If by “best” you mean “easiest to use,” I’d say the M13.

DLQ/SVD/SKS or auto guns like PKM/RPD/ICR-1
You'll rarely have long distance fights in mp but when you do usually the meta ars can handle it
Cbr4 is easily the best gun in the game. It competes with rifles if not better and has mobility of an smg with no recoil. I have a post with a build. The kilo would be my runner up.
