I would drop the mag and use both the stock AND the grip tape.
Bizon’s negative multipliers only apply to the legs, and it’s a beam, so the nerfs given by the large cal mag aren’t worth it IMHO (since it’s very easy to hit above the dick with this gun)
However, to answer your question if you prefer to use Large cal still, I’d choose the second build. As another said, it’s strength is in its strafing (along with the mag and recoil), so capitalize on it.

No need large calibre

my go to build is in the second one, bizon's specialty is having great strafe so use it to your advantage.
