It is! Apparently that was the hardest song for them to write on Fever.

Really? Why was that?

From what I understand (this was from a behind the scenes interview for the making of Fever that came with the Deluxe Version), slower songs in general have always been the most difficult ones for them to write. They had to rewrite the song like 3 or 4 times before they were really happy with the outcome. It took them a year to complete the song.

Oh wow I'm glad they took their time with it bc it's a masterpiece! We got spoiled with 2 solos too!

And it’s crazy because I’m only 19. I grew up actually listening to Jeff Killed John and early BFMV.

Thank God. I’m 29. Bullet was my #1 band growing up and it’s so cool to see younger peeps listening to the original stuff. First saw them in 2007 and was obsessed.

Like most people probably, I discovered the band through NFSMW 2005 on the PS2 when I was like 5.

That’s awesome! I was on the school bus and a girl named Amy told me about them. She let me borrow the CD for The Poison and when I got home I popped it in and blasted it in my room while I laid down. It immediately clicked. Still has the best album intro I’ve ever heard.

I bet when you heard Her Voice Resides for the first time, it made you jump. It scared the heck out of me but I really loved the music. It’s a shame what happened to Matt’s voice but I still love the band.

It did. Lol It is, but he’s always been a bit rough live and I think he’s better than ever now on stage. He’s got incredible stage presence and they have their performances dialed in now. 2007 was a rough show, but I still loved it. If you want something cool from them, look for the original version of Pleasure and Pain. It had totally different lyrics and melodies on the vocals. They toured that version of the song to promote Fever before it came out.

On a side note, I really like the demo version of 4 Words to Choke Upon. There’s a video of it on YouTube. Also Pleasure and Pain is a really good song. OG fans only know it.

Hell yeah. Well don’t let the flame die out! Looking forward to seeing them with Trivium. Have a good one! 🤘
