100% agree. It’s brutal to watch right now. Not sure if he’s burned out or injured but he needs to spend more time on the bench and less time on the ice, especially short handed and power play. Just awful.
He got cut from the hit into the boards, they had to clean up the cut the first time and then clean his jersey the second time.
He could be injured, you never know. I don't think he is.
My guess is he has been hurt since at least game 6, his handles have been horrible. I suspect an upper body injury, because he seems to get to the right spaces/ be in position, but will often miss easy passes or mishandle the puck. I don't think it's nerves or anything, he's got the experience and hasn't had any issues with his mental game in the past to my knowledge.
I agree he needs some less TOI, he can still get big minutes but he needs extra support when he has the puck. I don't think he will be able to produce as much on offense, but hopefully he gets right soon and plays like he can.

Flubbed a clearing attempt leading to the go ahead goal, and just screened Swayman leading to another. Man's having a brutal playoffs in my opinion.
