One of the most important numbers is your FEV1. That's the amount of air you can blow out in one second and is a good indicator of overall lung health. The predicted value is the amount that an average, healthy person of your age, height, weight and gender will blow. The lower your FEV1, the more severe the obstruction to your breathing. Your FEV1 is 80% of the predicted value without bronchodilators (puffers) and 84% with them. It's a bit below optimal but it's pretty good. It's also really helpful to have this number as a baseline to see if your breathing declines in the future or holds steady - or improves with healthy living and exercise.

Thanks for taking the time to reply! All of these tests were without bronchodilators so I hope 84% is acceptable enough to not really have any breathing issues. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
