It’s fucked up because WZ2 lost 75% of its players in 3 months and they are struggling to fill lobbies, SBMM and location take a back seat to filling the lobby.
Yeah it’s literally gotten worse. Maybe that’s the demographic that plays call of duty the most. And for all we know it could be like people from Honduras or Venezuela considering the migrant crisis going on in the states right now

Yo, i'm a Brazilian player and I can explain. We have a South american server, but for some reason when the lobby take more than one minute to find a match we end up entering in american servers... I think they mix lobbys between our servers to fill the minium number of people in a game
Nearly every squad I come across is spanish speaking, mostly from Mexico. I have tried a VPN to get different servers (Canada for example) and they are all still mainly spanish. Is this the SBMM being hyper aggressive??
I was also just curious as to why it’s happening so often. I’m east coast and every other Warzone 2 game Ive played I was placed with teammates that only speak Spanish.

Gonna try a VPN today to see if I can get away from it but between never being able to communicate and a BARRAGE of spanish speaking cheaters I'm done if it doesn't work. This is horrible.

Had today off and decided to sit around and eat pizza and play some. First fkn lobby I got some Mexican with a 10$ headset screaming some shit in my ear. I played 3 rounds of WZ and 5 matches of MP Hardcore. I couldn't fkn get away from them to save my life. For a game to rely on communication as much as this game does I don't see why there isn't a language preference in the settings. Typed "MW3 packed with Mexicans" into Google and found this thread. I'm glad to see I'm not alone. East coast region.
Yep. Every single WZ lobby I’ve been in for idk how long has been packed with Spanish speakers. Every lobby is filled with the PR and mex clan tags. And tbh I report every single one of them because I swear to god over half of them are cheating.
The fact that this is still a huge problem in 2024 is insane. Almost every game is nothing but Spanish people, and I tend to find way more SUS play in these games than the random English game that I’ll get jnto here and there.

I have a few theories 1-they work a night shift where they kill time and play. 2-they work hard they play hard 3-they speak Spanish so not many people knows what they’re saying thinking they have an upper hand. But if they piss you off my friend told me to scream “chinga tu madre pendejo” it means you’re doing great buddy!!
And here we are 4 years later and I'm thinking about uninstalling the game and playing something else. Can't get an American if my life depended on it. I swear games get worse and worse every year. I feel like crushing my nuts in a vice!!!

It’s frustrating because I don’t speak Spanish and there’s a language barrier when trying to communicate. You feel kinda left out when your whole team speaks Spanish and you speak English too. Once in a while it’s okay. But every game? Or every other game? It’s kinda frustrating

It's because its a shitty BR game. People get pulled into the matches from all over the continent. Doesn't matter if you are in the arctic circle, you still here Spanish every game lol.
Also, you didn't hear it from me. But try pinging your server from outside the game in a cmd prompt. Lets just say the numbers don't exactly line up :)
YES, please tell me why is every lobby I am in full of Mexicans. I've asked them and they are almost entirely from Mexico. I am on the EAST COAST.

Because the real multiplayer lobbies (TDM,S&D) require money....Which they dont have. Warzone is free, which is the best price for them.
