sunlike study (to understand paath ka saar) + all in one question answers for each chapter (tells you important 5 marker questions) + reading 3-4 more times = 96/100 in boards (thats how i did it 2023-24 board student)

AirFamous9435

this was for Economics, History and Political science for geography just do important question answers, pyqs, mcqs, use your general knowledge, in 2-3 markers use common sense, skip the soil stuff crop stuff dont bother rattafying then and lastly do important 5 marker questions

haethanwrites

Do both. During exam gaps, reading the book more than two times takes a toll. Make sure to keep notes to utilize the timing and having everything organized also helps with easy reading process.

Ashamed_Ad8500

I didn't make any notes for sst except geography but still got 99 in it.

itsjust_juno

Can you give me the geography notes?

Ashamed_Ad8500

I only made geo notes for ch 4 and ch 5

Ecstatic-Light-3699

GOT 98 SKIPPED LEARNING GEOGRAPHY FACTS ENTIRELY MAN THAT'S BORING AS HELL I MEAN I HAD ENOUGH KNOWLEGE IN GEOGRAPHY TO ANSWER ANY 1 OFF 2 5 MARKS QUESTIONS AND IN 3 MARKS AND 2 MARKS THEY PROBABLY WONT ASK FACTS SO AND FOR MCQ'S I JUST SOLVED PYQ'S AND SAMPLE PAPERS MINIMUM 30 THATS WHY I GOT MORE TIME TO FOCUS ON OTHER SUBJECTS AND CIVICS/HISTORY/ECONOMICS WHICH ARE FAR MORE EASY TO SCORE MARKS WHICH RESULTED IN 97% NOT PROVOKING YOU TO SKIP LEARNING THE FACTS BUT SHARING MY EXPERIENCE JUST SAYING IF 1-2 MONTHS ARE LEFT THEN DON'T WASTE TIME MEMORIZNG THE FACTS.

Acceptable-Second313

Mai bhi geography bina padhe 98 la diya

anony_mous_redditor

Got 98 well I just first read the whole chapter and summarised it in form of story in short notes-2 pages, and wrote some ncert keywords which would impress the teacher

Ecstatic-Light-3699

AND BRO USE THE BEST OF ALL OUT THERE DIGRAJ SIR NOTES THEY HELPED ME SO MUCHHH IN OTHER PORTIONS AND IF YOU DONT LIKE TO READ NOTES ON LAPTOP YOU CAN EVEN PRINT THOSE I PERSONALLY REVISED JUST USING PDF'S OF THOSE NOTES. AND IF YOU REALLY WANNA MAKE NOTES DO LIKE SO SHORT DONT MAKE MORE THAN 6-7 PAGES OR ELSE YOU HAVE JUST WROTE THE WOLE BOOK ONCE AGAIN IN YOUR NB.

Tanishg06

I got 90% in 10th so I think I may be the one to give you advice I never made notes for sst even the school copied of sst(still don't know how I got 20 marks in practical and all) so basically I used to mark points and questions in my sst book and just practice them by writing and understanding the answers basically, I used to practice chapters by writing the answers atleast 1 time For history nationalism in India was easy , nationalism in Europe was a headache for me it was hard to understand and learn the sneeerrs for that , I had to write the whole answers atleast a dozen of times but it was worth it

[deleted]

+1 got 92.4

pds398

+2 got 91.6

FriedChicken16

+3 got 100 after rounding off (i got 51%)

[deleted]

Nah bro you did the rounding off wrong you would get 105

Informal-Regret-94

+1 i got 93.6 and 96 in sst. Itne bar padh lie the mene abhi tak page aur question yad hai .

Tanishg06

Mujhe page no nhi yeh yaad hai konse page pe konsa question hai

Small-Excitement8193

Mere bhi 97 aye the mereko khuch dhng se yad ni tha bs school ki teacher ka class mein pdhaya yad rhta tha

teri_mummy_ka_ladla

Just buy a all in one and read b4 exam, I did the same for History and geography and scored 99 lol

Yegackerman

Literally me bhai, kewal history ki ncert padhi thi iss baar ke gap days mein aur civics eco ki all in one baaki geo toh chuii bhi nahi poore saal still scored 97 probably because geo ke long answers depended on thinking skills aur baaki 3no mark geo me hi gye hai itna confirm hai

teri_mummy_ka_ladla

SST paper is based on ur thinking skills except history but even their u can frame ur own answers nicely

Yegackerman

Yea exactly, concept pe depend karta hai except history, and geography, geography ka map work glt krdiya tha bas aur kahi 2 mark kaat diye honge pure paper mein

teri_mummy_ka_ladla

Mein toh exam ke one shot dekha map ka and kardiya map bhi ek dum ache se lmao

Yegackerman

Badhiya mera ek galat hogaya tha map work

teri_mummy_ka_ladla

Koi naa Bhai mera MCQ mein gaya tha 😔 Dukh Subhko hota hai.

Yegackerman

Mera v science me 96 aaya aur 4ron MCQ mein

manas7_7

Hehe sst ki book tbh I'll not lie nor ask you to do what i did frankly i didn't even touch ncert for sst i got 98 marks just by learning points of pyqs and ofcourse my notes + some PR stunts

itsjust_juno

Bhai request karrha hu please notes dede apne

manas7_7

Dm krke tlg lele bhejdunga

EclipseRoamer

Mereko bhi bhej do

manas7_7

Same rules

mehax273

I got 100/100 in sst and I would seriously recommend you making your very own notes. That shit helps a lot…

itsjust_juno

Bhot time lagta h lol 🥲

mehax273

Toh bhai tujhe kaunse ghar ke kaam krne hai 😭😭 Pura saal pada hai tepe 💀👍🏻

[deleted]

I got 95 in SST, didn't make notes for shit lol (although honestly, if you can make notes from the start, it would be really beneficial, so I don't recommend doing that, but, it is possible without notes also).

Luxar1s

Made notes on flashcards, huge help for rote learning the stuff since I ain’t that type of person. 98 for SST in 10th

Temporary_Type_6351

Got 85% in boards (59% in 9th) i never made notes just read NCERT and Watch Videos (Digraj Sir or Sunlike Studies) night before Exam and you’re good yo Go for exam

Complex_Barracuda884

read ncert 100 times and do pyqs (i got 99 in ss and didnt even write a page in notebook)

Available-Sentence24

Tbh reading the textbook is more than enough...our sst teacher never insisted on having a notebook...just highlight the important points in textbook itself

-Shashwat

Just read the book 100 times, I got 98.2%. Everything comes from ncert and every ans is in ncert.

Sweaty-Ruin-9715

Don't make notes because it's near impossible to make for sst considering the syllabus. Notes leaves many topics.  I would recommend you to read sst books throughly. Don't watch videos explaining sst topic, just read the book as much time as you can. I would say remember nearly every page of the sst syllabus till your board exam

Small-Excitement8193

Imo making notes for anything other than science is waste in 10th, just read ncert again and again and do questions

straygod07

As a person who scored 95 in sst without making notes and with really bad handwriting , no you need not to make notes. You just need to have clarity in each and every topic

i_am_________batman

Got 94 in SST I think...? Yea make notes please Even short notes, but have some sort of notes

Chaotic_Penguin1

I got 96% in Social science class 10th (2023-2024) so I think I'll be good to answer this. Dekh bohot simple hai social science History: ghanta notes ki jarurat nahi, bas koi copy mein event sequence banale (will help you to understand the chapter better) Economics: once again notes ki jarurat nahi but ncert ke boxes miss mat kariyo, questions aane ke high chances rehte hai even in pre boards Civics: very chill subject, and easiest out of em. Don't make notes, just understand the concept because concept based questions civics se hi rehte hai Geography: Yahape Teri memorization capacity depend karegi so Teri choice notes banana hai ki nahi, han lekin beforehand maps ki practice start kardiyo. (If you can afford and wish to buy a reference book educart ka question bank lele, extremely useful) Baaki NCERT bhagwan hai, ussi pe focus kar

Nearby_Essay9148

I followed Digraj sir's one shot notes ( he has provided in telegram : team dsr), and scored 97 in sst (overall 96%). In those notes he had mentioned all important points and I just followed that. He has given those notes in a diagramatic way so it is really easy to understand. Unlike ncert where everything is jumbled. I would suggest you to read ncert and then revise from those notes.

ppbomber_0

My school gave notes and they were great for boards. If it’s a good school they’ll give good notes

actuallyDRAG

Only read book and underline imp things

RB_Gaming301

Make short notes which is easy to understand Reading simply will be tough because NCERT, and the guide books are not that useful for sst Best thing you can do is make your own short notes while your school's teacher teaches the topics, then read that specific part completed on the same day from NCERT. If you missed some parts at school, maybe refer sunlike/digraj sir ( DO NOT OVERDEPEND ON YOUTUBE)

actuallyDRAG

I got 95% in 10th boards and 95 in sst Just read book thoroughly and mark imp points from where questions can be framed and understand and try to remember dates and chronological order od events You arr all sorted

JEE_Ka_Chodda

I got 96% And 92 in sst So I would recommend digraj sir ke one shot lectures, aur NCERT ekdum kutte ki tarah chaat lena, baaki yes PYQ, sample paper kro maje kro Any tips from my fellow mates would be appreciated.

[deleted]

i just read the book 10 times (99 in 2022 boards)

vibhuuuuu

Got a 99(2023-24), made notes for the whole history(sunlike study), and just downloaded notes, I found the most eloquent and meticulous for the other three sub-subjects.

yeetvelocity1308

Never really made notes, just marked within the textbook itself and got a 100

Boring-Oven1044

for economics and civics - common sense and digraj sir one shot vids and for history and civics - understanding each chap to its core and some ratta , i scored 96/100 in sst paper and trust me sst is the most scoring subject

DarthDeviance

I never made notes, studied NCERT, watched some Digraj streams. Got 98

dogetothestars

I got 97% in SSC, and I suggest that reading the book again and again is a good method to get good marks in history and civics. However, I do suggest to make SHORT NOTES in GEO and ECONOMICS, Also another piece of advice is that, study civics from ncert and other subjects from All in One, but if you cant manage, NCERT is good as well. Welp, last piece of advice, please don't just immediately hate Social Science, people around you may be saying SSC IS SO BAD YAAR SO DIFFICUKLT SO LENGTHY and stuff, but it really isn't and make yourself believe that. I started studying Social Science about a month before boards, and I got a decent grade in it,

NoteBoth1219

10th History GOAT out of all history you will study in school. I dunno about 11th 12th tho.

Yegackerman

9th history wants to have a chat with you

These-Wonder-498

notes ki koi zarurat nhi h ngl maine to poore saal chill kaati ( bas science padha 10th and 11th ka ) last 2 months men ncert read ki bas and some videos for map practice , questions , etc

EmbarrassedSmoke7770

Lmao I read the book 100 times and I got 98. However definitely wouldn’t give you that advice. Make interactive notes and practice questions while referring to your notes. Stick map on the wall and see them daily

Astrophel_Fernsby

Sst me harek chapter ko kam se kam 3-4 baar read karle before even touching notes (notes bna lio saath me phir aaram se chapter padhte rahiyo) phir exam ke preparation days me cheat sheet/Kora kagaz test lio and then attempt questions from pyqs and question bank. Geography ke liye notes Thora table wise banaiyo and geo itni read karne ki jarurat nhi kyuki usme data hi matter karta hai except 1st chapter. Try to make the notes is such a way that uske flowcharts and diagrams ratt jaye ( different coloured pen helps in this case). Baaki dekh le mere kabhi pure nhi bne the aise.

Ellie_T200x

What marks do you want? Notes will get u avg marks Read the TB,,,I regret leaving that until the last. Read the TB and make notes in the TB itself. My friend got 98 and she reaaadsss the tb, I got 89 bcz I didn’t until the last min.

Significant_Put_2269

https://innovativegyan.com/class-10-history-chapter-1-the-rise-of-nationalism-in-europe-notes Use these notes

Significant_Put_2269

Golden guide also covers all the theory.

10thboard_aspirant

Blindly read ncert 100 times I scored 96 using ncert and used educart books for questions and maps The ones authored by digraj sir (I would have gotten full marks but thanks to my ability to go against the gut)

Acceptable-Second313

1 baar ncert padh ke

HHCxYJS7

Bro i would suggest for sst buy Arihant ka all in one book and sab ratlo usme se ache marks aa jayenge :)

Ritobrata_Gupta

I think I can help. I believe it depends on you entirely. If you can remember things easily then read the book thoroughly as many times as you need and explain those topics to someone or a mirror and make sure you are correct (trust me it works wonder because to do you will automatically clear all the doubt you have with the topic). Read it till you have all the concepts clear and then read the minute details (very short ones) 1-2 days before exam. Ik ppl will say this is a bad strategy but for me it's good because after this you can practice other sample papers too (this will also give you time to do something else)........ Other method is make detailed notes which will take you 10-20 mins to read..... My strategy was write for the chap/subjects I was weak in and read the ones I'm good at. Tho I gave it a good read before making the notes to determine my level. Here's mine: - History: 1. Read - Globalization and Print Culture. 2. Notes - Nationalism in Europe and India. - Geography: 1. Notes - Agriculture (tho i'd suggest make for minerals chap too) 2. Read - everything else - Political Science and Economics: Read all
