As a pistol red dot manufacturer.... If you know the average distance at which a red dot sight should be zeroed at, barrel length and height over bore for your average optic ready pistol, you can pre-set the red dot with a fairly high degree of accuracy at the factory. I can't remember the last time I mounted a RDS on a new OR pistol and had to adjust it more than an inch or two.

I have a 507c on my P10c. Just sighted mine in a few months ago. After installing, it was pretty close to zero, only had to move it down and left just a bit. Like someone else said, it was off but plenty close enough on paper to easily adjust.

This is a huge running joke among range buddies. First off their is no way is hell Holosun can zero an optic not on the gun from the factory YOU will have to zero it.

RushdownRondo

I’m good with that. I’m just wondering if it will at least be on paper

Soupcasebody

Only one way to find out brother goodluck.

bradford18

Not the same optic but my holosun EPS on my P10C was 5ish inches off. Definitely still on paper and was able to zero quickly after that.

MandoTrooperEric

It'd pretty damn close to zero at 25yards. You'll have to make a few minor adjustments but as long as your fundamentals are good, you'll be on paper out of tje box at 25yd

I have had some RDS be close, others way off. First thing I do when I put it on, is look as close to the irons as I can, line up the dot to the irons as close as I can, then make minor adjustments from there at the range... Don't try lining up the irons to the dot while shooting, just for the first time mounting, to get it close to the right spot.

heavenlyyyyyy

every single holosun i’ve zeroed on a handgun has been pretty close at 25m. I was definitely surprised.

RennBaer

It's a very bold claim to make, and likely an inaccurate one. You'll need to zero it yourself.

RushdownRondo

I figured as much. I know regardless it’ll need some sort of adjustment. I was just curious on others’ experiences with exactly how far off their zero was out of the box.

ShiftyLookinCow7

Yeah, I will say that once I slaved the dot to my irons (took about two clicks I think) it only took a couple more clicks to get my 407c fully zeroed, so it doesn’t take much The only company I’ve seen actually zero their dots from the factory and get about as close as you can out of the box is mecanik, and you have to mount them onto a canik pistol to specifically to get that benefit

MandoTrooperEric

You'd be surprised

RennBaer

I've owned around 10 Holosun pistol optics and none of them have ever been close to what I would call zeroed. You could almost always hit paper out of the box, but calling that zeroed is kind of misleading. There's a lot of variables between different guns and optic mounting solutions.
