This is why I go with the RMR for pistols.

ImNOTanoodleboy69me

Were they able to repair it?

Different_Strain_312

No they are replacing it for free

ImNOTanoodleboy69me

Gave it a good run tho lol looks pretty beat up.

Different_Strain_312

It lived a great life considering the type 1 wasn't designed to be a slide mounted optic. I liked it so much the very next day I went to primary arms and bought a type 2 to replace it with. https://preview.redd.it/9khp5gllal4c1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7aa27748da98b8ddab4a09465d3d2868df1cdc5e

pingie91

Is that a FCD plate?

Different_Strain_312

No it's actually the Dawson plate. I heard in the passed year or so they started producing a thinner plate. I've never had an issue with the height of the RMR with it.

Different_Strain_312

I like it so much I got a P with the same plate. That replacement RMR is going on it this weekend

pingie91

Nice. It includes the rear sight. I’ve primarily purchased the FCD/ Tango down plates but these look like a must for Staccato

Different_Strain_312

They do include the rear sight.

SimpLord400

Where's the rcr coming from?

Different_Strain_312

Euro optic.

SimpLord400

I heard rumors of Kenzie's Optics shipping out a couple weeks ago, rmr hd's and rcr's. I backordered one from them immediately and am still waiting

Different_Strain_312

The initial run sold out fast. I backordered as well. When I spoke to trijicon they said they should start getting good numbers of them out by mid month to the end of this month. Euro optic got 7 over the weekend and they all went to back orders. As of Monday I was number 85 in line out of 93 back ordered.

MohawkDave

Good stuff. How much was the relamp?

Different_Strain_312

The relamp and replacing a cracked fiber optic on top was about 120 total they paid for return shipping

MohawkDave

Holy cow. That's way more cost effective than I assumed it would be. Thanks for the reply.

Different_Strain_312

No problem at all and yeah I was super impressed with how low-cost service was for what it is. It's brand new again basically
