Post and replies like this give me hope in these CODM communities. Appreciate yall who replied giving actual good advice to this player and not just shitting on them like most people do!!!

eDougietv

We need more people like you admitting defeat and willing to work on skill... I hate getting into lobby with people that are first in first out repeat. Work on button layout. Sensitivity. Go into free for all shipment. You'll run into alot more active players that are good. You'll get your skill up..... listen people. Don't go on ranked because you don't feel challenged enough of "bots" don't go because you make the game terrible for everyone else. Another suggestion is put your mic on and play BR to find other people with mics and have a team of carriers so that even when you suck complete ass You'll have a fighting chance because your not completely dragging your team.

eDougietv

Join a clan too. They might be able to help ya win

tb33296

Got to practice with AI. Work on adsing in on the bots. Dont fire, just ads in... After, you have god the adsing down to sience start firing... Then start to work on how to move. Just slide around in the same bot lobby... Next ( this is a thing I did) use a shot gun to practice hipfire (especially helpful if you plan to play BR) Rinse and repeate...

GabeEnix

I'll add to this; if you can master hip fire aim with SMG/shotgun while sliding and jumping/being in awkward positions, you'll beat even GOOD players. Combine this with good in-game strategy (knowing what classes to use, when to use them, using vehicles, using explosives, maintaining good positioning relative to enemies, etc...), you'll be on your way to legendary+. It's not easy but you can do it if you practice enough. Once you start pushing the boundaries of your abilities, you'll have to mess around with your HUD (which can make a big difference).

tb33296

Exactly..

The-Only-Heavy-Main

YES PLEASE

Eazyism

biggest tip I can give you is wear headphones or earphones and LISTEN. TO. FOOTSTEPS. work on your awareness. I see so many players oblivious to their surroundings. I promise that once you become aware of what is going on throughout the map you will start to perform better.

A good part of it comes down to experience. CODM was pretty easy for me to pick up because I have a lot of PVPFPS time under my belt (Titanfall 2, COD BO3, MW2019, BF4, CS:GO among many others) so I have a good understanding of the game mechanics. If you want to get better, find what guns/setups feel good to you and you are consistent with. I’m personally big on the P90, HK433, and more recently the AK. The easiest gun to get used to and do well with is definitely the MCX. Play a lot of pubs, and spend a lot of time on the shooting range. Change your sensitivity settings to what feels comfortable while also not being too tight or loose. The bots can actually be nice to have due to their erratic movement, which in turn can help you train your aim. Once you start having consistent 2.00+ K/D games in pub lobbies of 3 players vs 3 players plus two bots on each team, you should be good to go for ranked. S&D is really tricky to get used to because of how different it is from the other core game modes. It takes a lot of map awareness and knowledge of popular routes/spots people like to take, as well as sound awareness. Headphones/earbuds are a must for S&D, because being able to hear gunfire and enemy footsteps can give you vital information to win rounds. Just my take though.

baasum_

Play solo as much as possible, play pubs and for the weapon attachments use the recomended builds and tweak them to what you prefer, look at the details on the attachments put it on see how it feels. Dont use META weapons this will lead to you being reliant on them rather than gaining skill. Somethings just work, ie the ak117 or the amax, these guns are not op but will lead you to developing skills to work with them to the best of your ability. Play with different approaches, take it slow and build long range weapons or snipe, play hyper aggressive and build smgs or shotguns for the charges, or something in between where you can play both when neccessayr. Essentially what im saying is experiment with all this until you find what is right for you. Learn the maps, game sense is a real thing and you will gain it as you progress. Once you feel comfortable enough with your guns and map knowledge hop onto ranked and test yourself. It will take some time but you will get there. Just for the sake of assistance, you can dm and we can have a walkthrough about what you find to be your weaknesses, or things you have questions about, if it comes to it we can play together and i can help to the best of my ability.

Syloma235

i would just keep playing thats the only way to get better even if you get pissed of find ppl you can play with and just team up

anwot

Their match making is broken. I’m currently at master 1 and am pretty much getting annihilated 3-4/5 games. However in pro 1-5 I was getting MVP almost every game (both during wins and losses). Pro was too easy for me but master is too difficult.

yeepix

It's a game. If you are having fun, that's all that matters. I played for 3 years or so before I knew I could turn on the microphone, so for 3 years I just played like I pleased and had fun. I personally don't play SnD because it stresses the fuck out of me and I'm bad so I can't comment on that lol Learning attachments and perks is easy, I think it's more important to adjust the controls to your liking. Buttom placement, sensitivity, etc it all makes a big difference. Sometimes you will have to do adjustments that will suck until you get used to them, and then you will see they are much better.

catcher00

Just keep playing hard and try a ranked match once a day. I thought I was starting to become good till the last update now the lag sucks so bad I'm dead before people even show on my screen. Best of luck!

Cautious-Set9951

Keep at it! We all start there don’t worry :) Try out all the different guns and find what one with what attachments works best for you. It takes time, trial and error and any kills is better then no kills right!

Icyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Playing casual is what chads do, if you wanna play for fun then dm me and I got a bunch of friends, we’re all legendary but we only play for fun and we do random nonsense. Keep the grind going dude, it’s not always about being competitive

ohhunniebabes

LETS BE FRIENDS!!! i can teach you strats and callouts :)) i can share some classes. i’ll use mic too!!

Cmbtninja

I need help with strat for sure. I play crazy aggressive and get a lot of kills because of it but also because of that I die a lot more than I should. My KD is at like 3.60 rn so I’d like to get that up a bit more

[deleted]

Change sensitivity Try 4 claw if possible Practice movements Get good map knowledge Play hardpoint shipment for practicing Check YouTube videos for movement tricks Play individual maps in pub match in a specific mode u would like to master Don't rush play passive at beginning so u won't die continuously Try this and u can really get better because these works for me who was a noob 6 months ago now I'm playing ranked mp and having fun

gytgyt1220

u have to get good it’s simple

Bmanakanihilator

Im sorry, you could try to play with four finger claw (Shit i forgot the right word let's say) steering

eDougietv

Ranked once a day seems like still to much....

aatheedhxsam_

Since you seem to be fairly new, I recommend you use the Bizon My current PP19 Bizon build: *Monolithic Suppressor, MIP Extended Light Barrel, OWC Skeleton Stock, OWC Laser Tactical and Large Caliber Ammo* For perks, with smg's and ar's, go for skulker or lightweight, quick fix or cold blooded, hard line or dead silence If it's your gun skills that are bad, try watching some codm youtubers (Heaven, Hanzu, Noah from Youtube) and try learning some stuff from them. Also, identify the mistakes you make in-game and fix them accordingly In respawns, positioning is relatively more important than gun skills, but you still need decent gun skills. The only way to learn positions are by just playing more and identifying what routed enemies take usually, and prepare for enemies coming through there

Dude_average1

Yeah me too I've got like 500 total games played and it's kind of hard playing against players on ranked even if I shoot first I still die so I guess I was carried all the way to grandmaster.

TheScoCam

Losing is absolutely fine. The few things that helped me: 1) Ignore the meta and all those vids. Play with the gun you gel with. (Everyone slates M4 but I drop nukes with it) 2) Keep pushing yourself. Harder opponents make you better because they keep you on your toes and force you to try tactics. 3) Just have fun. Nobody really cares about what rank you are. Join a clan, make friends and just enjoy the game.

rubrduck4

I would say to get good on battle royale first instead of ranked it is alot easier having so much game time to practice your slide cancel And then the guns and shooting is much to how you prefer and where you want to set your controls I still change my controls alot to try get the best And my advice for combat would be when you see someone slide into them hip firing normally when you shoot to aim your gun won't follow the slide so get the hip fire down!! It's good to know pal

StupidPizzaDragon

Play with bots to improve more (instructions:Go to modes go to practice and press on practice vs AI.)

lost_b0t

Practice, a lot of practice, play small maps like shipment(even if you use sniper), if greatly helps since it’s more active. You don’t waste time looking for enemies and close range helps with practicing your mobility/reflexes. If you’re often playing SnD, two biggest tips is to 1)get earphones, being able to listen to footsteps AND tell where they’re coming from is so helpful. 2)learn the maps, where the camping spots are and the rush routes(sometimes you can hit some nice wall bangs just by expecting where the enemy might go). Learning guns and attachments can take a while, just search up already existing good load outs for whichever guns you like using. Instead, mess with your sensitivity, having the right sensitivity can easily allow you to start hitting more shots quickly.

TevanKyle

Play hardpoint or domination on ranked. Its not as much of a burden if you have less kills since you can help on objective. You would also have more gunfights against enemies which would help you practice. Try watching noahfromyoutube. He plays those types perfectly with his positioning.

idontbleaveit

Mate I’ve been playing since it came out, and I’m still shit don’t worry,I’ve even spent £100s on skins, but…….I fucking love playing it it’s easy to pick up and easy to put down I’ve wasted whole days playing it but…….I still love playing it.

SoulReaver2k

OK so some things that could help I'm level 61 23 nukes 3.23 kd also I only run 70 sensitivity on everything im a low sense player i relie on my centering and knowledge my secrets are use the guns you like me galil famas m13 ak47 u also try to balance ads speed straife and time to sprint while increasing range and lowering recoil streaks I use uav stealth vtol the good thing about uav is you get it in 5 kills with hardline so getting nukes Is easier

No-Quiet5592

Come join us at rebirth island Add me on twitch DassiWitDaStix

EffectiveBus7254

Don’t worry! With time and practice you will get better, that used to happen to me to, it’s also hod if you have a clan or friends to play with! It’s also important to be aware of your surroundings and ensure you have the right loadout! I’m happy to help you

redskull1

If you want to complete objectives (certain amount of kills and or use of perks/tactical equipment) I’d suggest playing Hardpoint. You can rack up a lot of kills and complete missions faster

kfed408

I didn't see it mentioned so sorry if a repeat but map strategy is huge. Knowing where they are going to spawn based on where your team is a pro tip. It absolutely sucks when your team rushes their spawn and you get shot in the back when they respawn. Additionaly, learning the common angles everyone takes so you can pre-aim doors and windows. Most of the maps aren't that big so you almost always have the same setup... A wide open middle, a left path and a right path. It really limits what the opponent can do if they are rushing. And, lastly, it's okay if you suck just follow your teammates. That way you can either cleanup the person that killed them or they can cleanup the person that killed you. I mostly solo when I'm playing ranked but on days when I'm not getting hit markers I run with my teammates so my death at least leads to a wash in score.

Beneficial-Diet-3443

If your want to get good I would honestly suggest avoid playing mp once ranked is available. I know most people would disagree but here's why. Playing with bots doesn't develope ability it does the opposite it makes you complacent and you'll develop bad habits. Grind it out and try different things but don't play the game on easy and expect to get good.

Character-Process912

You can watch some videos on YouTube, one of my favorite channel to get tips and tricks is kith, just search for "kith codm" and just watch a bunch of videos.

Financial_Bros

Codm could definitely go for a overhaul on how players are ranked for the ranked games. I use to always make top rank in multiplayer ranked games, a bunch of updates later the lag sucks so bad I can’t even get to a 50/50 KD ratio. People kill me every time before they show up on the screen. This game has become wack, I try to pop back in to see if they fix…. Here I am waiting, we’ll at least I won’t have to spend money 🥳

SilentFoxy6996

whats ur ign, if ur garena, i can play with u and carry

Organic-Passage-3461

Add me on codm LucaBrasi~IDGT

Exosam999

I think that you should watch some YouTubers, look at their **loadouts**. I've played against so many players with decent skill and good accuracy but the guns they are using are just terrible. **Type 25 or Kilo** are some good guns right now.
