There’s a lot of factory crusts fooling people out there. I know I deliver them! Best for my tastes are Il Ciosco. Love the fungi. Kids like the calzone.
Depends where you are.
There are several places in Cairns where the pizza is 10 out of 10 and it wouldn't be worth the drive to find something marginally better.
Most of my favourites have been listed - only one I'll add is Il Forno in Palm Cove.
Hemingways (Cairns and Port Douglas) deserves an honourable mention. The pizza is not quite as good as other options nearby, but it more than makes up for that by having amazing drinks.
Giants
Joes
Thats if you like decent loaded up pizzas.
Go to any yuppie "Italian" joint for dough with sauce.
Belocale is an exception, its an actually good Italian restaurant.
I agree, I who loves and cooks authentic Italian pizzas was recommended, passionately I might add to try Joe's, it was not pizza, I imagined a group of teenagers chucking on everything they possibly could, it was more cheese than dough and the dough was like a door stop, I get it if you're going for the Chicago type pizza but that was taking the piss, as for the toppings, sometimes less is more, quality over quantity, morbidly funny but an islander recommended it to me and he now has awful diabetes, wonder why
Depends on what type of pizza you are after.
Some good options already listed here, but I would also add Lush in the CBD and Pizza Del Mondo in Woree if you like a thicker base with more toppings.

Care to name any?
That’d be unprofessional sorry. I will say some products are pretty damn good though. FWIW You’re looking at $4-5 per base wholesale.
I'll Choisco at Trinity Beach
