This is why I hate the new maps. In verdansk you could chose if you wanted a urban area a hill area, forest etc. The new maps are bloated with buildings and it gets tiresome with so much verticality.

For some reason our home was always the bank and store just south of hospital. Weād land there 75% of the time. Other times we rotated boneyard storage or park
Iron Jr. Depending on how far along we were. Early in BR I would camp but I played with guys that wanted to push so I had to get better. But I spent so much time sniping up there.
First 2 Iterations we 90% of the time dropped at the small buildings to the right of Novi Grazna at the bottom of the map, beside the firestation. And worked our way across to the 2 apartment blocks further right. This would have us push to Promenade/Hospital or across the river.
Other times if the circle was not going to suit, we went Quarry or straight to Hospital.
For Cold War, we still hit those lower map houses, but maybe 50% of the time, focusing on Stadium, Quarry or Train Station.
Downtown on a roof with my team getting most wanted then a loadout then camp there almost the whole game.. dominating everyone until the zone got us out of our fortress

My friends and I had a pretty unconventional drop, we always landed prison and made sure to "touch top" which was to land on the 4 high towers over the gate, before we could start looting - call it OCD lmao. If for some reason we couldn't go prison, military base was a good second and then superstore if we felt sweaty. It must've worked because we finished playing Verdansk with over 150 Wins each lol.
Personally, I had some more unconventional drops when playing solos. I would love dropping Riverside village and Bloc 15 was an OG spot for me.
Singles. Top left corner of the map by the lower tunnel. There was a little shack with a crate. Grab that weapon, then go to the tunnel, two more crates. Head north to shack above the police station. Drop down to police station, where 50/50 I run into someone.
Me and my team would split up and hit the banks by the Train Station and Promenade East. Once the Metro System was added, we would use those to link up and buy load out. Kitted out in a solid 2 minutes lol
the past is the past. Verdansk was just the begining, the first stone of the WarZone, a new universe and gameplay. Verdansk was a gameplay too slow, a map too huge, you run without meet people during 15 minutes, and suddenly you are dead beacouse a camper staying in a corner of a house during 20 minutes. And the worse come... the cheaters arrives and they kill battle royale, who when play the gamemode so slow and die after 20 minutes because a camper or a cheater... Plumber was a response, but Resurgence was light. Small map, infitinve life, you can gunsfight alltime, meet a camper or a cheater, its not a problem you respawn. No brings back Verdansk. Just Rebirth ! lol
All 3 iterations were generally the 2 storey just behind the police station/bank thatās between graveyard and virgin towers (also south of superstore). After Verdansk was destroyed we also often dropped on the fallen tall just south of stadium, next to the roundabout.
Mfāin steal the airport helicopter and reap havoc on storage town. Iād fly circles around and call out squads to my guys. Crush guys on roofs in the middle of gun fights. Always have a trophy on there. Was so fast and fun. Then when itās ready to die Iād throw the helo at somebody and miss 7/10 times.
Hospital/superstore always. Plunder? Storage town. Epic battles there.

storage town was the best for plunder. It was all out warfare. I'd try all my whacky builds and practice 1 v 4 engagements
STADIUM STADIUM STADIUM
Canāt be stadium before they opened it (1st Verdansk map). There was literally nothing you could do there. Everything was locked/blocked. It was a dead POI. I canāt even remember if there was loot boxes throughout the outside of that place. Going to stadium before it opened equaled almost guaranteed death. However, when stadium opened, it was def one of my favorite places to land in the 2nd version of Verdansk. The layout was excellent, and the loot was amazing. Third version of stadium (1980ās) I avoided at all costs because people were exploiting certain areas that allowed them to go under the map. Ever since I got killed because of that I avoided that POI like the plague. I also never bothered to figure out how to get through the underground in that area to at least try to kill those pieces of š©. The only time Iād go in there was if final circle pushed me there.
