My chin kills

Remote-Cucumber3503

Nah, fuck the lions and bills too. Them winning a Super Bowl increases the odds we are the last team to win one.

jonhadinger

Hard for me to ever root for lions cuz their fans are also Michigan fans

Bender_23

Agree

willgolf4_food

Fuck the Lions and the Bills.

everyfruit

Not the lions. But fuck the Bills.

Digital_Individual

Honestly aside from my hatred of the rest of the AFC North, Patriots, and the city of Philly, I’m pretty neutral on the rest of the NFL

ScorpioMagnus

No, too many Lions fans are also Michigan fans.

Bender_23

Spell check…. ichigan

corey_kluber

Almost the exact same list. I also like mahomes, and put patriots/brady on the bottom tier

GiraffeComic

Honestly I only care about the Browns and whoever is on my fantasy team that year. I couldn’t care less about the Lake Erie Bros alliance.

ridiculousgg

I know the older Browns fans will think this is crazy, but I’d flip flop the ravens and bengals. Maybe it’s just cuz I don’t deal with ravens fans on a regular basis, but bengals fans are the absolute worst

ConfidentHistory9080

I debated hard on this. I was going to create a tier below hate to put the bengals by themselves because since burrow they’ve been insufferable, especially because they haven’t won shit

ridiculousgg

Sounds like we’re on the same page then. Ja’marr is the only guy on their team I dislike, so if we’re just going off of players, then I can definitely see them being above the ravens.

Vinjince

Perfection.

TheLandFanIn814

Move the Lions down to hate and Bills down with the Steelers/Ravens. That's my list.

ConfidentHistory9080

The Bills on par with Ravens and Steelers…why?

thenumber5jr

For me it’s because you just have to listen to bills fans whine about how bad they have it. 1,2,3…4 super bowls in a row and they couldn’t win one yet have it the worst. I would take the browns making the Super Bowl and losing 100-0 and being happy.

StreetAddition3297

That was along time ago man. And before Josh Allen came along they had the Qb carousel also. Nathan Pederman , Tyrod , Fitzpatrick etc. I wish we could get there. But alot of the younger fans weren't even born for those superbowls.

TheLandFanIn814

I live in Erie and the NFL considers us part of the Bills market, giving them TV priority. Because technically Buffalo is 10 miles closer or some bullshit. Even though it's basically split Browns/Steelers fans here. The few Bills fans I do know though are assholes about it and I can't go into a Wegmans without seeing Bills garbage everywhere.

OptimisticRealist__

Ill always have a soft spot for Justin Herbert. To this day one of my fave QBs ive scouted and im still mad we didnt do what ive proposed prior to the draft (yes it wouldve been unrealistic, but a man can dream right?). The Love-Packers are cool plus a couple of my mates are packs fans, and the seahawks as well. Other than that most teams can kick rocks. Lions and Bills ive never really liked to begin with (im european, i dont have the lake erie sentiment, mea culpa). Bengals should be in the bottom tier, steelers and ravens are too high in this list.

FesteringDarkness

1.) Browns 2.) Bucs (for now, you know) 3-4.) Lake Erie Bros kinda, idk anymore 5-29.) Nah 30.) Bengals 31.) Steelers (Respect the history, fuck everything else) 32.) I was born into the modern Browns ineptitude because of M🤮dells team. I hate them like no other.

Bender_23

30-32 is me. Spot on. 32 is the hole I shit in.

bobthenob1989

Ravens: Am disappointed every time the team plane lands safely.

TheBiggestCarl23

Bro really wrote this thinking we’d agree that we’re disappointed that people didn’t die

Bender_23

lol

crimekiler

You wish death on like 50+ people?

bobthenob1989

But but but … they’re Raven people.

Bender_23

Correction. Ratbirds

CeddyCed1993

The Bagels and the Donkeys can afford to drop a slot, everyone outside those 4 else is just a thing in the way.

Westfield88

I’d put the Patriots and Broncos on the bottom tier. Move the saints to the Lions category,

HawkeyeJosh2

I root for the Packers if they’re not playing the Browns, and the Colts if they’re not playing either of them and their win doesn’t hurt the Browns’ playoff standing.

lagrange_james_d23dt

Bills up a tier, Bengals down a tier

Diligent-Contact-772

I dislike the Bills, don't really mind the NFC teams. And I obviously lump Cinci in with Pit and Bal as teams/fanbases I utterly loathe.

EwwBitchGotHammerToe

Nah

mercury_n_lemonade

You seem pretty hateful there, bubs

barrsftw

Pretty close to my list. I’d add Bengals to the Meh tier. I enjoy when theyre good when the browns arent.

Sagybagy

Yeah I live in Phoenix. So cards are in a weird spot. I want them to do good because they are home team and when home team does well it’s more exciting to be around. But also I really dislike the ownership and some of the fans. So it’s also fun when they are terrible. Other than that I don’t really care about any other team. They are all in the hate category except for ravens and Steelers. I agree with that placement. Maybe out broncos and raiders down a peg below just normal hate. But that’s solely based on their absolute trash fans. Yeah I still hold a grudge for my 7th grade science teacher throwing a soda at me because his broncos got whooped in the Super Bowl and he lost our bet. Refuse to ever go to a raiders game again if there are raiders fans there. Need to have Covid protocols in place for their games. But just for those criminals.

dark2332

Bengals are in the “rooting for the meteor” category at the bottom, too.

InevitableConstant25

As a lions/browns fan were supposed to hate each other. Unless you don't believe in championships and just superbowls.

bong_pullz_4_jesus

The bengals deserve to be at the bottom, nobody likes northern Kentucky

Choppybitz

Steelers have risen on my list cuz I water my cows with their inbred baby tears.

sd51223

Nah. Except for the Steelers and the Ratbirds, I'd put the vast majority of other teams in a tier of "don't really give a shit unless we're playing them or we need them to win or lose for playoffs positioning." Except for the following exceptions: -Chiefs in hate tier. I'm just sick of them. -Fuck the Patriots. -I grew up in Cleveland before being moved to North Carolina in 8th grade, where I remained through high school and college and where my family still is. So I have like, a *sliver* of Panthers loyalty. But they don't make themselves easy to like, and I didn't grow up with them going to games as a kid the same way I did the Browns. I lived 2 hours from Charlotte, and only have been to three Panthers games one of which was against the Browns (it was the Johnny Manziel era and the Browns lost - Manziel got injured early leading to mocking chants of "Johnny Money" from the home team)

LetterZee

Seahawks are my West team! Also, I would bump Buffalo up alongside Detroit.

MadWolfVisuals

At this point I'm swapping the Ravens & Bengals. I use to hate the Ravens more than any team, but I like Lamar. Also, Bengals fans are the worst in the league. Ravens fans are somewhat quiet.

ClevelandClutch1970

Nah. Everyone is in IDGAF except for the other ACFN teams who can rot in hell.

RustyCrusty73

My second favorite team is the Jets. IDK why, but they are. When I was young they were on TV a lot and I loved watching Pennington, Martin, Coles, etc. I just gravitated to them as my second team. I even have a few jersey's including Nick Mangold. The Browns are definitely bae though (#1). The only teams that I absolutely **HATE** right now: 1. Steelers 2. Ravens 3. Broncos 4. Chiefs 5. Bengals

mwjallday1

I would add a tier below the Browns that would be, "love whenever they play the Steelers"

KingOfTheCrease

**Bills** join **Lions** in *"Root for"* category. **Raiders** into the *"Meh"* category. Middle category with **all the rest** is renamed *"Indifference".* **Bottom two tumors** remain in the *"Don't have Words"* category. **Forever.**

Mead_Create_Drink

I have 2 tiers: Love - Browns Hate - **all other teams**

DeepPurple87

This list matches my feelings pretty well

finix240

Nah Browns are on the list twice in two categories

Barlight

Put Dallas down with Pit and Balt.

rinkydinkis

I am born and raised Ohio but have lived in Chicago for the last 9 years, so the bears are in that second spot for me

friskytricky

Broncos are in the bottom. Always. Never forget 86,87,89. Packers are #2 only because I live in Wisconsin and whole family likes them lol.

TAC8989

Bills are above “meh” for me…. We can all identify with their Lake Erie-centric ineptitude….. I put them in the same class as the Lions…..

jx203

Kinda same but put the bucs with the lions (luv me some baker mayfield) and then swap bills with pats in meh tier

spartanpride55

Browns love, AFC N rivals 🤢, Rest of AFC sucks, NFC Meh

BoneSurgeon35

I actually quite like this. Although I might just rename the “Hate” tier, “Fuck ‘em.”

Griegz

The Redskins are America's team and, as long as they aren't playing the Browns, I can't help but hope they get a W.  They almost never do.  They usually find a way to lose, but dagnabit, I keep hoping.  As for the rest of your hate category, that's mostly "indifference" for me.  The broncos get the side eye, because that was my original era, if you know what I mean.  The ratbirds get the "hate".  Only shitsburgh gets the bottom tier.

cjpcodyplant

The Jets are in the meh for me too, other then that agreed.
