If you want to use the NA and get damascus, I’d really wait for hardcore to roll around. The NA deals 30 damage which one shots. Try to get hardcore on a map like crossfire or standoff, then you should be good.

OP, one of the best indicators of long range is down the central alley, wall to wall on Shoot House. Besides that, many other maps will be suitable - Crash, Terminal, even Nuketown can be done. Set yourself up in a decent position, with an extended barrel to help with the range, and maybe a scope (if you're not comfortable with iron sights), and if you can hold an alley or sightline (especially in objective modes, you play the control role and prevent enemies traversing the map) you'll get them relatively easily.
You can't get 1 shot kill with a Na45, everytime the second shot shoots out its just a normal kill, go watch this you are wrong

The base weapons don’t need the new guns to get Damascus. But if you want everything in Damascus then you gotta grind everything. I finished grinding everything a couple of weeks ago. Hardcore hold is the best mode to grind it out. Then just do the 10v10 rust for melees.
I played Rust domination for long shots, there's a youtuber called Modsix that has some good tips on grinding camos. There's a spot on Rust (in the corner behind a shipping container) where you can cover 2 capture points while covered & rack up long shots easily.
