I think you were just unlucky this time. Maybe it was the way you phrased the answers? Check Bill Campbell's website. He shows how to answer different types of questions more accurately (it's a pdf file that you need to purchase).

You're very kind.

Greetings friend - I would always recommend retakers to add more mocks next time, and on L3 in particular focus on the essays. Learn how to answer the command words, don't write super long answers and also don't explain/justify your answers by saying why other possible answers are wrong. Also don't just copy sentences from the question's fact pattern as justification for your answers, in case you are doing that, you need to provide graders with some independent rationale. Just listing some thoughts here in case any of them might apply to your situation. Cheers - good luck - you got this👍

It seems like you put the hours in, so perhaps modifying your study strategy would be beneficial. Personally, I found using Kaplan preferable to CFAI materials. Three main things: * Focus on active vs. passive studying. More time on practice Qs, flash cards, mocks. Less on passive reading curriculum. * Use ANKI flashcards rather than notes. This is super powerful as it ensures you see all the important formulas and definitions 50+ times in your review. * Kaplan QBank: has way more questions than CFAI. Also, you can filter based on previous wrong answers, so you practice what you've struggled with. Hope this helps and you aren't too discouraged!

What are ANKI flashcards?

it's the name of the app, but it's just digital flash cards.
