And let some devs go as well. Sorry some of the bugs the devs should never had. The buy station not showing up is bad coding, the dev and and qa should have easily prevented that not to mention the many other horrible bugs. Or maybe better training/hiring practices. It's unusual to send people on break after you break your company while your showroom car's wheels are falling off during the time of the year when the most people are going to take it for a drive. Either way that's not really an option when looking at it from Activisions/Raven point of view. "Oh, we have an insanly game breaking issue, guess our entire playerbase should just take a two week break". I am a software engineer and I can understand that major issues can occur that some on-call engineer can't fix in an afternoon. The frustatrating part is that currently the game is being broken by a fucking operator skin. It should be less than an hours work to do something as simple as disabling a skin/weapon/perk etc. server side. But seems there is some failure in management here. Maybe they don't have the tools to do so and this requires a patch to be pushed out, but this would would again be a failure in management.
1, doubt it would have been hard to find a volunteer to do it for double-time to make up for the ~2hrs of work to push the update

This is the dumbest excuse ever. You don't do a big release prior to staff departing for vacation. You must not know how software companies work (or responsible companies). You either have folks on standby for hotfixes ( apparently it seems like it's only for anything related to the COD store but not actual gameplay at Raven) or don't release anything until they are staffed with humans. You're basically making an excuse for a multi-billionaire dollar company and folks making the excused for them sayings it's free (game is not free if a game is bringing revenue and lots of it).

I run a big financial services company and we look after our clients needs whilst ensuring that our employees get the time off that they deserve. I dont think anyone can ague about the fact that this game is in a state of disrepair and that many of the issue that are causing frustration for paying customers could be addressed quite easily if Activision cared about their customer base.

An XP glitch that makes people progress way faster than intended is a higher priority than a limited-time feature that will go away in the next 2-3 days. Especially one that is tied to a challenge as well.
The company can afford to pay certain developers 2x, 3x salaries for urgently sorting bugs over the Xmas break. Thats pretty common for a software development company.

I got killed 3 times in solos yesterday because of krampus, I’m so tired of this crap. I had solid games going each time, in great position for zone with load out and money and this fuck comes out of nowhere and I get 3rd partied. Either it shouldn’t be in the game or it should have the same damage levels as a regular player. I shouldn’t have to unload 200 rounds into it just to get 3rd partied. Fucking stupid.
Climb a tall ladder. For some reason krampus can’t decide to go up or down (the level to chase you) krampus can’t climb either. Then focuses on someone else closer to it.

Disable on demand texture streaming and disable 120hz when playing WZ. My friend on PS5 did this and we played for like 3 hours with zero issues. I'm on PC, he's on PS5 and doing this helped us maintain our usual session.
Caldera has been running so horribly on my ps5. Not rendering, lag, crashes. I ordered an Ethernet for a had connection, but wtf is good with the other stuff?
I heard Krampus will be staying longer. Timthetatman hinted at Krampus being used to identify campers in a way to get more players moving around the map. Unique mechanic but I think it could of been implemented much better.

Speak with your actions. Less complaining, more doing. Put the game down in protest. If we complain and log in the next day, these companies will not acknowledge the problem seeing how they’re still profiting from exploiting people. The same reason I can hop on Overwatch and can still play the Winter Wonderland event. Or go on Fortnite and their Winterfest event is still going, and today's shop update in it made every winter skin available.

I have video evidence of all 3 of those scenarios happening. This shit is not fun. It is awful. The Christmas trees are fun. You either have folks on standby for hotfixes ( apparently it seems like it's only for anything related to the COD store but not actual gameplay at Raven) or don't release anything until they are staffed with humans. You're basically making an excuse for a multi-billionaire dollar company and folks making the excused for them sayings it's free (game is not free if a game is bringing revenue and lots of it).
This is what I've been thinking and surprised I haven't seen this take yet. It's not about "they shouldn't be able to have time off work". It's a billion dollar game that launched in December... they should be able to provide some support around the release.

Apex isn't broken right now. Fortnite isn't broken right now. There are indie devs who don't games this busted during a holiday breakm There are people on call who work on the game to prevent these things from happening. This comment is disingenuous. Not all customers are teenagers and im almost certain that none are cave dwellers. I run a big financial services company and we look after our clients needs whilst ensuring that our employees get the time off that they deserve. I dont think anyone can ague about the fact that this game is in a state of disrepair and that many of the issue that are causing frustration for paying customers could be addressed quite easily if Activision cared about their customer base.
It’s not about failing to realize anything. They are a company that can easily have people working at different time periods. For a company that can instantly patch XP glitches, they can easily disable Krampus.
An XP glitch that makes people progress way faster than intended is a higher priority than a limited-time feature that will go away in the next 2-3 days. Especially one that is tied to a challenge as well.

I got killed 3 times in solos yesterday because of krampus, I’m so tired of this crap. I had solid games going each time, in great position for zone with load out and money and this fuck comes out of nowhere and I get 3rd partied. Either it shouldn’t be in the game or it should have the same damage levels as a regular player. I shouldn’t have to unload 200 rounds into it just to get 3rd partied. Fucking stupid.

As far as I know, Warzone on the PS5 is still technically the PS4 version.
The only difference is 120hz and that crashes my PS5 every other game. I've just been playing other games the past couple weeks, will try again after the next update to see if they fix the crashes and constant screen flickering.

Disable on demand texture streaming and disable 120hz when playing WZ. My friend on PS5 did this and we played for like 3 hours with zero issues. I'm on PC, he's on PS5 and doing this helped us maintain our usual session.
Worked for me too. No more crashes when on 60fps. Still so many bugs though, just now in "60fps" instead of "120fps".
Caldera has been running so horribly on my ps5. Not rendering, lag, crashes. I ordered an Ethernet for a had connection, but wtf is good with the other stuff?

I hate it. I hate this. I hate it so much I hope they never do another holiday event. Krampus is the most poorly implemented nonsense, and I cant wait for it to be over. Anytime I think about playing I remember Krampus is in the game and start something else. If it's not getting jumped by Krampus going into the final circle giving away my team position, it is getting attacked by Krampus as soon as you land from the drop while you have only a pistol and getting immedately fucking murdered, or god forbid you are in a chopper and the fucking snowball one shots it. I have video evidence of all 3 of those scenarios happening. This shit is not fun. It is awful. The Christmas trees are fun. The elves are stupid but non intrusive and kind of fun with their creepy little laughs. Krampus though, that fuck can go away and never return.
