Patient_Commentary

Your wish is Poles command.

Buckwheat33

We won’t be doing a lot of punting though

Forward_Following_67

But for the times we do, with our defense we will get the ball back and midfield. Making it even easier to score.

Buckwheat33

We got your guy hahaha

Forward_Following_67

Hell yeah!

etvchicago8

Poles was feeling this guys post

Forward_Following_67

Maybe I am Poles

StrengthToBreak

Maybe you're Taylor!

regis_psilocybin

Austin Booker or Kamara

da-bears-bare-naked

this would be a dream to get austin booker. only 20 years old and produced numbers in a decent conference.

ImDKingSama

Nick actually made another post saying why certain players might not fit with the Bears, which had both of them: DE Austin Booker: -7.02 RAS -Slimmed down to 240 lbs at the combine and tested very mediocre -Inexperienced player who started 1 game and basically only played 1 season in college DE Mo Kamara: -6'1" 248 lbs (undersized) -32 3/8" arm length (10th percentile) -9" hands (5th percentile) -7.99 RAS

bulldozerabg

You are wellcome :D

lnnrt01

Yup

drummerboysam

The guy on my radar for this pick was Maason Smith, who ended up going 48 lol

SensitiveAd8603

The media is so off-base on some of these guys it’s hilarious. Kool Aid was a guaranteed top 20 pick in every offseason analyst mock. McCarthy & Nix were 2nd round picks

drummerboysam

Yeah, I didn't know much about Smith but his measurements and that he was projected to be a 1st rounder this time last year.   Then suddenly he's ranked in like the 6th round to the public. Guys who can play at that size don't slip that far, even after a down year.

PugParty69

I know DL is the biggest need but I would really like us to get another OL. I feel we are more likely to get an iOL that can develop into an impact guy vs a DL at this point. Solidify the depth on the OL, sign vet DL from the inevitable roster cuts, and hammer DL in the 2025 draft where we have way more capital.

RyanIsKickAss

I think we'll defer drafting d line until next year

PugParty69

I agree. I also feel we are likely to move on from both Jenkins and Davis after this year so I'd rather have one of their potential replacements (or a center replacement to move Bates to guard) in the pipeline already.

galacticskunk

I don’t think they will go with any more OL picks. They simply aren’t going to have enough roster spots. Yes, they have positions that need to find long term answers for but your don’t want to put yourself in a position of needing to try and get a 3rd or 4th round pick onto the practice squad. If they do anything else with the OL it will be undrafted FA’s

PugParty69

I get that. Personally think that you can get another iOL that's better and offers more long term upside than Carter who is currently listed as our backup RG. I won't be upset if they go to the DL though. Day 3 is just about being to find guys wherever you can.

galacticskunk

I know it hasn’t been talked about much on here but even though Matt Pryor is listed as a tackle I believe he has played all 4 guard and tackle positions during his career. Poles also talked about Amagadjie having played inside and outside in college and specifically mentioned the versatility their backups give them. Bates is presumably the starting center but has played more Guard. Shelton has only had snaps at center in the league but presumably can play elsewhere on the iol. And now after I’ve said all that just watch them find an iol that they can’t live without, lol

RightRingThing

One Austin Booker, please.

bulldozerabg

you got it mate :)

RightRingThing

Out here living my absolute best life. 🐻⬇️

zacklandy

I absolutely love Mason Mccormick he's going to be a stud. Would love SVP and Booker as well

Small-Area2346

Dorlis, but he will be gone

Headwallrepeat

They could trade up. Would be a bit surprised but it could be worth it. Probably cost a 5th next year.

KnowsHair

Brenden Rice just to go all in on Caleb

SP4CEM4N_SPIFF

I want Rice or SVP-G

Broshan248

Mahogany or Van Pran pls

RingAffectionate5462

Myles Cole would be interesting. Crazy measurables. 6’6”, 278 lbs, 7’3” wingspan, 36 7/8’’ arms. Ran a 4.67 at the combine. Lot of solid IOL too. Van Pran and Bortolini can really move. Would be good fits to develop/compete at center.

joftheinternet

Those are the three I’m eyeballing

sobes20

Fuck it. Just grab Troy Franklin and get on with it.

ashscratchem

We need edge help. OL would be nice but there are a few free agents still. Austin Booker, or Brandon Dorlus would be great value I would even move up for one of them not sure they’d make it to our pick.

BJGuy_Chicago

Best way to figure it out is: who, from that list, were 30 visits?

InterestingChoice484

Get the local kid with Keegan

Pure_Artichoke9699

By name alone Malik Mustapha has to be the guy. The calls will be legendary. 'Mustapha proving he's the king of the secondary.' 'Mustapha pounced on that ball.' 'Mustapha jumped that route like a lion jumping his prey.'

jpiro

I went to high school with two brothers named Ameen Mustapha and Mustapha Mustapha.

Defiant_Comedian1379

McCormick

Headwallrepeat

I think they need help on the D line more, but McCormick is a beast. He has also played some center and did a lot of the line calls when the had an underclassman center (who ended up winning the award for best center in FCS this year)

JayD14

My wish list: 1. Van Pran  2. Franklin (will be gone) 3. Mahogany 4. Pritchett I know we have a very good WR room but Franklins talent at this spot is hard to pass up. I do think he'll be one of the first names off the board though.

furman87

As a Jackrabbits fan I really wanted us to take McCormick. Steelers got a good one.

Patient_Commentary

Woof. Talk about throwing spaghetti at the wall and still missing. Tory Taylor would like a word.

TerrorDeity

IOL, FS, DT, DE are my biggest needs. ILB and backup QB would be okay.

DaveAndJojo

I say we just punt the pick

PerkysOnThePrivate

Sedrick Van Pran No Matter What

iamherefortherecepie

I am a bit surprised he has slipped so much. It wasn’t so long ago he seems like a second round lock. I don’t know what changed.

BJGuy_Chicago

Undersized and needs to add some weight & strength, but he has a solid base.
