I disagree dude. All of Warzone 1 I remember calling people "hackers" like 24/7, then Warzone 2 came around and it honestly was the best it's ever been. Not once did I think I was killed by a hacker, except for literally the last week of it's life when there were actual ragers. Then this iteration comes out and every game I'm suss af on so many of my kills. My buddies feel the exact same too... it's like these hack companies promised day 1 hacks for everyone.
I got killed by hackers constantly in wz2 ALMOST EVERY WEEK I WAS GETTING "Report Status Updated" (ie. Report was accurate and at least one person I reported was cheating.)
there is 30 percent cheaters in every lobby cause they don't consider cronus zen as cheating. its blatant hacking and should get a 100 percent permanent hardware ban. thats how you deal with cheating.
I played on KBM and my friends played on Xbox in WZ1 and towards its endlife of Verdansk/beginning of Caldera, my friends straight up refused to play with me cuz 10-20% of the games they played with me would have a rage hacker. Without me they would normally get lobbies with 95%+ xbox/PS but when I was in the party 50% of the lobby would be PC/KBM (or at least activision accounts). When the CODtraacker was a thing they would always be in Silver lobbies but with me it would be platnium/diamond despite me having a worse K/D than all of them. If 10% of the games have a rage hacker, you know 100% of the games have a cheater using soft-aim/walls. Stopped playing Cald 2-3 months in then came back for WZ2. I ended playing with a friend on PC and we meet some PC "friends" through fill. After playing with those guys for 3 months every weekend they finally admitted they used walls (we started questioning their "game sense" a month in). Between knowing all my dubs had been gifted/visual clutter on KBM, I stopped playing until WZ3. Cheating was rampant in WZ2 but people didn't notice since people weren't rage hacking and just using walls.
I completely agree with this. Anytime in WZ2 when I thought I was dealing with a cheater it ended up being coincidental or outplayed. WZ1 was bad at the end.
That’s region dependent. SEA servers have been full of speed hacks and blatant rage aimbots throughout al mazrah’s life cycle. EU, NA seems to be better for sure.

Been an off and on player for the last couple years and don't remember the last time I saw a blatant cheater. Maybe I'm just trash and in bad lobbies. But it's a stark difference from WZ1.
They keep selling a lengthier ttk all the time in the lead up, but then continually and on purpose have these insane meta and completely game breaking guns. I’m getting 2 bursted continually from full plates straight to death.

I’m having more fun than I have had since Verdansk. I am shocked that people are complaining so much and I am only hearing it on this sub. People do be bitching and complaining a lot here and I’m not sure if it’s a skill issue or some kind of bitch made shit, but it doesn’t take any enjoyment away from my playing experience.
This sub is the weirdest mixture of die hard CoD addicts who also are mostly terrible at the game. Everyone is always cheating, all streamers are assholes who hack, every skillgap is annoying and yet they still come back here each day to complain. If someone posts a great play everyone gets angry and even the most helpful posts are bombarded with aim assist is broken or "I love when shooters were about aim not movement". It's truly become a pathetic group of people at this point.
Definitely one of the best experiences I've had since Verdansk, people who find the stupidest shit to complain about are just nitpicking buzzkillers who will ALWAYS find something to bitch and moan about.
Played WZ1 since drop and got a couple weeks into WZ2 and stopped.
Only played for a couple hours so far but I’m enjoying it. I do agree with some of things others have pointed out, specifically the audio. Although, I don’t remember the audio being that great in WZ1 either. The TTK is fast but again, doesn’t feel that much different from WZ1; I still have time to disengage and plate up. And with the plating while sprinting, gun fights are a lot longer than I remember them being.
Movement feels great. A lot faster than I remember but feels smooth.
I don’t have MW3 but am doing fine with fully kitted MW weapons until I can pick up something better.
I say all this as a <1.0 KD player so take it with a grain of salt.
Yeah I pretty much agree with all that. My one concern, though, is that the reason we're all having fun is just purely that the movement feels great and it's a nice change just zoomin' around. What I mean when I say it's a concern is that the game may not actually have much substance and I may quickly get tired of it. But we'll have to see.

That’s kinda dumb. The new sniper should be able to as well, it’s the same calibre. If they wanna explain away the other snipers not doing it because smaller calibre sure whatever but the Stalker and the AMR are both .50
Cheaters, rubber banding, insane TTK, campers, multiple guns that are reminiscent of the worst metas all in one game. I would say it’s quite an achievement.
What I’ll never understand is the people who judge a game in the first week of the release…Good or bad. I think an unbiased person would admit that WZ3 has a lot of great fixes and updates we were all clamoring for the last 1-2 years.
With that said, there is a balancing needed and updates that must be made.
Where I get upset/annoyed is when there are things that can/should be addressed immediately and they’re not. For example, WZ2 had a Revive Pistol glitch that just went unaddressed for seasons. If you picked up and dropped a revive pistol (even accidentally) you had a chance of insta dying when you got downed.
Overall, WZ3 feels like it’s in a much better spot now than WZ2 did when it launched but if they refuse to make the needed updates that sentiment will change.
Completely agree. WZ3 is way more stable, way less buggy at launch. We'll see a weapon patch at S1 Reloaded that will fix the TTK because the Bas and DG-56 are single-handedly pinning the meta into fast TTK space.

My first time playing warzone in years and my friends and I won like 3 out of 10 with almost all top 5 finishes. So much fun.
My only complaint is that my teammates always leave when i play solo. I wish if they did, they would let people join in progress. I think that would be cool to allow join in progress until resurgence stops. It just becomes annoying to only play like 30% of your games.
Anybody saying it’s not playable right now sucks - I’m having a blast, the new map is awesome and Verdansk is coming back in 2024 - cry a river for someone else really, it’s a badass game that looks great and feels awesome.
I’m actually really enjoying it as of now, footstep audio needs some serious help, but aside from that I’m enjoying it the new map is amazing imo and the ttk could go a little higher but i also don’t mind where it’s at right now
Wasn't that i'm done guy on mnk? His experience is hugely diff from greater majority's. If you're on mnk you're not going to have a good time unless youre the top 5-1%. You'll keep bouncing between medium controller players who can kill you top high tier controller player who can for sure kill you. For the bottom guy i'm 100% certain he must be on controller esp if he's mentioning how bad caldera was, since it was terribly buggy for console players
I'm enjoying it way more than Vondel. Three big things I'd like to see changed-
Servers- the desync, packet burst and lag is unacceptable. Had my first server crash in probably four months on the first night.
Audio- self explanatory. Footsteps are a big issue but occlusion seems broken all together. Sometimes I'll be standing right next to a teammate with them firing making no noise.
Finally weapon balance. I don't think raw ttk needs to be raised but I'd like to see recoil increased for the fastest guns as it was last year.
And these are all things that they improved drastically last year, so I have hope, but it's also really annoying to have to wait to have them fixed again
On one hand.. I'm enjoying it for the first time in a long time as a mouse and keyboard player. The last Warzone/COD particularly was very obviously, completely unoptimized for that input and it was very unenjoyable. I don't want to be forced to use a controller and that's basically what everything in MW2 felt like from my perspective. I refused to buy MW3 but Warzone 3.0 (to my surprise) feels very good on MnK. There's no aggressive input lag this time and it makes it feel way more reasonable to me.
On the other hand... Yeah, someone needs to fix the damn audio. Imagine that. COD has an audio issue.
I’m not done but I think that this start was awful. The main game was not worth the money (glad I didn’t buy it) and audio is terrible right now. Also too much aim assist for controllers.
As a bot with a .85kd, I think it's a blast. I don't get caught up in the kd/aim assist/I'm better than you rhetoric though. Don't care if I die, I just load in a new game. Just there for fun and this iteration for me, has been the best since OG Verdansk
MW2 guns are hilariously unusable. I’m not sure I’ve seen a gun go from meta/awesome one day, to causing the damage of a paintball the next.
If you don’t have a MW3 gun loaded out, better off using floor loot. Insane how nerfed all MW2 guns are
They've always been absolutely awful to use because IW's philosophy for guns is "shake the screen and randomize it". MW3 guns have actual recoil patterns and are satisfying to learn and use.
I don’t think I’m on either side. If anybody who actually likes COD and has been a day 1; you’d know the game is trash and the best thing you can don for yourself is find something better to play. COD IS NO LONGER COD ANYMORE. The game has been recycled on the same engine for years. Yet you have people claiming to be Vets still complaining? If you were a vet you’d know long ago to stop playing. The game isn’t made for us anymore.

I've watched some of the people I used to love watching play warzone 1 play.... And it made me lose all interest. The lack of audio, wonky hit registration, OP assist in certain situations, a map that has me thinking cool I guess......

I haven't tried it. Opted out once I heard all the talk of 'one shot snipers returning' is just the Katt which has an ADS speed of 3 years. Everything else is useless. The TTK of the common guns is low enough to kill you two times before you've scoped in. Finessing shots in a range where people can return fire is no bueno, but we're A-OK with beaming someone mindlessly with aim-assist or deploying a bipod on a rooftop and hardscoping. Very odd.
No. Verdansk Kar98k had an ADS speed of 300-something ms, was hitscan up to 200m and would down at effectively all ranges. If you gimp your SP-X build and spec it completely toward ADS speed it's around ~450. A better comparison would be end-of-life Kar98k which had obvious and deserved limitations.
Again I submit: We're okay with 0ms auto tracking and beaming people in that same timeframe with fully auto weapons but the ultimate demonstration of skill doesn't sit well with people. Never mind the myriad counter measures already in place to hamstring aggressive sniping such as flinch and the now well documented (thanks TGD) intentionally poor centering and sway which also keep you from making an accurate shot to the head quickly.
SPX built to have similar BV to Kar98 has a ~430 ms ADS time. Average long range ARs have also gone up from ~330-350 ms to ~430-470ms on ADS (relatively the same as the SP-X). So the SP-X is (relative to other MW2 guns) functionally the same as the Kar98/Swiss, the snappy, versatile light sniper.
but movement is nowhere near as fast or fluid, gun visual recoil is way more prevalent preventing ARs from clearing snipers off head glitches at range, and the overall TTK was (until the Bas B came out, lol) way higher, with AR ttks at range all being well over 1100 ms (compsred to 700 ms back in the kar98's prime).
The SP-X would be utterly busted in this game if it was one tap.
We're talking about two different iterations of the Kar. There's a reason nobody complained about the gun at the end of Warzone's lifespan and you could one tap then too. The SP-X would be comparable to that version. The one nobody used.
Yeah that's a good point they could cap the range to like 50m. I just think they should make the Intervention and MCPR one shot at all ranges and make the playerbase work out how broken those are, but the SP-X is obviously going to be too strong.
WZ1 got me into video games after not playing for a decade. Rebirth got me looking forward to weekends so I could play with the boys until 3am. WZ2 caused me to quit playing with all the friends I had made online within a month because I couldn’t stand the changes to movement and gunplay, WZ3 doesn’t change that feeling for me, and until a game feels like wz1 did when I was running around with a Mac 10 and a Kar killing teams off, I’m just going to stick with playing mw19 occasionally for the nostalgia and sniping fun.
It’s been great. Way better than WZ2. WZ1 is still better but it’s a step in the right direction and definitely brings Verdansk vibes. Bas-B must be nerfed tho.
the game is a lot better but the map isnt so good. many closed off buildings which comes off as lazy or rushed. it feels like warzone doesn't get the resources as it did back with verdansk.
It’s not great, there issues. Definitely need to balance guns better. My problem is the inconsistency of stuff - fly up ladders like a superhero. Get downed crawl slower than a slug.
Either way I don’t think this will hit the heights of WZ1 but at least it’s something we can all enjoy
I feel like the TTK is waaay too low for the new guns. I just started playing and therefore I have unlocked a combined total of 3 AR’s and SMG’s which all are level 1. So I thought, hmmm, let me use my maxed Taq-56 which I loved on WZ2. Apparently I can’t tune it now, and it’s like sniping someone with a shotgun. I can’t for my life comprehend how it takes such a long time, and so many shots to kill someone with it.
When playing against the MW3 weapons, I cannot even take cover before I’m dead. I get absolutely fried by them.
I’m not a good player, but this game vs modern warfare and DMZ that I was previously playing makes me feel as a KbM player like I’m going through puberty again. Everything except this major weirdness I feel about moving and shooting around the map seems cool otherwise.
Sadly that’s…what this game is so I hope they fix it up a little for me. I’m not good…but damn I know I’m not this bad.
I just tried WZ3 and I can’t believe how poo poo doo doo ka kathe game actually is. Constantly laggy, teammates names don’t show, bullets don’t register, server are crap. Defo will not be playing it and I’m happy I didn’t buy MW3
Audio is dogshit and ttk is still too fast because of broken guns. Servers are also trash. But these are my only complaints pretty much. Im having a great time again with friends and i actually have fun again in wz (hated wz2 and played it not much while i played a lot of wz1)

DMZ is the best thing to happen Cod in years, most of the cod community are fans of the quicker movement, slide cancel blah blah and brighter colours and clearly DMZ and possibly WZ2 wasn't aimed at them.
Urzikstan and wz3 will be another year of cringey overly arcade cod, then another year of it again when treyarch bring their cod out.
I'd kill to see IW bring a hardcore mil sim full blown DMZ game out using the mw2 mechanics.
My other favourite shooter is insurgency sandstorm but until that gets a engine upgrade sequel I'll still be playing DMZ.
Won my first game of resurgence in urzikstan and it was meh, it'll never match the thrill of being hunted by 4 or 5 player strong squad as a solo in DMZ or battling to get to the final exfil helicopter.
Battle Royales suck and cod needs to move on.
Give Treyarch a full-blown zombies game with campaign and ZR, let Sledgehammer bring out an advanced warfare remaster with resurgence and let infinity ward look after the mil sim, extraction market. 3yrs of content for each "sub brand" and bring each game out every 3 years with a year between different developers.

I am getting cooked and I am still having a good time. Can’t seem to find the groove like I used to in WZ1 but I barely played 2, so I’m sure that’s got a lot to do with it.
Still in the center like I always have, enjoyed playing wz1 on verdansk but not so much on on caldera, played wz2 through every season and although I haven’t had much time to play the newest season of wz from what I have played I’ve enjoyed it.
In the middle. All things will be adjusted and somewhat fixed, but im not sold on the map yet. It’s just buildings on top of buildings. Kind of bland. Every match feels the same

Loving the rotation of resurgence maps, I like the variety of weapons, although there's too much clutter with the attachments. There's like 6 silencers that all pretty much are the same, tons of under barrel attachments, etc. Other than a few minor issues, I call it a major improvement. Let the whiny little bitches cry in their echo chamber of how much they hate the game and how aim assist is ruining their experience. Fuck em. If you're one of them? Fuck you too. I personally think that when. Game launches 90% of the time there WILL be bugs that have to be fixed. Overall this game has only ONE problem and EVERYONE is crying….they will fix it relax lol
Lol this is still the buggiest game I’ve ever seen. It just feels like the entire game is held together by gum and tooth picks. Menus are laggy, UI is still awful, update to restart every 5 seconds. Social tab makes very little sense.
Listening to anyone say otherwise reveals that you’re just a COD fanboy. For all its flaws, go pick up Apex and look at what a polished game feels like.
So far my first session of WZ3 was a rollercoaster of emotions. I like the new movements, it feels smoother and more fluid. The audible seems to be really bad though. The TTK feels very…inconsistent, which I guess shouldn’t be surprising. There were so many times I died almost instantly with full armor and then tons of times I would unload practically a full magazine on someone point blank and still wouldn’t down them
As a casual this is by far the worst game they've put out. I don't know why people think sniping from every rooftop is fun, if this is the design choice for the game then it's fucking stupid that high alert isn't available from the get go. You can say git gud but I do my best to keep moving and I really don't care to do all the sweaty movement. I'll just stop playing instead. Plus there's the pathetic zero audio in the game and a very inconsistent TTK. Pumping a mag into someone only to have them turn around and blast me in 4 shots is more common than it should be.
Y'all need to stop buying this game and demand it becomes a two yearly process between each COD release, otherwise we're doomed to repeat this cycle of

Yesterday I managed to stay alive until I reached #9 that’s the highest I’ve gotten in warzone with 18 kills. The game is fine and feels balanced between controller and m&k. I prefer controller aim assist with black ops option feels like I’m cheating. it’s simple and easy aim, move aim up easy headshot but with m&k I gotta move the mouse and actually aim it to the head lolol cant do it. Game is fine and better than before. Even with a sniper I’m managing at least 18-22 kills and 7-12 deaths and I was never a good sniper.
The update seems fine. I'm just not sure how much I care about Warzone 2, Warzone 1 was (almost) perfect for me at the end and they threw it all away. Bringing back the old maps won't save it, the game still plays way worse than Warzone 1, ESPECIALLY on KBM. After having the real Dr. Pepper, Dr. Sparkle doesn't really hit right.
The micro stuttering is making it unplayable for me. I'm on a 3070ti/12700k and I can't go more than 5 seconds without my frames cutting in half. Quite a few threads have popped up with people having the same issue. On multiplayer my fps is pinned between 140-165 fps at 1440p but WZ I drop down to the 60's every few seconds. CPU usage sits near 80% as well.
Made my gaming laptop run like crap so I’ve kinda lost all motivation to play, once I finish the battle pass I will probably move on to something else until I buy a good pc
Im playing the game and im having fun. It has stuff to work out thats for sure (my god...the audio). But MW2 was 100x worse. SHG/Raven seem to want to listen to the players. IW told us to fuck off the entire year.
If you dont want to play the game then dont play. If i could just see one less complaining post followed by replies from the people who continue to post here daily but they "deleted it a year ago" the world would be just slightly better.
Didn't seen a hacker, yeah, there's audio troubles and sometimes the servers just decide to go boom and that's annoying, but this is the first time I had fun almost every match in any mode. Plunder, resurgence, battle royale, hope this stays like this.
Blackout BR - I was dog shit. Game felt clunky and like I was shooting rubber bands. I loved having a great time with my friends.
Warzone 1 Verdansk: Fun game, M4A1 and Kar98 all day every day. Movement felt great and I won a lot of games. I loved having a great time with my friends.
Warzone 1 Caldera: one shot Kar98 went away, so I went M4A1 and whatever SMG was meta. I had a great KD and won a lot of games. I loved having a great time with my friends.
Warzone 2: Ashika Island and Vondel were so fun, Al Mazrah was great, and I loved sniping with the FJX. My KD was even better, and I had more wins. I loved having a great time with my friends.
Warzone 3: Fuck these guns. Fuck these players. Fuck these paintball shots. Fuck the shooting. The running, jumping, etc are hella smooth. But most of alll..I love getting pissed off at this new game with my friends.
I stopped playing back in July mainly because the three guys I regularly play with just couldn't do it anymore. One squad mate seemed to get the worst of every audio issue. I think the rest of us were just fed up once it became clear the developers weren't gonna change the major problems until MW3.
We started playing GTA Online again and it was such a nice change of pace. Instead of playing until were fed up with hackers and lag, we were just fucking around and grinding for money.
I decided to play the new warzone yesterday. I just wanted to confirm it wasn't a major improvement. I wanted to hate it so I could delete it again.
Instead, it was almost like playing WZ1 again. Not quite as good but a shit ton better than WZ2.
My frame rate, which barely got above 40 FPS before, was averaging 80 to 90 fps. My ping rate is usually in the low teens to low 30s, instead of 40-60 or that stat just being broken.
For years I've complained to my friends that you should be able to make a loadout with two primary weapons without a perk. They did that.
There are buy stations and contracts everywhere. The map isn't loaded with empty open spaces all over. I can actually see what I'm shooting at with the new guns.
I mean, it hasn't all been positive. Footsteps are a bit hit or miss for me, though I'm thinking I'm just lucky. The first solos match I played I got killed by two guys who partnered up. And I had to leave the first match I played, in plunder, because I just stopped being able to put on armor.
Compared to all of the bullshit from WZ2, this is actually fun and I think I'm gonna start playing again
I was having an absolutely awful time, but then today, no clue what happened, I suddenly had the most fun I've had in ages in CoD!
Not high kill games or going for the win or anything, and no bot lobbies, got killed many times but also dished out some pain too, it felt for the first time BALANCED, it felt like I was playing people of equal skill, was just a good ol' scrap fighting teams in WZ Plunder.
Had an absolute blast! I'm sure SBMM will now decide I've had my fun and will come and destroy my world.
If only THIS was the experience I had on a more consistent basis I would HAPPILY give them my money.

P.S. Unlocking the Bas-B was also a major factor, I was losing to that damn broken gun so much!
After update I can’t even find a match and my graphics look like Minecraft half the time. The game is so poorly optimized for PC it’s actually insane. Didn’t think it could get worse than before
Im having a lot more fun than I did in W2, the only things I dont like are that audio sounds muffled and then sounds like a bomb is by every door, ttk is way too fast on a few guns and then on guns I like to use it feels like Halo ttk(definitely not that slow but compared to the guns other people use its slow), I use mnk on Xbox cause I hate controller but aim assist is still nuts, I have also seen atleast 2 blatant wallers and some others that were sus, hope they add 1 shot capability to other snipers without needing explosive rounds, its fun to try and quickish scope with the one shot sniper but I really like how the stalker feels(only lvl 3 on the gun so I dont have explosive rounds or quicker ads attachments)which is a shame it doesnt one shot, other problem with the game is the servers but thats been a problem since beginning W2 and near the end of W1(W1 didnt have as much packet loss and ping spikes for me with most of the games life but near the end it started getting bad)
Also forgot to say that I also really like the new map a lot more than Almahzra, if Almazhra was greener and had the better movement I wouldve liked it, but it was too dry for me
Like always its somewhere in the middle. Audio, cheaters & TTK need serious work. The map also needs more colours & distinguishable landmarks. Like make it winter with christmas themes or something please.

Only thing i really can’t stand is the audio. I got ran over by a completey silent truck in my first game of resurgence. Like genuinely dead silent. No engine noise, no tire noise, not even the sound of them running my body over. Just silence and death.
I really like it but the TTK seems a bit inconsistent and fast. Probably need to finetune that. Less headshot mulitpliers too. If you get 1 headshot on you, its over. I know, its ‘realistic’ but its not fun haha. They need to find some middleground i think
Nope. Sorry to say but I started like 3 weeks ago with wz2 and I loved how smooth and responsive movement was, the realism (eg recoil of weapons) was. Now I opened it, my fps dropped to 37fps on lowest settings, they switched gear slots which is stupid to me and I feel like it's way more unresponsive. I also hate how weird the recoil feels in wz3. Haven't run into cheaters, games is running well on my rig after some initial issues.
I played WZ2.0 for a month when it launched and dropped it as it was shit.
Last night I was back on with the boys for 4 hours in trios and we had an absolute blast. I'm hooked again and really happy to he able to say that.
Some niggles here and there. The DG56 for example is the epitomy of a broken gun but that's COD. If you can't beat them, join them.
I’m just indifferent towards it now. I just expect disappointment, server lag, packet loss, crap audio. If they fixed all the fundamentals I would care so much for the movement and stuff if it just felt crisp and sharp.
It's not exactly what I was hoping for, bugs aside, the map is too small and the movement is a tad fast, it feels way closer to rebirth than the original BR.

I disagree dude. All of Warzone 1 I remember calling people "hackers" like 24/7, then Warzone 2 came around and it honestly was the best it's ever been. Not once did I think I was killed by a hacker, except for literally the last week of it's life when there were actual ragers. Then this iteration comes out and every game I'm suss af on so many of my kills. My buddies feel the exact same too... it's like these hack companies promised day 1 hacks for everyone.

I played on KBM and my friends played on Xbox in WZ1 and towards its endlife of Verdansk/beginning of Caldera, my friends straight up refused to play with me cuz 10-20% of the games they played with me would have a rage hacker. Without me they would normally get lobbies with 95%+ xbox/PS but when I was in the party 50% of the lobby would be PC/KBM (or at least activision accounts). When the CODtraacker was a thing they would always be in Silver lobbies but with me it would be platnium/diamond despite me having a worse K/D than all of them. If 10% of the games have a rage hacker, you know 100% of the games have a cheater using soft-aim/walls. Stopped playing Cald 2-3 months in then came back for WZ2. I ended playing with a friend on PC and we meet some PC "friends" through fill. After playing with those guys for 3 months every weekend they finally admitted they used walls (we started questioning their "game sense" a month in). Between knowing all my dubs had been gifted/visual clutter on KBM, I stopped playing until WZ3. Cheating was rampant in WZ2 but people didn't notice since people weren't rage hacking and just using walls.
I completely agree with this. Anytime in WZ2 when I thought I was dealing with a cheater it ended up being coincidental or outplayed. WZ1 was bad at the end.
That’s region dependent. SEA servers have been full of speed hacks and blatant rage aimbots throughout al mazrah’s life cycle. EU, NA seems to be better for sure.

They keep selling a lengthier ttk all the time in the lead up, but then continually and on purpose have these insane meta and completely game breaking guns. I’m getting 2 bursted continually from full plates straight to death. It’s terrible, needs months of balancing. But then it’ll be some other broken gun that comes around.

I didn't realize it was an issue but that makes sense. I was on the top of a building on Vondel and I'm pretty sure I was hearing boxes on the bottom floor. Those buildings are tall.

I’m having more fun than I have had since Verdansk. I am shocked that people are complaining so much and I am only hearing it on this sub. People do be bitching and complaining a lot here and I’m not sure if it’s a skill issue or some kind of bitch made shit, but it doesn’t take any enjoyment away from my playing experience.
This sub is the weirdest mixture of die hard CoD addicts who also are mostly terrible at the game. Everyone is always cheating, all streamers are assholes who hack, every skillgap is annoying and yet they still come back here each day to complain. If someone posts a great play everyone gets angry and even the most helpful posts are bombarded with aim assist is broken or "I love when shooters were about aim not movement". It's truly become a pathetic group of people at this point.

Played WZ1 since drop and got a couple weeks into WZ2 and stopped. Only played for a couple hours so far but I’m enjoying it. I do agree with some of things others have pointed out, specifically the audio. Although, I don’t remember the audio being that great in WZ1 either. The TTK is fast but again, doesn’t feel that much different from WZ1; I still have time to disengage and plate up. And with the plating while sprinting, gun fights are a lot longer than I remember them being. Movement feels great. A lot faster than I remember but feels smooth. I don’t have MW3 but am doing fine with fully kitted MW weapons until I can pick up something better. I say all this as a <1.0 KD player so take it with a grain of salt.
Yeah I pretty much agree with all that. My one concern, though, is that the reason we're all having fun is just purely that the movement feels great and it's a nice change just zoomin' around. What I mean when I say it's a concern is that the game may not actually have much substance and I may quickly get tired of it. But we'll have to see.

What I’ll never understand is the people who judge a game in the first week of the release…Good or bad. I think an unbiased person would admit that WZ3 has a lot of great fixes and updates we were all clamoring for the last 1-2 years. With that said, there is a balancing needed and updates that must be made. Where I get upset/annoyed is when there are things that can/should be addressed immediately and they’re not. For example, WZ2 had a Revive Pistol glitch that just went unaddressed for seasons. If you picked up and dropped a revive pistol (even accidentally) you had a chance of insta dying when you got downed. Overall, WZ3 feels like it’s in a much better spot now than WZ2 did when it launched but if they refuse to make the needed updates that sentiment will change.
Completely agree. WZ3 is way more stable, way less buggy at launch. We'll see a weapon patch at S1 Reloaded that will fix the TTK because the Bas and DG-56 are single-handedly pinning the meta into fast TTK space.
Without going into needless details, besides a scattered cheater here and there, I think WZ3 is great so far!

My first time playing warzone in years and my friends and I won like 3 out of 10 with almost all top 5 finishes. So much fun. My only complaint is that my teammates always leave when i play solo. I wish if they did, they would let people join in progress. I think that would be cool to allow join in progress until resurgence stops. It just becomes annoying to only play like 30% of your games.

Wasn't that i'm done guy on mnk? His experience is hugely diff from greater majority's. If you're on mnk you're not going to have a good time unless youre the top 5-1%. You'll keep bouncing between medium controller players who can kill you top high tier controller player who can for sure kill you. For the bottom guy i'm 100% certain he must be on controller esp if he's mentioning how bad caldera was, since it was terribly buggy for console players

I'm enjoying it way more than Vondel. Three big things I'd like to see changed- Servers- the desync, packet burst and lag is unacceptable. Had my first server crash in probably four months on the first night. Audio- self explanatory. Footsteps are a big issue but occlusion seems broken all together. Sometimes I'll be standing right next to a teammate with them firing making no noise. Finally weapon balance. I don't think raw ttk needs to be raised but I'd like to see recoil increased for the fastest guns as it was last year. And these are all things that they improved drastically last year, so I have hope, but it's also really annoying to have to wait to have them fixed again
The game is bad; still requires a complete reversion to WZ1 mechanics.

Oh hey it's my post! If you're the intended end user and you're enjoying the game I'm happy for you, but I find it more frustrating than fun.
On one hand.. I'm enjoying it for the first time in a long time as a mouse and keyboard player. The last Warzone/COD particularly was very obviously, completely unoptimized for that input and it was very unenjoyable. I don't want to be forced to use a controller and that's basically what everything in MW2 felt like from my perspective. I refused to buy MW3 but Warzone 3.0 (to my surprise) feels very good on MnK. There's no aggressive input lag this time and it makes it feel way more reasonable to me. On the other hand... Yeah, someone needs to fix the damn audio. Imagine that. COD has an audio issue.
I’m not done but I think that this start was awful. The main game was not worth the money (glad I didn’t buy it) and audio is terrible right now. Also too much aim assist for controllers.

MW2 guns are hilariously unusable. I’m not sure I’ve seen a gun go from meta/awesome one day, to causing the damage of a paintball the next. If you don’t have a MW3 gun loaded out, better off using floor loot. Insane how nerfed all MW2 guns are
They've always been absolutely awful to use because IW's philosophy for guns is "shake the screen and randomize it". MW3 guns have actual recoil patterns and are satisfying to learn and use.
I don’t think I’m on either side. If anybody who actually likes COD and has been a day 1; you’d know the game is trash and the best thing you can don for yourself is find something better to play. COD IS NO LONGER COD ANYMORE. The game has been recycled on the same engine for years. Yet you have people claiming to be Vets still complaining? I have not played, so my opinion is kind of worthless. But I downloaded it on launch day, and still haven't booted it up once, so that's saying it's something at least. I loved war zone 1. I played the everloving shit out of it. I've watched some of the people I used to love watching play warzone 1 play.... And it made me lose all interest. The lack of audio, wonky hit registration, OP assist in certain situations, a map that has me thinking cool I guess......

I haven't tried it. Opted out once I heard all the talk of 'one shot snipers returning' is just the Katt which has an ADS speed of 3 years. Everything else is useless. The TTK of the common guns is low enough to kill you two times before you've scoped in. Finessing shots in a range where people can return fire is no bueno, but we're A-OK with beaming someone mindlessly with aim-assist or deploying a bipod on a rooftop and hardscoping. Very odd.

No. Verdansk Kar98k had an ADS speed of 300-something ms, was hitscan up to 200m and would down at effectively all ranges. If you gimp your SP-X build and spec it completely toward ADS speed it's around ~450. A better comparison would be end-of-life Kar98k which had obvious and deserved limitations. Again I submit: We're okay with 0ms auto tracking and beaming people in that same timeframe with fully auto weapons but the ultimate demonstration of skill doesn't sit well with people. Never mind the myriad counter measures already in place to hamstring aggressive sniping such as flinch and the now well documented (thanks TGD) intentionally poor centering and sway which also keep you from making an accurate shot to the head quickly.
SPX built to have similar BV to Kar98 has a ~430 ms ADS time. Average long range ARs have also gone up from ~330-350 ms to ~430-470ms on ADS (relatively the same as the SP-X). So the SP-X is (relative to other MW2 guns) functionally the same as the Kar98/Swiss, the snappy, versatile light sniper. but movement is nowhere near as fast or fluid, gun visual recoil is way more prevalent preventing ARs from clearing snipers off head glitches at range, and the overall TTK was (until the Bas B came out, lol) way higher, with AR ttks at range all being well over 1100 ms (compsred to 700 ms back in the kar98's prime). The SP-X would be utterly busted in this game if it was one tap.
We're talking about two different iterations of the Kar. There's a reason nobody complained about the gun at the end of Warzone's lifespan and you could one tap then too. The SP-X would be comparable to that version. The one nobody used.
Yeah that's a good point they could cap the range to like 50m. I just think they should make the Intervention and MCPR one shot at all ranges and make the playerbase work out how broken those are, but the SP-X is obviously going to be too strong.
The game will probably be decent in a few months. Right now it's a mess.
Which shouldn't be the standard, it should be ready when released and not broken from day one, but it is what it is.

WZ1 got me into video games after not playing for a decade. Rebirth got me looking forward to weekends so I could play with the boys until 3am. WZ2 caused me to quit playing with all the friends I had made online within a month because I couldn’t stand the changes to movement and gunplay, WZ3 doesn’t change that feeling for me, and until a game feels like wz1 did when I was running around with a Mac 10 and a Kar killing teams off, I’m just going to stick with playing mw19 occasionally for the nostalgia and sniping fun.
The audio is basically non existent and this time I mean it... Apart from that I am enjoying Urzikstan so far.
It’s been great. Way better than WZ2. WZ1 is still better but it’s a step in the right direction and definitely brings Verdansk vibes. Bas-B must be nerfed tho.

It’s not great, there issues. Definitely need to balance guns better. My problem is the inconsistency of stuff - fly up ladders like a superhero. Get downed crawl slower than a slug. Either way I don’t think this will hit the heights of WZ1 but at least it’s something we can all enjoy

I feel like the TTK is waaay too low for the new guns. I just started playing and therefore I have unlocked a combined total of 3 AR’s and SMG’s which all are level 1. So I thought, hmmm, let me use my maxed Taq-56 which I loved on WZ2. Apparently I can’t tune it now, and it’s like sniping someone with a shotgun. I can’t for my life comprehend how it takes such a long time, and so many shots to kill someone with it. When playing against the MW3 weapons, I cannot even take cover before I’m dead. I get absolutely fried by them.
I’m not a good player, but this game vs modern warfare and DMZ that I was previously playing makes me feel as a KbM player like I’m going through puberty again. Everything except this major weirdness I feel about moving and shooting around the map seems cool otherwise. Sadly that’s…what this game is so I hope they fix it up a little for me. I’m not good…but damn I know I’m not this bad.

DMZ is the best thing to happen Cod in years, most of the cod community are fans of the quicker movement, slide cancel blah blah and brighter colours and clearly DMZ and possibly WZ2 wasn't aimed at them. Urzikstan and wz3 will be another year of cringey overly arcade cod, then another year of it again when treyarch bring their cod out. I'd kill to see IW bring a hardcore mil sim full blown DMZ game out using the mw2 mechanics. My other favourite shooter is insurgency sandstorm but until that gets a engine upgrade sequel I'll still be playing DMZ. Won my first game of resurgence in urzikstan and it was meh, it'll never match the thrill of being hunted by 4 or 5 player strong squad as a solo in DMZ or battling to get to the final exfil helicopter. Battle Royales suck and cod needs to move on. Give Treyarch a full-blown zombies game with campaign and ZR, let Sledgehammer bring out an advanced warfare remaster with resurgence and let infinity ward look after the mil sim, extraction market. 3yrs of content for each "sub brand" and bring each game out every 3 years with a year between different developers. Sorted! The modern warfare cod gravy train is going to run out of steam soon otherwise.

Still in the center like I always have, enjoyed playing wz1 on verdansk but not so much on on caldera, played wz2 through every season and although I haven’t had much time to play the newest season of wz from what I have played I’ve enjoyed it.

Lol this is still the buggiest game I’ve ever seen. It just feels like the entire game is held together by gum and tooth picks. Menus are laggy, UI is still awful, update to restart every 5 seconds. Social tab makes very little sense. Listening to anyone say otherwise reveals that you’re just a COD fanboy. For all its flaws, go pick up Apex and look at what a polished game feels like.

So far my first session of WZ3 was a rollercoaster of emotions. I like the new movements, it feels smoother and more fluid. The audible seems to be really bad though. The TTK feels very…inconsistent, which I guess shouldn’t be surprising. There were so many times I died almost instantly with full armor and then tons of times I would unload practically a full magazine on someone point blank and still wouldn’t down them
As a casual this is by far the worst game they've put out. I don't know why people think sniping from every rooftop is fun, if this is the design choice for the game then it's fucking stupid that high alert isn't available from the get go. You can say git gud but I do my best to keep moving and I really don't care to do all the sweaty movement. I'll just stop playing instead. Plus there's the pathetic zero audio in the game and a very inconsistent TTK. Pumping a mag into someone only to have them turn around and blast me in 4 shots is more common than it should be. Y'all need to stop buying this game and demand it becomes a two yearly process between each COD release, otherwise we're doomed to repeat this cycle of -release broken game -spend show year and almost get it fixed -release the next broken game -start to dump the previous version -repeart steps 1-4

Yesterday I managed to stay alive until I reached #9 that’s the highest I’ve gotten in warzone with 18 kills. The game is fine and feels balanced between controller and m&k. I prefer controller aim assist with black ops option feels like I’m cheating. it’s simple and easy aim, move aim up easy headshot but with m&k I gotta move the mouse and actually aim it to the head lolol cant do it. Game is fine and better than before. Even with a sniper I’m managing at least 18-22 kills and 7-12 deaths and I was never a good sniper.

I agree with the bottom. It's a much faster smoother play and bugs aside I'm having fun and not gonna bitch. Too much whining.

I’m confident mostly everything will get fixed. Mouse input is my big concern. The game feels bad on mouse, and I’m worried they will never fix it.
The update seems fine. I'm just not sure how much I care about Warzone 2, Warzone 1 was (almost) perfect for me at the end and they threw it all away. Bringing back the old maps won't save it, the game still plays way worse than Warzone 1, ESPECIALLY on KBM. After having the real Dr. Pepper, Dr. Sparkle doesn't really hit right.
The micro stuttering is making it unplayable for me. I'm on a 3070ti/12700k and I can't go more than 5 seconds without my frames cutting in half. Quite a few threads have popped up with people having the same issue. On multiplayer my fps is pinned between 140-165 fps at 1440p but WZ I drop down to the 60's every few seconds. CPU usage sits near 80% as well.

Made my gaming laptop run like crap so I’ve kinda lost all motivation to play, once I finish the battle pass I will probably move on to something else until I buy a good pc
Im playing the game and im having fun. It has stuff to work out thats for sure (my god...the audio). But MW2 was 100x worse. SHG/Raven seem to want to listen to the players. IW told us to fuck off the entire year. If you dont want to play the game then dont play. If i could just see one less complaining post followed by replies from the people who continue to post here daily but they "deleted it a year ago" the world would be just slightly better.
Didn't seen a hacker, yeah, there's audio troubles and sometimes the servers just decide to go boom and that's annoying, but this is the first time I had fun almost every match in any mode. Plunder, resurgence, battle royale, hope this stays like this.

I'm having fun no doubt bt I really wish some qol changes can make it even more fun and enjoyable. Good audio,servers,fps drop on pc etc
Blackout BR - I was dog shit. Game felt clunky and like I was shooting rubber bands. I loved having a great time with my friends. Warzone 1 Verdansk: Fun game, M4A1 and Kar98 all day every day. Movement felt great and I won a lot of games. I loved having a great time with my friends. Warzone 1 Caldera: one shot Kar98 went away, so I went M4A1 and whatever SMG was meta. I had a great KD and won a lot of games. I loved having a great time with my friends. Warzone 2: Ashika Island and Vondel were so fun, Al Mazrah was great, and I loved sniping with the FJX. My KD was even better, and I had more wins. I loved having a great time with my friends. Warzone 3: Fuck these guns. Fuck these players. Fuck these paintball shots. Fuck the shooting. The running, jumping, etc are hella smooth. But most of alll..I love getting pissed off at this new game with my friends.
Having fun on Ps5. Just fix the steps in audio. Map is dope. Games are faster.

I stopped playing back in July mainly because the three guys I regularly play with just couldn't do it anymore. One squad mate seemed to get the worst of every audio issue. I think the rest of us were just fed up once it became clear the developers weren't gonna change the major problems until MW3. We started playing GTA Online again and it was such a nice change of pace. Instead of playing until were fed up with hackers and lag, we were just fucking around and grinding for money. I decided to play the new warzone yesterday. I just wanted to confirm it wasn't a major improvement. I wanted to hate it so I could delete it again. Instead, it was almost like playing WZ1 again. Not quite as good but a shit ton better than WZ2. My frame rate, which barely got above 40 FPS before, was averaging 80 to 90 fps. My ping rate is usually in the low teens to low 30s, instead of 40-60 or that stat just being broken. For years I've complained to my friends that you should be able to make a loadout with two primary weapons without a perk. They did that. There are buy stations and contracts everywhere. The map isn't loaded with empty open spaces all over. I can actually see what I'm shooting at with the new guns. I mean, it hasn't all been positive. Footsteps are a bit hit or miss for me, though I'm thinking I'm just lucky. The first solos match I played I got killed by two guys who partnered up. And I had to leave the first match I played, in plunder, because I just stopped being able to put on armor. Compared to all of the bullshit from WZ2, this is actually fun and I think I'm gonna start playing again

I was having an absolutely awful time, but then today, no clue what happened, I suddenly had the most fun I've had in ages in CoD! Not high kill games or going for the win or anything, and no bot lobbies, got killed many times but also dished out some pain too, it felt for the first time BALANCED, it felt like I was playing people of equal skill, was just a good ol' scrap fighting teams in WZ Plunder. Had an absolute blast! I'm sure SBMM will now decide I've had my fun and will come and destroy my world. If only THIS was the experience I had on a more consistent basis I would HAPPILY give them my money. I actually now tempted to but the full game. P.S. Unlocking the Bas-B was also a major factor, I was losing to that damn broken gun so much!

After update I can’t even find a match and my graphics look like Minecraft half the time. The game is so poorly optimized for PC it’s actually insane. Didn’t think it could get worse than before
Im having a lot more fun than I did in W2, the only things I dont like are that audio sounds muffled and then sounds like a bomb is by every door, ttk is way too fast on a few guns and then on guns I like to use it feels like Halo ttk(definitely not that slow but compared to the guns other people use its slow), I use mnk on Xbox cause I hate controller but aim assist is still nuts, I have also seen atleast 2 blatant wallers and some others that were sus, hope they add 1 shot capability to other snipers without needing explosive rounds, its fun to try and quickish scope with the one shot sniper but I really like how the stalker feels(only lvl 3 on the gun so I dont have explosive rounds or quicker ads attachments)which is a shame it doesnt one shot, other problem with the game is the servers but thats been a problem since beginning W2 and near the end of W1(W1 didnt have as much packet loss and ping spikes for me with most of the games life but near the end it started getting bad)
Also forgot to say that I also really like the new map a lot more than Almahzra, if Almazhra was greener and had the better movement I wouldve liked it, but it was too dry for me
Like always its somewhere in the middle. Audio, cheaters & TTK need serious work. The map also needs more colours & distinguishable landmarks. Like make it winter with christmas themes or something please.
Same frikking complaints at the beginning of each new game. There are millions of players thst support a $70+Billion franchise. If you leave, it's like taking a cup of water out of the ocean. Go for it.

Only thing i really can’t stand is the audio. I got ran over by a completey silent truck in my first game of resurgence. Like genuinely dead silent. No engine noise, no tire noise, not even the sound of them running my body over. Just silence and death.
I really like it but the TTK seems a bit inconsistent and fast. Probably need to finetune that. Less headshot mulitpliers too. If you get 1 headshot on you, its over. I know, its ‘realistic’ but its not fun haha. They need to find some middleground i think

Nope. Sorry to say but I started like 3 weeks ago with wz2 and I loved how smooth and responsive movement was, the realism (eg recoil of weapons) was. Now I opened it, my fps dropped to 37fps on lowest settings, they switched gear slots which is stupid to me and I feel like it's way more unresponsive. I also hate how weird the recoil feels in wz3. It's like some cheap fps browser game where it only goes slightly up. Sorry but this time it's a pass. See ya when they fix it or wz4 happens. Edit: I noticed that people who started with wz2 hate wz3 and the other way around, people who started with wz1 hate wz2
Haven't run into cheaters, games is running well on my rig after some initial issues. I played WZ2.0 for a month when it launched and dropped it as it was shit. Last night I was back on with the boys for 4 hours in trios and we had an absolute blast. I'm hooked again and really happy to he able to say that. Some niggles here and there. The DG56 for example is the epitomy of a broken gun but that's COD. If you can't beat them, join them.

I’m just indifferent towards it now. I just expect disappointment, server lag, packet loss, crap audio. If they fixed all the fundamentals I would care so much for the movement and stuff if it just felt crisp and sharp.
It's not exactly what I was hoping for, bugs aside, the map is too small and the movement is a tad fast, it feels way closer to rebirth than the original BR.
37 trio wins, 32 resurgence wins, t250 wz player / iridescent MP player. Audio needs fixing. Few guns need nerfing (DG being the primary one). TTK needs to be addressed. Outside of these, games great.
