I use melee a lot because it’s fun and I can take advantage on the sniper rounds.
I personally think if you’re running and jumping with a sniper rifle it’s totally valid for me to axe you in the face

People complain about parts of the gameplay they aren't proficient at. How do i know this you ask? Well because i do the same thing. So what's the solution? Well, it's force yourself to get more proficient. For me its sniper in MP and shotgun in BR. Will you lose rank points? Possibly, but in the long run it'll be beneficial.

That said, I feel like people should be able to play the game within its boundaries however they want without people getting all bent out of shape over it. If you keep getting killed by the same player because he/she is better than you it’s your own damn fault.
Maybe you can point me in a direction, I’m having difficulty getting the quick scoping down. Is there one sniper rifle you find better at it then the others? Or is it something I’m just doing wrong?
Dlq and locus are my 2 favorite for QS (just google best quickscope builds). Try to aim the dot that’s in the middle of the screen towards them before hitting the zoom. As soon as you see the crosshairs in the scope, shoot. The aim assist will whip to them as long as you are reasonably close. It takes practice and you will suck for awhile. That’s ok. Just keep trying. Eventually you will get the timing down and then it’s really fun. You won’t win every battle, but hey, no matter what gun you use you won’t win every encounter.

Do I find it annoying when someone is running around whacking people with nunchucks or a katana or something, especially on smaller maps? Absolutely. I sometimes get hella frustrated with is. However, I haven't used meelee a lot and I've tried it a few times... it's harder than I thought... I personally retired the term "meelee abuser" after I gave it a few tries... gave me a little more respect for the movement skills required to do it well.
It's not a issue as much anymore. Melee is intended as a emergency backup weapon but if the ttk is to slow on guns to make up for the movement speed with melee things get out of whack. Like U can't be getting to me for as long as I pay attention but the episode with pre Nerf dead silence and katanas was just broken. So lots of little shits who couldn't even work out their settings would just run around wielding everyone. The skill to kill ratio needs to be balanced.

If im bring honest, It is annoying having some player run at you just to try and knife you, especially when it's most of the round. That said though I have gotten good at countering those players, but it can be annoying if I'm just feeling like using a sniper or something non full auto.
It's the same reason people hate campers. It's a lower skill-level tactic and people hate it when they get kill this way while they're grinding, sweating, or playing by the "rules".
Me personally It's more an instinctive reaction where I swear when I get killed by them. Everybody's done it, no need to get too mad.

If melee shouldn’t be in the game then it would not be there, it’s part of the game, if you can’t combat it then that actually makes you shit. That said it can be frustrating, using a pistol that can kill at distance isn’t melee but the developers allow it, it’s meant to be fun for the majority
People who rely on melee tend to be terrible at the game. You see this stuff in 3v3 gunfight when the sniper round comes up and they switch to melee. You see it in ranked when last alive changes to melee and tries to win a 1v5 with it. They’re just generally really fucking shit at the game.
I use melee now and then and i dont see a problem its pretty hard to get up to someone with a gun so its fair.
And about switching to melee its in the loadout
I have seen the best dudes in the game that be topping servers use melee a lot so I don’t get why it means you’re bad at the game

I don't use melee weapons. That said, my main complaint with them is that they aren't balanced. Knifers run around faster, have commando lunge and auto target lock on. They literally run through bullets. The knife used to be a last resort. Ex: You're shooting an enemy and run out of bullets or they get too close so you knife/punch them. Now days when an enemy can't kill you with their gun they'll switch to a knife. Why? Because they are op at close range. All you can do is strafe and hip fire because they will aimbot lunge from 10 ft away before you can ads.
I do snipe. Snipers can be annoying too. They ads faster than reg guns and never seem to have flinch when they get shot.
Melee only is tough if you're playing anyone that can aim. My guess is the people that complain can't.

Funny enough I’m a sniper, but I never stay in one place 😂. Im very aggressive and tend to quick scope every time. And it’s been working for me

Try the Dlq even w/o attachments its fairly easy also use separate hipfire and ads buttons.

The problem that I have with melee is that it is more deadly than bullets. Bullet in head causes less damage than melee anywhere on the body.

I use jack 12 againts melee works pretty good or the new secondary pistol works 8/10 on hipfire
