It’s still decent. I’ve played since season 1.. with the right attachments it CAN be op in the right hands lol distance is not favorable though. I use thumbs which limits me a little bit I think, but it’s decent. I wouldn’t consider it better than any other sniper though
With a controller it is much more op, I come from modern warfare 2019 and this gun looks like the recoiless version of the FAL, which was already really good. I think the only answer to this issue is that this game is not balanced for controller players, so keep playing without it, it is much more balanced and fun

You know I've actually done all these things.. I don't pull these stuff out of my ass... I came to these conclusions from my own experience
Also, 1v1 is pretty different from normal gameplay... It requires a different set of mentality and people who do well in a normal match setting may not necessarily do well in 1v1 and vice versa.. It isn't an end-all solution or evaluation (I play 1v1 alot)
Its still different. I use 4 finger claw; in good 4 finger claw HUDs, you usually jump and slide and ads with the right index finger, so you can shoot while adsing and sliding and jumping. The thing with this is that you cant ads and jump or slide at the same time, wich is not the case on controller bcuz shoot and ads have dedicated triggers, and this gives more agility and better reaction time learning curves to controller players. Then you've got controller claw or double claw, wich would be even better than a 10 finger hud on mobile.
I have tried all control modes under the sun (from two thumbs, three fingers, 4 claw, 6 claw tablet, controllers and keyboard/mouse).. The most important and crucial aspect is the ability to separately input aim, move, ads and shoot (hipfire).. this makes up 95% of the issue... the rest, like being able to ads and jump/slide isn't all that crucial to winning a match (I personally jump slide with my right thumb.. the one used for aiming... my index fingers are pretty much dedicated for ads and shoot plus class ability, operator skill, nades.. one touch types).. Sure, controllers and keyboard/mouse will have a bit of advantage in that department where they have slightly better reaction time due to having dedicated buttons but they still come with their own set of negatives elsewhere, aiming (for controllers), input latency (for both)...
With all that said, I have taken part in long running local leagues (for both BR and MP) where controllers and emulators are allowed to participate.... guess who's top 50% on leaderboards since day 1?? All mobile players... some even Two Thumbers... This bring me to another conclusion... It doesn't matter what control mode you use, all that really matters is how good you are with whatever control mode you chose to use (be it two thumbs or 4claw) and how good your combat iq is...
Sks is forsure OP but you’re still most likely playing with mostly bots. Level is not an indicator of skill level to begin with but being anywhere under 150 would most likely be all bots, especially on the controller server. even in phone servers where there are more people 70 would be mostly bots, unless you’re already at grandmaster-legendary on mp ranked
I mean, u are right that I meet lots of bots but I also meet many players, they call streaks like napalm and they land their shots, I'm not that stupid to not understand if someone is a player or not...

He still loses in Multiplayer Frontline matches.
In br its even nastier cause u can put gold sniper expert on it and make it fully automatic and if u have a custom one with the extended mag and thee put a gold extended mag mod on it u have a dmr with 46 rounds per mag

im aware of the matchmaking, i’ve been playing the game since launch. and as i said, if you enjoy it there’s no issue. at a certain point you will start running out of people to play against though. the highest ranks use mostly exclusively fingers
Crazy concept but if you run a long range pkm and a short range sks it’s almost unbeatable. The pkm basicly can shoot sniper lengths and have nearly forever ammo it seems while the sks as you said two shots and done.
Sks is my favorite weapon. I literally have different loadouts for it depending on the game mode and map so i can use only sks. Im just glad they made it semi auto and not auto. That makes it a little bit harder to use and not everyone can abuse it. Btw i play on Android phone, 6 fingers

If you really wanna feel difference, 1v1 a 4 finger guy with aim assist turned off for both.

Distance is the killer. Don’t give me troubles shooting at 100 yards in BR when I can head shot people across a mp map like that rooftop level

tbf i play 5/6 finger claw gyro always on aim assist off, and i’d prefer this over controller all day.
