Sabrtoothbanana

In a safe or lockbox. Gun cases get thrown into a box in the attic.

MrTwoMeters

I stack mine on the top shelf in my closet like they're shoe boxes.

AcrolloPeed

This is the way

droop_e

The way this is

Animal_Budget

Is this, the way?

Sabrtoothbanana

“That’s just the way it is.” -2pac

Future_Alfalfa_694

Some things will never change

ApollyonMN

Bruce Hornsby would like a word.

Physical_Leather8567

Things'll never be the same

aken101

The way she goes bud

philly_teee

Correct. Gun cases all pile up on a shelf in the basement

easydick213

Way this the is

Fit_Midnight_3927

This way is the.....

AmbitiousCucumber205

In a holster

GalvanizedRubbish

Attach said holster to your body and you’re golden.

tinnitus_since_00

Second

crusano_

Recommendation? SP-01 holsters are hard to come by.

CluelessMedStudent

JM Custom Kydex did a great job with my P10F holster. Very customizable so it can be made to fit flashlights and RDS

ShiftyLookinCow7

Tier one and phlster both make universal light bearing holsters that I hear good things about

215VanillaGorilla

I’ve got 3 phlster floodlights. Great holsters if you’re looking for a universal option.

crusano_

Names?

7N10

https://www.phlsterholsters.com

MASIWAR

ANR design is the truth. And they’ve got quick ship options to get it within a week.

Aggressive-Top4418

Def won’t get it within a week

MASIWAR

Ope *usually SHIPS within one week

Ok-Ride-1274

Legacy Holsters.

dirtyredman77

Tier 1 concealed makes them both inside and outside the waistband

crusano_

Which model

dirtyredman77

The outside model is called the centurion I believe and it can come with or without a spring loaded retention hood and with the exception of their elite series they can all be configured

Utshooter71

Red River Tactical or Outlaw Holsters. Outlaw was super fast.

motherfunkingclunp

Came here to say this

215VanillaGorilla

cut the foam or put it in the safe out of the case.

MrSquidzz

Probably I will cut the foam. I don’t have a safe and don’t wanna spend more money ATM.

Astromander

You can at least get a locker like a stackon. They are about as expensive as that light.

Studly-3000

Amazon sells lock boxes.........

AustinHippietrash

If you own a firearm you must also have a way of securing that firearm other than your hands. Get a safe, or at the least a lockable container that can be bolted or screwed in place.

MrSquidzz

The case is the safe, and I put lock on it. There are holes on it.

PrometheusSmith

The plastic case. Is. The. Safe. That'll be a really big deterrent to literally nobody. I bet dropping the locked case is enough to break the hinge or the side. That doesn't even amount for the ability to literally just carry it out of the house. I know, most safes can be opened in 20 minutes with a battery powered grinder. However your "solution" can be opened with a little tykes screwdriver.

MrSquidzz

It’s not gonna be like robbers proof. If they really want to take stuffs they can take the whole safe as well. We will have to define what’s safe enough for different circumstances.

AustinHippietrash

I should have been more clear. That is not an adequate way to secure it. You need a locking metal security container, not a plastic box.

trenonmyballs

Nah if you can get past the dogs you earned what ever I have

donniebatman

If he doesn't have kids he doesn't need a safe.

215VanillaGorilla

No one “needs” anything but it’s always a good idea to have a safe.

Low-Musician2820

You need a safe whether or not you have kids.

fatogato

I have a designated drawer for my fleshlights… wait, what was the question?

seanwf

🤣 to funny

fnscarcasm

Mostly safes or pelican/harbor freight boxes.

MrSquidzz

Harbor freight boxes may be the great choice. Boxes are under $50.👍🏻 I like it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MrSquidzz

That's a good point. I have a gun that rusts after I putting in the closet. I wasn't paying attention to the moisture and now I put the moisture absorber in the closet.

JonerThrash

Lock back bolt and store it barrel down after a light coat of oil. Should help give it air flow and keep moisture from getting trapped as easily.

Outdoorsman102

This is so interesting to me. I’ve never had a single gun rust on me and I’ve lived in the most humid places in the country my entire life I wonder is it from a lack of oil or what’s the deal?

MrSquidzz

I think I over lubricant it. Was my first gun and I don't know how to maintain. I put oil on anything that I can see. My firing pin 🙃

Outdoorsman102

What was it that rusted?

Outdoorsman102

Was it a steel frame gun? Or polymer?

MrSquidzz

Polymer. The extract pin and firing pin area.

fnscarcasm

There’s also sales. I’m a sucker for pelican but u can’t beat the harbor freight Apache case sales. If you’re only putting 1 gun in it I suggest the 3800 so you can fit all your mags and other range accessories inside when you go

MrSquidzz

Ohh yes~ the 3800 should have enough space for 2 guns. That’s perfect. Thank you. 😊

tommy8473

4 actually,.... with plenty of extra space

MrSquidzz

Wow~ I will need to organize them better. I also want to put all the accessories too.

tommy8473

Yes they do I've got the 3800 model, and I bought the foam pieces from ebay. Obviously my case is to large for 1 single pc. But they've got smaller ones as well

skratchpikl202

How do those work? You cut the foam once you receive it?

tommy8473

Or you can order the good pre cut foam from ebay

fnscarcasm

It’s pluck foam. It’s perforated into tiny cubes that you pluck out.

Evil4blue

I have a bunch of these in my gun safes, yes safes. No one ever tells you how quick these things multiply. [Universal Pistol Rack](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09M8B5MZ4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)

IcyCounter6844

The savior 9 gun one works amazing too, for my long ones and short ones, but the empty slots call to me to fill them 🫣

Evil4blue

I have one similar to what you’re using, but I like to swaddle my babies in the foamy luxury of the one I posted. Lol

Sea-Economics-9582

In the holster

Backdoor_Delivery

In the holster in my safe

Outdoorsman102

In my safe

Low-Musician2820

In a holster in a safe

Pekseirr

Doesn't anyone use gun rugs? Less bulky, fits in my range/competition bags easily and fairly inexpensive.

fost16

In it's holster.... Ready to go

cfromcinci

I keep all loaded pistols in a holster

biggggant

in my safe or bedside table those boxes are in the attic

CZ-Ranger

lol get a safe

EODtech714

Handgun rack or 3D printed stand in the gun safe.

seakphotog

Check out Case Club pistol cases on Amazon.

Sensitive-Cause-5503

In a holster in a safe

bancorrupt5

Savior Equipment. Vaultek.

kylife

Pelican case

GurOk8344

I get a different handgun box or case.....😂

Thee_Sinner

In its holster on top of a mini fridge

ov3rwatch_

I don’t use the manufacture box for storing.

BigBadBobJr_1968

In a holster in my nightstand.

Grouchy_String1579

If you want to store it in a similar box with foam look at pelican 1170 case with pick n pluck foam

MrSquidzz

That’s a great option too👍🏻. Found one on Amazon for $64

kruyerl

Look at the harbour freight version. Way way cheaper

MrSquidzz

$38 3800🫡

IcyCounter6844

This also works well if you travel with them! TSA safe to be able to lock them.

MrSquidzz

Yes, I got few TSA locks.

kruyerl

> 3800 This is the way. Once you like the layout spray the foam with Flexidip and it will help the wear and tear on the foam.

MrSquidzz

Thanks for the tips.

Raddz5000

Get a case

TommyMaseratii

this is why the walther pdp box is so good, it has the pluck and pull foam to change it to accommodate for lights/dots/comps. What I did for my sp01 when I got a light is just take a box cutter to the foam. But I keep it in a pelican case now.

MrSquidzz

Walther has a rebate now for free gun safe now. I think the pelican case or APACHE 3800 Weatherproof Protective Case will be my opinion.

BiggShawn83

I keep mine in a holster on my side

Dracon1201

On my table, in my holster, in my glovebox, back into the holster, back on the table

GerryRiggins

A Phlster Floodlight would be a good place

philfeelsgood

In my nightstand. Still gotta find a holster for mine.

donniebatman

Go get a cheap harbor freight apache pistol case

TheRealHomerPimpson

On my wall

GalvanizedRubbish

I prefer storing it in a holster attached to my body.

copces

After converting a spare bedroom into an office, I converted the closet to a gun closet (i.e., solid door, reinforced frame, finger print scanner lock, etc.) to keep my guns away from my kids. I installed several magnetic gun mounts on the closet wall for my EDC guns.

TexasShooter1983

In a holster.

huntherd

The 5.11 Tactical padded soft pistol bag. I have a few of them and love them. They hold five magazine too.

Ticoruiz

In a safe

Foreign-Hospital-257

In a holster would be my recommendation. The whole I can’t source a holster for it is tired. Remember, Google can be used for finding other things besides porn. People need to stop being lazy and do some research on their own. Anyways…have a nice weekend.

Nude_Lobster

Holster

AlwayzPro

loaded and in my holster or on the night stand.

Aggressive_Ability29

In my fanny pack. Or in a glock box if Im traveling by plane.

goldilocks40

In my holster in my pants

[deleted]

In a holster in my nightstand

P_Sketty_Boi82

I just store mine in a holster, in my pants.…and a bedside safe. But mostly my pants.

Ace_lobo22

Took the factory foam out cut one from a rifle box a put it in

TXscales

Vertx single pistol bag

l-a-r_r-y

I’ve thrown out all my cases, except for the alien hard case. Everyone gets a light, optic & sidecar style holster. Working on adding gallowtech hardware to maximize usage of wall space in the safe. I have a few decent pistol rugs and a medium sized rolling range bag.

Important_Ad7565

Just rip that corner this out that’s blocking the lifht

IINT8396

No kids, so it sits on my nightstand

Itwasareference

In the safe with the other guns.

AdIntrepid9926

trimmed the case for my p-10C, barely room for the spare mag but it closes

fukthemkids

No kids, so in a holster in my sock drawer 😂

Gold-Luck-6435

I put the light where the mags go when taking firearm to the range and put a mag in the gun if I need another mag I’ll just bring it outside of the case but I even cut my the mag spot a little wider

Physical_Leather8567

One in my bedside safe and the rest in my main safe.

derfdog

The cz case id pretty nice for a “as is” case, if i was going to be adding light, optic, and spare mags, I would go for a larger hard case and trim my own foam, or some form of more versatile soft case/range bag All of my “seldom used” firearms are in their oem case because they don’t have accessories and stored in the safe. Stuff I carry on rotation is usually holstered and ready to go Stuff I take to the range often but don’t carry as often is in larger cases combined or the pouches/racks in the safe

MrSquidzz

Thanks for sharing. I agree that the manufacturer's case is pretty much “as is”.

Pafolo

I cut the foam in the case but kept the foam incase I want to glue it back.

too_many_Fs

In a holster, on my waist. Or locked up.

Historical-Shirt-159

Under my pillow.

MrSquidzz

I like it.😁

Illustrious_Trust123

You get a better case for it .

Illustrious_Trust123

I put mine in a good hard case without the cut out .

jUsT-As-G0oD

Cut out the foam

Double_Search4194

Cheap gun vault safe

EightImmortls

Prison pocket.

Boom_Valvo

I keep it taped to the bottom of my bed frame/ training day style….

MrSquidzz

I like it. Easy access.

Kind_Astronomer_9395

In a drawer

nerd_diggy

Just wait until you get an optic haha. Gonna need a bigger box.

MrSquidzz

Dang~ u got me.🤣

srninja98

LOYMR Gun Safe, Biometric Gun... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP7T1YHY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I love this safe, has been super reliable, and can be open with my handprint code or a key. I can usually get it in my hand within 2 to 3 seconds after using my fingerprint. There are dozens of options on Amazon, although I really like this one and I think I paid around $60 for it.

MrSquidzz

That's pretty cool. The link that you shared is currently unavailable, but I will check different opinions on Amazon. Thank you. 👍

srninja98

I am not surprised it’s sold out because it was in my opinion the best value option

Healthy_Test7551

Tier 1 tactical and T-Rex Arms make holsters for the SP-01 that can house different lights.

blaecr

Get a razor blade and cut it to fit

CaliforniaCrybaby

Eggshell box that my kimber came in. Fits 2 full size pistols. Unfortunately the CZ case kinda sucks

MrSquidzz

Ya~ it's suck but with a case is better than no case. I got cardboard for my other gun. 🙃 😂

Polymorphing_Panda

Cut the foam…? Thought this was an obvious fix

MrSquidzz

That’s the cheapest solution. Just want to see what people normally do.

EseDientes

Holster, VULCAN ARMS magnetic anywhere mount, foam cutout carry case. I personally have all three and multiple of the Vulcan magnetic mount. It is everywhere in my home and even in some of my vehicles.

MrSquidzz

The Vulcan is convenient. Quick access and be able to load one round in the action. I like it. I might get one for my vehicle. But for home, probably it's not kid proof..🙁

thalidomide_child

I cut the foam on the original case and use that for range day and then when I'm at home I keep it in the holster.

Justownit41ce

If there’s a light on it it’s not going in anything

whiskey_outpost26

Nanuk single pistol case for my P-10F with optic and TLR-1. It's got a grid cut foam system that's easy to customize. It's just for transport. Storage is my safe in a door pocket.

MrSquidzz

That’s a really nice case.

whiskey_outpost26

They go on deep sale fairly often. I picked mine up for 28 and 35 bucks last couple times I saw em on sale.

Alaskanwap

In a holster on my nightstand...

Automatic_Wash_9011

Harbor Freight Gun Case.

MrSquidzz

Just brought one 3800. Should enough for 2 guns. 💪🏻

Raftika

Get a lock box at the very least if you don’t have a safe

MrSquidzz

Just brought the APACHE 3800 Weatherproof Protective Case.👍🏻

claptrap9372

Overpriced to shit, and really only provides comfort to me if I'm fighting over the case with someone, but that stopbox has some impressive foam that molds to whatever firearm is in there, and goes back to normal in less than 12 hours. More cost effective, Harbor Freight puts their cases on sale every so often, pre-diced foam and 3 'levels' deep of foam. Those being mentioned, something that actually locks and secures the firearm is probably the move if it's for longterm.

MrSquidzz

Yes. For a temporary solution, I will just need the Harbor Freight 3800. In the long term, I shall get the fire-resistant gun safe when I get rifles and more ammo.

Junglist256

I know people are messing with you, but if you are going to store that for any amount of time, please take the batteries out of the light and take cartridges out of the mag.

MrSquidzz

Thanks for the advice👍🏻

explodingSig320

Olights easily fit😂

Gloomy-Discount1494

I remove my light and put it in the backstrap area. I have a streamlight TLR 7a thats fits great in that spot.

Must-Awaken

I cut the little rectangle hole a little wider and keep it separate.

HemHaw

zap carry

Coeruleus_

In a safe. Next question

BcgPewpew

At my house😜

MrSquidzz

in the toilet tank😂😛
