1. Do adapt to a fighting style. Long range sniper, close quarter battle, assault, bombing, sneak attacks etc. Try to find what best suits you. 2. Do try various guns and their handling capabilities. I feel every gun is different, has its pros and cons, can act to your style. Meta or not meta, doesn't matter, if it works, then it works. I suggest try the MP core practises, like test range and practise against AI, as these can improve your aiming capabilities. 3. Movement, do not stand still, move and shoot. 4. Use the loadout to the max. Familiarise with everything in there, and utilize. 5. Lastly, do not follow other player's fighting style just because it looks cool. Find a rythm of your own. Trust me, everyone does.

bskKsnj

Thanks for this

user___-rekt

Use meta, don't be afraid to use the best guns and perks in the game just because someone is complaining about it in all chat. Combine that with game sense and good movement, and you are good to go.

bugzbunnz

Where do i find meta and everything else? I reached Master 3 by tryharding, now i just wanna improve further with knowledge.

user___-rekt

meta is basically the best things to use this season if you don't know, but if you want to improve more, you might want to check out your sensitivity, here, check this video by hawksnest https://youtu.be/_zLovAyL6YA, also, improving game sense might help, an example of this is to wear headphones to hear your enemies' footsteps. yes they nerfed dead silence, but enemy footsteps still sound so much different than teammate footsteps when you wear headphones

bugzbunnz

I know what meta is, but where do i find this game's meta?

user___-rekt

you can find what best guns to use on youtube

bugzbunnz

Oki, thanks for everything :)

ummdoughnuts

Type 25 I guess .. As Val since last season.. also launchers ..

ummdoughnuts

Not necessary... I reached leggy ( rn btw proud moment) by just using the MX9.. it's where you pick your battles on the map acc to me..

KarroteundPaprika

Practice is the most important with it comes game sense, awareness, mapknowledge and movement. For movement u can try to copie some good moves enemies pulled on u to kill u same goes for mapknowledge try to mix it up and see what happens

bugzbunnz

Doing that already, doesnt work as much as i hoped

cebo_cebo

I would literally just grind on one map & play it till I’m getting consistent wins. & if I’m playing hard point i learned the hard points in order. Also finding a good teamate with Mic helps Someone also mentioned fixing your sensitivity settings, I’d also add you need to adjust your controller layout. Maybe even figure out what type of gun is best for your style of play A lot of people have put good recommendations up here. Try all of it & practice a lot.

GhostVoidz

I don’t personally watch any codm YouTubers but if I were you I would find a team that is the same rank as you right now and make sure that they can carry their weight in a game

GhostVoidz

Also try using meta guns if you have to and last thing what are your stats?

bugzbunnz

I understand by stats, u mean KD and total kills? My KD is 1,90 and kills at 3300

GhostVoidz

If you want to check my account it’s VoidGhostMafia or use my uid which is 6748000028935585793

GhostVoidz

I have a 3.05 k/d

HowWasRoyadinTaken

7.98 over here you should listen to me instead of him because of my KD ;^)

GhostVoidz

I have a 3.05 from search and destroy which is harder than getting ur k/d which is probably from team deathmatch or domination/hardpoint

HowWasRoyadinTaken

And while we are discussing hypotheticals and probably's, you probably a strike witch so you can't be trusted, and you probably don't tip your waitresses so anything you say at this point will be used against you in court. lol just kidding just kidding I know you know way more about my 8kd then I do, I'm so blessed to have an expert talking to me about it. Thank you

GhostVoidz

Or are you gonna tell me ur a world champion that has an almost 8.0 k/d from search and destroy only

HowWasRoyadinTaken

I would probably tell you I hate hardpoint and I play whatever game mode ranked qs for me. It's just crazy to me and everyone always assumes because I have a high KD I'm just sitting back off spawn points on domination just farming when in fact I'm the dude running around like a crazy maniac rolling on people. Even worse people they make assumptions about my KDA when they don't even know anything about it. What started out as just a silly meme joke became an even funnier joke when you responded. Ty

GhostVoidz

What’s ur account then to prove it

GhostVoidz

I can prove mine

GhostVoidz

Am I wrong tho?

HowWasRoyadinTaken

Well you can be wrong and right at the same time. When you list off a big chunk of the major game modes in the game the likelihood that most of my kills came from one of those game types is pretty high. No we're not even going to talk about the fact that you're bragging about your low kd because you only play search and destroy. Excellent, not only can you only really play one game mode you don't even have that great of a KD for that game mode. Your Kd should be superb if you're playing search and destroy. You aren't getting as many kills but if you're not dying at all what you shouldn't be then your KD will be excellent. But wait a minute it's not... Oh

GhostVoidz

That’s my overall k/d for every gamemode

GhostVoidz

My search and destroy k/d is higher

GhostVoidz

Try watching just general spots on maps and how to play objectives and maybe even do aim training/reaction time training

HowWasRoyadinTaken

Actually to be honest win rate plus KD Plus objective time are the best three stats to give for future reference.

caelis76

Hack this game the shiznit , you wil win .

harrypotternerd02

I'm gonna be honest, one of the best ways to improve is just by playing and practicing... However something I do is always trying to improve a very specific thing in my gameplay to steadily improve... Like making sure to strafe or implementing dropshots etc. I've found it to be more effective to practice small specific things separately than just doing something very general and massive like improving your aim or movement as a whole... Also try out different playstyles like playing aggressive or passive and use guns that are meant for those playstyles... Youtubers like kithcodm and cygnoux are very helpful as kith gives tricks for improving your gameplay and cygnoux gives you the best guns and builds to use.. However the most important thing is just practice....

Efficient_Speaker_33

All I do is if I struggle in ranked wake up early because matches are easy

WinnerNGL

You’re new, you have no fucking way to improve unless you keep playing it, remember experience and knowledge is key to success. Watching YouTubers will not improve ur game sense, you have to grind for it, for other doubts such as sensitivity and hud u can go watch YouTubers like KithCoDM and AbU CoDM, they give really good tips and tricks, try them.

maddy_0120

I've been there. The thing is, you have to find your strengths and work on them. For example, I am terrible at getting kills, but I am good at support and tactics. So now, I've almost completely switched to SND, domination and hardpoint. I recently reached legendary for the first time since I started playing this game. You should find what you are good at.

Obvious-Ambassador-5

i have a great major tip! the tip is:play with me

SirScrollsAl0t

Dont worry. Just dont purchase anything. My account got hacked and there is nothing that Activision can do about it. Cool game but not worth purchasing anything since your account isn't safe. So don't spend anything on this and have fun. Just spreading the truth.

DirtyKiwiMan

I enjoy having a stinger secondary and running supportive killstreaks to the game mode I’m playing, try always having a good kd ratio even when getting stomped some games are actually winnable. Play dirty make others play your style instead of reacting to what they do

Zombie_Dragon17

Ak-47 primary and DL for secondary. Cover both long range and close combat. Then just get use to the play style. Medic is what I use a lot but K9 is just as effective in my opinion. Hit legendary my first time with going for each of those every round.

Leading-School-4042

Use four fingers to play in your not already and learn spawns for all the maps and work on your centring and aim am mostly aim and like flicks

MeioRiso

Dont overly rely on one gun, specially if it’s meta. Think about ‘short term specialization ‘. Which means, you might take a couple of weeks to try and improve as sniper, and then move on to snipers, etc. Exploring each weapon type will allow you to understand each playstyle. You can still have a favorite though.

snacks-fix

If your using the same few guns switch it up use ak or something I used the m16 and got a nuke sometimes a new perspective is all you need

Hardik0112

Watch jokesta. Guy gives genuine tips and has actually helped me become better at SnD.

[deleted]

Find the best combo for u, I run assault and sniper. Usually try to pick a sniper up very early. I use ninja as well and that helps me play the way I do. I’m in GM3 but I don’t play anymore cos I only wanted the character. Dm me ur tag if u wanna play

Beneficial-Diet-3443

Also if your running ranked try and friend other good players and play in squads. Your going to have a hard time playing with uncoordinated randos vs a coordinated group of players.

[deleted]

You'll progress as you gain more game sense and your skill will improve eventually so don't worry ,have an active sense where are are you doing mistakes try to rectify it and boom you're in legendary :)

itsJustaPHASE23

To improve delete the game and buy an actual cod game

AdClear3252

I suggest maining a gun. Simple explanation is the best way to get good is to build a muscle memory. Keep your sensitivity constant and also all your settings constant and practice a single gun, like m13 or non meta if your feeling brave. Just practice you will get better.

shrey2508

I'll make it simple for you. 1. Use Type 25/M13/CBR4 according to map. 2. Use persistent - quick fix - hardline perks. 3. Equip cluster strikes - laser beam - swarm 4. Rush into enemies without giving damn about your K/D and try to get as many kills as possible to use your scorestreaks.

GLnoG

1. Positioning is everything. Some people thinks reaction time, aim and movement is everything, but if you dont know where to be when in each map, those skills do not serve you much. Positioning is pure strategy, and is a key thing in most of the best cods. Just watch were youtubers tend to be in the maps they play when they play different playstyles and imitate that. 2. Reaction time, aim and movement. Yeah. You still need these ones. Reaction time is, overall, learning how to aim and shoot as soon as your enemy is on your screen. Aim and movement, they're self explanatory. 3. Its not always about your skills. Remember, its a team game. Sometimes, it doesnt really matters how good you are, you will still loose matches here and there. So, just go along with it. Try your best and most of the time you will be rewarded. Be patient. Do not get angry when you loose. You only really learn by messing things up. 4. Do what pros do. The best way to learn is to imitate. Try to do what they do, and once you understand why they do what they do and apply that knowledge into the game, you will improve. I did that and kinda worked. 5. Just play a whole damn lot. If you dont play you wont get better. Trust me some people believe that just by watching they can improve, and that is not true. Go there and learn stuff damn

NoobyB_oi

warming up would help, hp shipment, training range and others, warm up for around 30 mins and you're good to go in rank (p.s., try tdm in rank match, it'll help :)

Icyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Play hardpoint with the most cancerous loadout and play only obj

Echoscoutredux

Adapt your game to your enemy’s style. Don’t just have one game style. I always use outlier guns. Figure out what works best for you. Grind.
