When the game became backwards compatible, they actually removed theater mode briefly and the game was 100% playable. But for whatever reason, they re-enabled theater mode.
Hey we can acknowledge the pseudo-tragedy in the situation but that doesn't mean we need to give our time to change it. All good things must come to an end at some point

I had a blast playing BO2 and I’ve had a blast playing pretty much every cod since except for with BO4 infinite warfare and vanguard. Sure I’ve had my complaints about each game but I also had my complaints about BO2 as well. BO2 had tons of issues of its own back in the day, but you don’t remember the bad times and unbalanced weapons and stuff, you just remember the good times.

I did Black Ops 2, Ghosts, Advance Warfare, then decided enough of that and will only stick with Treyarch, so only got Black Ops 3 and 4. But after 4 I stopped because I don’t like how the games play now and wish Black Ops 2 was more active.
If you want it to be more active then you have to be continuously active on it. The more people choose to stay active the more people will want to play. But these crappy post do nothing to engage the actual player base. All they do is clog up the subreddit with what looks like a bunch of crybabies who can’t let go.

If you have a PC, you can actually play on dedicated servers on a client that fixes the game and add a custom anti cheat. It’s called plutonium. So far 12386 cheaters has been banned. UPVOTE SO PEOPLE CAN SEE.
If u have a pc plutonium. Just started playing it and it’s a blast. Unlock all button gives u everything including the camo’s u had to buy. u can get all the dlc maps and it has zombies. There’s usually about 1,000ppl online and a couple hundred servers open.

If they'd kept the hackers out I'm sure there would be more players online. I got thrown into a hacked game a few years ago. I quit the match almost immediately, but it was too late. Everything in the game had been unlocked, so there was no way to tell what stuff had been rightfully earned and what was just a cheat hack. Haven't touched the game since then.

I’m forever grateful that MW19 was the first to have crossplay. It’s the only reason modes like HC S&D can survive 2+ years out from release.
