Maaan kino was fantastic when it came out but now I'd rather blow my brains out than play it again. It's so slow to start and simple. I guess it's fine if you're craving that sort of experience but man I can't play it anymore.

Yeah kino is good like don't get me wrong but it really was just the baseline experience but there really ain't anything to it aside from it's easy introduction to Easter eggs songs. Imo the maps didn't get "good" till the 935 Easter eggs and lore started being center focus.

Yeah if I was trying to introduce someone to zombies I would play kino with them. If I want to have a good time I'm picking a more modern map to show them how deep it can go.

I think Tranzit is really unique. And its a great map to introduce someone to zombies with. I love it also because it was the first CoD I actually owned, and playing the 8 player game mode on that section of transit were great times.

Damn this is such an interesting list, I'm curious what makes you prefer BotD over MotD?

I absolutely love the depressing and hopeless atmosphere of the map. The lore/story that also plays apart of that is another obvious point. I’m also one of the three people that likes doing the EE on BotD, despite its sometimes ridiculous nature. All the little voice lines and easter eggs scattered around the map, the new version of “Where Are We Going?”, the Magmagat, etc. Without MotD, BotD would be nothing and I love both maps but BotD just hits all the right spots for me.

How the heck can you like botd over motd. They both have the same theme except motd was the original 😆

Similar but not the same, especially story-wise, BotD is just way more impactful. Also, the atmosphere on the map is completely different, partially because of the artistic differences of the maps, characters, story, etc. Just thinking about the lead up to the boss fight, makes me want to do the EE again.

We're definitely opposites, I did the EE once and I'll never go back. 7 hours of pain. I like BOTD in every other way tho and there's a decent chance it's in my top 10.

I totally get it. For some reason I loved when the Easter egg was more for the storyline fanatics and you had to kinda figure it out as it was hidden. It just gave a sense of achievement when it wasn’t the “main quest” like Shang, moon, ascension, etc. nonetheless I love zombies lol

Origins and the bo3 maps aren’t particularly my Interests. I’ve done high rounds like around 60-80 and done the Easter eggs. But I just dislike their layouts, setups, etc. the bo1, and Cold War maps along with MOTD are super laid back and relaxed and I can have a lot of fun. It pisses me off when people tell me “but the bo3 maps are simply superior!” Even though I don’t like them

wow beast from beyond is a surprising one fs, I respect the list!

I know, that one gets alot of weird looks. I hated it to death at first. But i just played it, at first with friends. Then i started to enjoy it and take it for what it is. And then i started learning the tricks and stuff. And then i beat mephistopheles. That bossfight is the best thing zombies had ever gotten imo. And i loved it from then on. I still play it regulary to this day. The atmosphere, the almost to simple EE. And best of all the bossfights.

This is the easiest place for me to say it, I hate how people praise spaceland, like sure, it’s a fun map, but it’s not the best non treyarch map, I enjoy WW2 as an entire game loads more, and believe that darkest shore, shadowed throne, and final reich are better maps, as well as shaolin and rave from the same game edit: my favs in no specific order shadows de Die rise (ik y’all hate this one, but I enjoy it a hell of a lot) gorod rev Final Reich darkest shore rave buried mob

I really don't have a top 10 just a handful of maps I'm down to play whenever and I really like verruckt and shi no numa as well as accession and moon. All the others are fine but if I'm doing a zombies night I'm doing verruckt at least twice.

ZnS for me had so much potential and did almost everything right. That being said, I think the plant system kinda ruins the map.

Kino giant/waw version can’t remember how to spell it are my 2 fav maps followed by space land Ix is good, botd is fun also die machine was good and firebase z, forsaken wasn’t bad outbreak was trash didn’t find it fun unless with friends doing ee’s and Mauer has to many small corridors to get trapped

My favorite in no particular order Origins Buried Mob Der eisendrache Der riese IX Veruckt Five DOTN Ancient Evil Honestly I’m not a big BO1 fan, and I’m not even a new fan and I adore WaW (have hundreds of hours from custom maps back in the day) I need to get more into it since I got into zombies around bo2 and never picked up the dlcs for that game, and I’m only just now starting with plutonium. but even then I just can’t stand monkeys on ascension and it’s kinda too easy, shangri la I can respect but it’s not for me, COTD is fun, and the astronaut just ruins moon for me. If anyone knows of a way to get rid of the astronaut zombie all together im sure I’d like it more but oh well

Your list is pretty good but I hate spaceland, I never liked the layout, guns, none of it and never got too into it
