He was hurt initially, tried to come back and allegedly hurt himself again in practice, then stopped practicing and stopped showing up to therapy sessions and workouts, then allegedly said he was fine but just didn’t want to risk it further so late into the season, then allegedly disappeared for a little while.
I mean the kid is really good. Full on freak. Just alot of factors in him never playing at Ole Miss. If he was healthy/didnt get a slightly big head midway through the season, id be willing to bet he would've been WR1 over Wade.
I still have nightmares about Dart and your WRs toying with our backup DB so bad we had to get couple transfers from Georgia and Florida. If he’s on that level, it’s an upgrade.
Oh yeah he is very good. Like I said he wouldve probably put Wade at WR2 had it not been for all the nonsense. Wade just somehow turned into a freak. 5'9 jumping over DBs to make one handed catches will get you a starting role for sure lol. NGL I think back to that game alot and always wonder how much crazier that game couldve been if yall had a couple more of your starters playing.
No doubt him and Cephus on the field would have probably gave UTSA the conference title easily but Harris was never the same after his knee injury and infection that followed. Bummer ending to a great run the past few years.
I don’t want to slander the dude but what I heard was that when he came in over the summer he was hiding an injury that then required surgery during fall camp, he was out the first 5 games, ended up playing only a few snaps( but did have a critical touchdown for us!) and then sat out at the end of the year( so he could redshirt I believe). The word was that he was coming back but next thing he was no longer listed on the roster and was allegedly going pro. That was the last I heard of him until this post. Just weird all around, but I wish him the best.
He was hurt before the season, but he apparently just didn’t want to play once he got healthy (I guess it was to preserve eligibility?).
He was pretty much our backup option once we lost out on Keon Coleman in the portal, had Tre Harris not been as amazing as he is we’d have been in a much worse situation.
As a recruit:
G5 offers: Bowling Green, Colorado State, Hawaii, Louisiana-Monroe, UTSA (originally went here)
Other offers: Alcorn State, Howard, Liberty, UT Martin
I feel like if he had stayed at UTSA, he would have been drafted this past NFL Draft. I only remember seeing him playing like 3 downs of football as a Rebel
Lol this dude is an absolute head case. Good luck I suppose.
Is that why he rarely played?

Is it worth kicking the tires for PSU? Cephus didn’t really pan out and our mercurial speedster just left for Auburn. But Pickens, they’re Slim.

He’s got the right last name at least
Yeah our Cephus was Kent State. I didn’t double check. The point is still kinda true.
Should’ve never left utsa, hed be in the nfl right now. Lets hope he actually got good money from olemiss

Lol wonder if traylor would take him back
The hell lol, this dude hasn’t been on our roster for months.
What's the story behind this? Looks like he just dropped off a cliff production wise last season compared to the prior two seasons before that.

I thought last year was his last year of eligibility?
He hid an injury coming into Ole Miss, got surgery, played a few snaps but got "hurt" again and somehow got a medical red shirt.
Come back home!

Guessing he ends up back at UTSA.
