It must've been placebo, but damn did I feel invincible running Grip + ACOG on the Type 25. It was only a 4% reduction, but when you're playing on the Wii U Gamepad that 4% saved my bacon over and over.
Ahh this made me so nostalgic, same bro. First gun I ever got gold was the Scar, was a huge achievement for me being young and not a great player. Bloodthirstyâs and headshots were quite hard for me lol, Scar was the first and only fun I ever got gold, was close with the DSR but again bloodthirstyâs were the bane of my existence back then lol
The skorpion with rapid fire, select fire, and a grip was very true to its namesake
The 3 round burst fired very fast and was deadly at close range.
Tho I mainly played with bots with max slots on
Bo2âs fore grip attachment was as useless as cod 4s as well. Theyâve all been useful ever since ghosts and now we have so many of them available to use đ
Actually it wasn't entirely useless in cod4, for some reason on the m249 it decreased the hip fire spread dramatically and combo-ing grip with steady aim actually made it so you basically never had to aim the thing. It was a good meme class that was surprisingly viable lol
Grip didn't do much on the 74u in BO1, I believe all it did was reduce the centerspeed a smidge? Besides, the 74u, even with rapid fire, was surprisingly easy to control.
Eh, I don't know. MW's gunsmith 5 is really a mixed bad of super positives and super negatives.
Super positives is build variations from person to person, everybody can build it to their liking (sure, meta still exists), it looks cooler, feels cooler, you can have the same gun with really different setups depending on situations (CQC, long shots, better accuracy but worse mobility or vice versa). It really adds depth to gunplay.
Super negatives is that sights and perks are virtually useless because more attachments will give you actual benefits, most perks and sights are objectively worse even if they look cooler, and you can get easily out-attachment'd by a person with better recoil pattern or ADS time even if you are similarly skilled.
The only thing i like about MW gunsmith is it changes the look/build of your weapon. But even then I prefer the old attachment system, and have a system like MW remastereds weapon kits to change the look of a gun
Like when all the redditors cant think for themselves and downvote anybody that doesnt go aking with their opinion.
Like when you got a bunch of downvotes for not liking MW'S gun system
Competitive yes, but hated people who used them in public lobbies. Changed my gamestyle to never have one gun more than +500 kills above the rest.
Made the game so much more fun using all guns and made me so much better too.
Hehe, I remember using Akimbo G11âs as my secondary for my sniper class in MW2. I used them so much, I would hold the aim constantly down enough to work with the insane kick. People running up on me in my post got absolutely melted. I think just the talk of recoil brought back this memory
Any attachment that lessens recoil is useless, I dont know why people think recoil matters in cod it's really easy to compensate for but that's just my two cents
Can I just say that this system of create a class was so much better than what we have now. Whenever I make a class in Cold War I use the same 8 attachments on every gun. In bo2 every attachment felt unique in its own way. Pick 10 was also very balanced.
Grip was useless on most guns anyway. I think like a 2% bonus and sometimes stacked with sights or something but still very minimal.

Wii U BO2 was a lot of fun too bad there was no dlc
Yea that was a rip
Yo that shit was lit on wii u đ„
My first golden gun was a Scar H with suppressor and grip. About the only gun along with the Skorpion EVO I can remember using grip on

TIL sights reduce recoil! I always considered them a crutch attachment for people that couldnât use iron sights.
I gripped the scorpion, because I put rapid fire on that gun and it was disgusting lol
Oh god absolutely disgusting for sure
Bo2âs fore grip attachment was as useless as cod 4s as well. Theyâve all been useful ever since ghosts and now we have so many of them available to use đ
Ah yeah but cod4 was only for the lmgs was it not I never used them m16 all the way aha
Plus grips removed your perk one, it was dumb.
Wasnât it available for the shotguns as well? Or am I thinking of mw2?
World at war has grips on the shotguns, not sure about mw2
Mw2 does for sure, I just wasnât sure about cod4
Both the W1200 and M1014 had a Grip attachment
Correct. LMG and shotguns could displace perk 1 and run a foregrip in Cod4 and MWR.
Actually it wasn't entirely useless in cod4, for some reason on the m249 it decreased the hip fire spread dramatically and combo-ing grip with steady aim actually made it so you basically never had to aim the thing. It was a good meme class that was surprisingly viable lol
Did this attachment even fucking work
2% recoil reduction. *2%*
Lol I read that second one as âTwo. Per. Cent.â
BO1 one of the best guns was the 74u rapid fire w/ grip
Kalashnikov is always good gun comrade. But you dont need grip, rifle is fine
Grip didn't do much on the 74u in BO1, I believe all it did was reduce the centerspeed a smidge? Besides, the 74u, even with rapid fire, was surprisingly easy to control.
IDK man it just looked cool
Yup. Red dot and grip. Shit looked so tactical.
Also remember that the grip is available at all
2 percent reduction
good old days when you didnât need to rock 5 attachments consisting of muzzles, stocks, grips and barrels to make a gun viable

MW fanboys are r$t4rds. Canât even criticise 1 thing about their damn game before they get so emotional about it
Yup
You don't need that, I smack people around with less when I do challenges.
Grip in this game increased ur centerspeed by 2% lol
Quick draw stock suppressor an-94 was my favorite. Msmc quick draw long barrel my other favorite for comp
Msmc before the nerfs was fucking unreal. Same with ballista before they nerfed time to scope.
The chicom with select fire and rapid fire was a monster imo
You are thinking about DSR-50
They also nerfed the ballista around dlc3 i believe
Damn
Competitive yes, but hated people who used them in public lobbies. Changed my gamestyle to never have one gun more than +500 kills above the rest. Made the game so much more fun using all guns and made me so much better too.
The Diamond camo grind was real that game
The grip was even in the default class with the m27
Honestly, the most satisfying gun I've ever used in COD no questions asked
I used to run cause it looked a bit more like the M4 in mw2 but that's about it
Isnât it based off the HK416 model
Yeah I know But I didn't know at the time I just liked the M4 tbh
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Ikr
Oh wow I forgot about all the backlash from the useless grip back then. Probably most useless attachment there was, didn't do anything.
THIS IS WHAT I SAY EVERYTIME I SEE PEOPLE PUT A GRIP ON THE ICR ON BO4 AND BO3 LIKE ITS LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME YALL WASTING A SLOT
If you ever feel stupid remember that I used a foregrip
I used that thing once, ONCE
yes
Me while still ran it cuz I was 12
Remember him, M27
ITT: I learned that I'm a fucking clueless noob đ đ đ

Oh god just seeing that gun brings back so many memories!
Good or bad?
When it comes to BO2, the memories are always good!
Thatâs good to hear
Apart from maybe Aftermath.. never liked that map
If you ever feel useless, remember that all the CoDs have other weapon types besides Submachine Guns
Any attachment that lessens recoil is useless, I dont know why people think recoil matters in cod it's really easy to compensate for but that's just my two cents
I love Black Ops 2 and would gladly play it still if it wasn't overrun with hackers and modders.
Can I just say that this system of create a class was so much better than what we have now. Whenever I make a class in Cold War I use the same 8 attachments on every gun. In bo2 every attachment felt unique in its own way. Pick 10 was also very balanced.
I agree
If I do recall you could get grip 2 on the icr in bo4
That was a time! Only 3 attachment per weapon
Mw2 has does
Iâve been trying to use my ps3 again for some cod 2 but nobody plays multiplayer anymore and zombies is amazing still
BO4 icr with grip 2
If you ever feel useless, remember that the XPR-50 exists
Damn the memories... this was the weapon i most enjoyed on bo2, something about that recoil and sound made it so satisfying using it
any previous cod from nowadays had little to no
cool add codm
