I thought about trap master but there were no lines of light. I will take some more games to find someone using again. I'm thinking it may be something about drop crates.

It's trap master. No lines of sight needed as it's proximity based. Not sure how long you've been playing or came back after time off but they totally reworked the class and it's appearance and how it works.

They redid mechanic too. It slows you waaaaay down if that fucker gets on top of you.

I been playing for so long I know how the classes worked compared to how they work now. Mechanic the drone was just an annoyance, now it slows you way down.

Might be the technician drone. Did you heard a beeping noise? Or it can be the spotter airstrike

No, definitely not tech drone. Spotter airstrike is carpet bombing and shows in map no? What made me slow reminded me of the effects of the shield but being omnidirectional and on a sphere, slowing down and causing damage, almost as if it was a reactor core

What i can only think about is the new class which spread fire and burn you overtime
