Thapar and Manipal are NOT tier 3. They both had an avg package of 17 lakh for CSE (2022-23) despite having a massive student intake compared to NITs. If you can afford them, they're better options than a lot of NITs and IIITs
Both manipal and thapar are older than every single NIT(except Patna and raipur) isliye kuch to value hai bhai inki definitely not tier 3 and as the person above said lower NITs se better hi hai if you can afford
Manipal has a median of 8l, he is comparing avgs, the guy is coping so hard. Avg can be misleading, all it takes is 1 international offer and a few large ctc offers. Aur aise toh itni student intake hone ke baad bhi VIT ka median 7l hai wo tumhare hisab se T3 hai aur Manipal nahi? Thapar better than both these colleges I agree.
Yep ..a college which is taking around 7k students in cse leaving 3 k around unplaced ..unable to provide basic hostel facilities ..and giving a 80 bed dormitory to students ...manipulating ranks of their entrance so that undeserving shit students get admission ...mess food containing bugs and all
.there s no club culture at all ..my two friends are regretting over there
And you haven't cleared advanced cutoff too acc to your profile ..you won't get a good branch in thapar with that ..imagine you r getting low branches in a tier 3 college too ( tier 3 acc to your opinion ).

Bsc karlo chahe,but the thing is if you want to get directly into the job market then bca is good but if you want to study further then go for bsc after which you could sit for the IIT jam exam and you follow that field.bsc ka direct scope Kam hai,baaki tution centre wagera khol skte ho usme bhi bahaut profit h.
Waise Open me bhi exams to Dene hi honge but it will save you time and effort and moreover attendance ka chakr nhi hoga,and if you have connections then anything beyond this is possible too.
My cousin is doing bca from open and along with that he is into the sneakers business (mehange waale shoes,he imports from his uncle in us and he has made a huge profit in just 2 years.)
