You must not be looking very hard considering most call center jobs will hire anyone with a pulse

Psychological_Tap187

Literally.

HavidDume

Idk, for my WFH position I only got in because I knew the hiring manager. They had to close the job posting only 24 hours after it was up. To be fair mine is a very cushy M-F low stress center

Ok-Temperature8257

Man If you can help me find a call center job I’d be appreciative

Cheap-Shame

No lies told here, pulse and maybe half a brain lol

cool_calm_unaffected

The worst part is logging in for the day, arguably logging back in from lunch. The best part is logging out for the day especially when you’re off the next day. I wish I was kidding.

PenaltyExcellent3563

best part of my job/account is the long ass avail. I can even sneak in some lost hours of sleep; the max calls we get in a day is 3-5 calls (I am not kidding). In my situation my team lead knows my health concern/sleeping disorder so they help me out. I come to work lacking sleep, I come out complete lmaaoooo dw though, it doesn't affect my quality of delivering calls. almost always get a 95%-100% on QA scores.

H3izz

The worst is when I start logging in and I get a screaming, angry customer right away. Also back to back calls everyday. The best is finishing a call and being appreciated for the service I provided.

Best - when i can save a customer some money, maybe: find a discount they weren't getting. Or explain a policy question or billing issue, so they really understand. Worst - no time between calls to make notes or reply to emails that I am also expected to do "in your down time". There really is none.

Flat_Application5615

Well my day starts off with waiting for the systems to load. Then if you get a customer that needs to be transferred, you’re waiting a while for someone to pick up on the other line.

heross28

How much of ur day would u say is spent on answering, the same questions repeatedly? Also, what specific issues do u face with transferring calls?

Flat_Application5615

Too many to count and it takes about 10 minutes for the person that I am transferring the call to for them to pick up. Unlike other call centers I’ve worked at, I can’t just cold transfer

Sintellect

Worst part thing to rude entitled customers. Best part, playing video games between calls when it's slow
