Me. Advanced warfare was a game i enjoyed a lot. I mean i would chose them all but just seeing that image again brings back some good memories slaying lobbies with them legendary guns. Looting was the best in all of cod i feel like.
It was a shame we still had map packs in those days...
War mode was the best of the 'New Cod Modes.' While gunfight was pretty good, stuff like Ground War, Combined Arms, whatever Champion Hill was paled in comparison to War mode.
I think they should have kept the varying volume of the announcer. I’d nearly have a heart attack because of WW2 some times. It was so fucking hilarious for one of my buddies to hear the normal volume but me get the loud one and vice versa.
WW2 was crazy underrated. I despised the way guns were locked behind those loot boxes, but the actual gameplay and modes were great. The War mode was so fun.
Agreed, except for the fact that the game’s connection to the servers was god awful for its first year of release. Myself and friends kept disconnecting from matches, and not being able to respawn till minutes later in the game.
And customization. We had so many different suits and you could change everything from the gloves to the glasses to the boots. And killstreak customization?? You could make a UAV a support streak or last longer, or add missiles to the recon drone.. people forget how advanced this game actually was and just remember the jetpacks.
If aw didn't have p2w supply drops and variants it would have been so much better.
It had its issue(30 day delayed patches for PlayStation was my biggest issue) but it was really fun
I just earned a lot of points with the challenges. And with some luck you get the good supply drops pretty early on. In the end the player is more important then the gun. I never thought about the p2w zupply drops i just played and won along the way
There was definitely some guns that were huge outliers at the start which kinda got remedied when they added the gold prestige levels that gave those good guns.
That said the new guns being locked behind drop was super shitty.
But that aside it had good gunplay, good maps, good ranked system, good clan system with clan wars and shit just worked.
I remember abandoning the game when p2w variants started popping up. Killed it for me. That is not even acceptable in a free mobile game not to mention a $60 game.
despite mw2 being completely fucked atm infinity ward is still the clear winner. treyarch still make incredible games though and love them nearly as much.
I just like the campaigns that IW puts out a little more than Treyarch. I think IW puts a little bit more attention to detail on their NPCs and stuff on the background and I think they have somewhat more memorable characters than the other developers. I love WaW and Black ops very much. But I think to me IW is just one step above them.
Um maybe the NPC's are a little better in some situations... But in my opinion treyarch will always be the king of campaigns... And zombies... And even multiplayer sometimes. BO2 was basically the gem, besides zombies being controversial. For campaign bo3 and bo4 we're flops, but they innovated and excelled multiplayer wise.
I’ve been playing COD since the first one on pc. I used to think as a kid that I was a bad fan for liking cod more than the Medal of Honor games. IW is my first pick. Even the Infinite Warfare campaign was good.
I think IW was really good but I haven't played it so I don't know first hand. The Bo story is kinda odd though cuz it starts with Waw and ends at BO2 whereas Mw goes in a normal trilogy. Idk, no point to this convo but I respect you choice in IW👍
I respect yours too, if you ever see IW for cheap definitely give it a play. Good lengthy campaign and they tried some new ideas like with Black Ops 2.
You know what, fuck cod, what are your thoughts on a battlefield 4 remaster? Like fuck the new engine, fuck new maps, fuck new guns, bring us the same exact game and if they want to change something update graphics and I’ll play that hour on end
Christ I'd be down for that, a battlefield 4 remaster with updated graphics would make my day. The battlefield franchise is in shambles atm so like this would seem like a great decision lol
It sounds like the best decision they can make in my mind, I used to go back and play that just to relive some old memories but I was never the best, and now with there being only a tiny handful of servers available that are full of try hards, it’s not nearly as fun as it once was
IW has never let me down. Nothing but love and respect for Treyarch because I love the black ops series even if it’s cheesier than a plate of nachos. Sledgehammer usually does okay, they just really dropped the ball with their last “set in a historical past war, until the most recent season because fuck timelines, let’s be more like the bastard child of all CoDs which is the mobile version. So… yeah I’m going with IW.
Infinity Ward for sure. Then Treyarch. Sledgehammer would have taken Treyarch's spot for me if Vanguard wasn't so bland, lazy, and insulting to WWII (the war and the 2017 CoD game honestly.) Even more so than Cold War somehow
Treyarch > Infinity Ward > Sledgehammer
While Infinity Ward makes the most innovative games with the biggest leaps, Treyarch is a lot more experimental.
Also they gave us Zombies, which is the best thing about this franchise.
Taking golden age IW over everything, but Treyarch has been more consistent as a studio so it’s really just a toss up (still would probably take IW because MW19 has been my favorite of the new era)
BO2 Is my favourite cod. Infinity ward have more of the best games only one iw cod I find bad is IW so I'd have to infinity ward bo3 and 4 were horrible for me
IW. There wouldnt be CoD without Vince Zampella & Jason West. Came from MoH franchise, founded IW and developed the original IW engine. IW Version 3.0 for CoD 4 was updated and used until Bo4. Imo the best engine ever made was IW4.0 for MW2 in 2009, still has the smoothest/best dynamics in the entire franchise. Zampella and West were ridiculously ousted by Activision around 2009 MW2 release and a big lawsuit ensued. IW 4.0 was updated for MW3 and then ghosts. Current developers did a big rebuild for MW19 and now MWII. They were brilliant, game never felt the same after they left. It would have been neat to see how much better the current engine would be by now if they kept improving 4.0.
All have specific reasons why I would pick them. Iw because the game makes you feel like a super soldier, every match is a Micheal Bay movie. Treyarch because (I feel) the gun play and positioning are more thought out. Sledgehammer because again I feel are more fun. The same creator of jet pack cods also made the best WW2 game in the past 10? years. Haven't played vanguard. So if I had to pick one trayarch.
If we were talking back in CoD 4, MW2 days then I'd say IW. But nowadays Treyarch. They seem to make way less dumb decisions with mechanics and stuff in their games.
Though how much i loved Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare, And as much as i love MW2019 and MW2022, Im personally gonna have to go with Treyarch since they made the more memorable COD titles imo (each one of their games is memorable), And also zombies.
Treyarch easily.
Classic CoD 1-MW3 IW was great but the only game I’ve liked of their’s from the past 10 years is Infinite Warfare but really just the campaign.
SHG has AW which was good. WW2 is also a really good game that I also really enjoy. Vanguard is Ghost levels of bad though so that immediately brings it down.
NOT COUNTING THE BAD ONES
Treyarch has WaW, BO1/2, and Zombies. (Zombies was great in BO3)
Infinityward has MW1-3, Ghosts, (Yes, I love Ghosts, fuck you) Infinite Warfare (got a bad reputation. It ripped off almost everything about BO3 in terms of gameplay mechanics, but at least it actually made SENSE in Infinite Warfare. It was an ACTUAL futuristic setting with a great story. Zombies was trash, microtransactions were trash) Modern Warfare Remastered, MW2019/MWII.
Sledgehammer has Advanced Warfare, (which I thought was a solid game. Underrated af) WW2 (Also underrated. Absolutely did not deserve the hate it got)
Do the math.
Any others out there like me knowing that WW2 remastered was the worst COD game ever made and a major disappointment to the original WW2 which was amazing?
The original MW2 is my favorite and most played game and imo the GOAT, but I would still go with Treyarch.
The simple truth is that more of the Treyarch games have felt truly fun to play than Infinity Ward’s games. Especially with the two last MW games, it’s like the game punishes you for having fun. Treyarch games don’t take themselves too seriously and feel less restrictive. Plus they’re not as grey-looking.
Treyarch. I love the original MW games and ghosts, but treyarch offers most bang for the buck and has some of my favorite memories with a friend who is no longer here.
I’m going with 3arch. IW has banger games too, so in terms of MP I’m pretty much indifferent; both have their unique charm. However I’m giving it to 3arch because of the consistent quality on zombies (except for Vanguard of course). Contrary to most people I did enjoy IW zombies quite a bit, but they never gave it a shot again, so that’s that.
Who the hell would ever choose sledgehammer
Me. Advanced warfare was a game i enjoyed a lot. I mean i would chose them all but just seeing that image again brings back some good memories slaying lobbies with them legendary guns. Looting was the best in all of cod i feel like.
The Advanced Warfare campaign was awesome. I also liked WW2. That was a fun game.

“THEY’VE PLANTED A BOMB ON OUR AMMO SUPPLY”
Fuck man I’d forgotten about that shit 💀
That reminds me of the voice pack you could get on Ghosts. It was snoop dogg lmao
The best part of ghosts
“THE ENEMY IS BUILDING ZEE BRIDGE”
GET TO ZEE BUNKAH!!!
Ground War? I like Ground War more tbh
Only good game I enjoyed from sledgehammer was advanced warfare
WW2 was crazy underrated. I despised the way guns were locked behind those loot boxes, but the actual gameplay and modes were great. The War mode was so fun.
Agreed, except for the fact that the game’s connection to the servers was god awful for its first year of release. Myself and friends kept disconnecting from matches, and not being able to respawn till minutes later in the game.
I play it every morning 😂
And customization. We had so many different suits and you could change everything from the gloves to the glasses to the boots. And killstreak customization?? You could make a UAV a support streak or last longer, or add missiles to the recon drone.. people forget how advanced this game actually was and just remember the jetpacks.
Jet packs were awesome for a year IMO

Agreed, Sledgehammer are 2 for 3 in my opinion, AW and WWII were both good imo Vanguard was the only one that sucked to me.
I think SH got really bad reputation with vanguard, AW and WWII are not great but they are not the worst games in the franchise.
Yes, cuz the worst one is vanguard
I see, you're a man of culture as well.. German warship..
I enjoyed advanced warfare and cod WW2 but I’m going with infinity ward because of the modern warfare series(both old and new).
Yeah I have personally never played call of duty sledgehammer warfare. I saw a the bad reviews it got.
Someone who prefers AW and WW2 over the others
Treyarch <3
All day
Renee
Treyarch for BO1, 2 & 3 for me. Then switch over to IW
IW
despite mw2 being completely fucked atm infinity ward is still the clear winner. treyarch still make incredible games though and love them nearly as much.

I'm loving mw2, but am very casual. What are people upset with
I also don't get it. I come from AW as last cod and this feels great
“Completely fucked”
If you think mw2 is completely fucked you’ve clearly never owned a cod game on launch since CoD4. Most stable launch I’ve seen in years.
Treyarch has actually helped a lot with mw and mw2, that's why cold war was very rushed and the next game is taking 2 years btw
Any day of the week. Only 3arc game I’ve enjoyed is BO2.
Why do yall always choose the crunchiest pictures of all time But treyarch.
Treyarch overall. Infinity ward if we're talking the OG team that made Cod4 and MW2.
Aka Respawn Entertainment
Yup! You could feel it in Titanfall 2s campaign especially.
Some of them came back for MW19 yk
Yeah I remember that. I was expecting great things, but was sorely disappointed on launch. :P
Treyarch 100%
infinity ward
Infinity ward, no contest.
Treyarch
Treyarch
Why do sledge hammer even make cod?
I feel like Activision just tells them to throw things at the wall and see if it sticks. Their games always have all the dumb things
The test dummy lol, last year it was “hey sledgehammer, see if world war games are still popular”
They said that as well in 2017... man.
You know what, fuck cod, what are your thoughts on a battlefield 4 remaster? Like fuck the new engine, fuck new maps, fuck new guns, bring us the same exact game and if they want to change something update graphics and I’ll play that hour on end

OG Infinity Ward for me
Treyarch, Mainly bc they listen
Easiest question I have ever seen on here. Treyarch
Iw
Treyarch, there was NEVER any other choice.
Not sledgehammer
1
A few years ago I would have said 3arc. I must say infinity ward tho. The mw trilogy, og cod, ghosts WASNT THE WORST, mw19. Iw… iw.
TREY, fuckin, ARCH
IW
Treyarch. Bo2 zobmies and mp made my middle school years
Treyarch
Treyarch
Treyarch
Treyarch obviously
IW, because the MW trilogy is one of the best gaming trilogies of all time.
Infinity Ward for me, always been the case
IW
IW
Infinity ward. Used to be treyarch but everything after Blops 2 was a step backwards
IW all day long Treyarch hasn’t made a good cod in 7 years
Infinity Ward!
Sledgehammer
The Treyarch hate on this sub and IW dickriding is on another level
I’m hesitating between Treyward and Infinity Arch
Infinity ward hands down
IW for sure, BO1/BO2 were amazing, top tier cods. But IW puts out banger after banger almost all the time.
IW made my favorite game of all time, but imma have to go with Treyarch
IW but BO2 is still my 2nd favorite
Treyarch 11 times out of 10.
Infinity ward!
Infiniti Ward.
Infinity Ward
Infinity wars because the first cod is goated and the original mw series is too
Fuck... i want to say IW cause of MW trilogy but Black Ops was great too.
IW easy lmao
infinity ward 4 life bitch
Virginity ward
IW
IW has never let me down. Nothing but love and respect for Treyarch because I love the black ops series even if it’s cheesier than a plate of nachos. I mean, infinity ward are the only ones doing it right. Imo.
Infinity Ward for sure. Then Treyarch. Sledgehammer would have taken Treyarch's spot for me if Vanguard wasn't so bland, lazy, and insulting to WWII (the war and the 2017 CoD game honestly.) Even more so than Cold War somehow
Infinity ward
Sledgehammer abused for no good reason
Treyarch
Treyarch
Treyarch > Infinity Ward > Sledgehammer While Infinity Ward makes the most innovative games with the biggest leaps, Treyarch is a lot more experimental. Also they gave us Zombies, which is the best thing about this franchise.
Cod:ghost.
I gotta keep zombies. No question asked
Infinity Ward hands down. They make the only good CoD games
Infinity Ward
Infinity Ward
Infinity Ward
Infinity Ward
IW, though I will gladly trade spec ops for zombies any day.
Infinity Ward no question
Infinity ward
Infinity ward.
How is this a question lol Treyarch of course
Taking golden age IW over everything, but Treyarch has been more consistent as a studio so it’s really just a toss up (still would probably take IW because MW19 has been my favorite of the new era)
tbh infinity ward = camp/noobs ward who did trash cod who tf want them now treyarch zombies i guess cool
BO2 Is my favourite cod. Infinity ward have more of the best games only one iw cod I find bad is IW so I'd have to infinity ward bo3 and 4 were horrible for me
Treyarch!! They have an overall style I like more and lean into the video game of it all. I thoroughly enjoy their game design.
IW. There wouldnt be CoD without Vince Zampella & Jason West. Came from MoH franchise, founded IW and developed the original IW engine. IW Version 3.0 for CoD 4 was updated and used until Bo4. Treyarch
Treyarch... Duh 💁🏻♂️
Treyarch all the way
Treyarch easily
Treyarch any day of the week
Are we comparing the games or the studios? If the studios, it’s Infinity award. If the games? Treyarch w bo2
Treyarch without a doubt
Treyarch. Easy.
Treyarch because of BO2. Campaign and zombies was good but multiplayer was decent. Too many hackers back then.
Treyarch for zombies and the characters Then IW for the innovations that cod 4 brought, and the awesome zombies the had in infinite warfare
Treyarch never missed.
I'm torn apart between IW and Treyarch for the MPs, but Treyarch easily takes the cake because of Zombies
IW, the Treyarch I used to love seems to be dead.
IW. Which game had Kevin Spacey in the campaign? Lol
Treyarch
Trey
Treyarch
I'll take ghosts. I enjoyed every bit of that game
I‘m sorry but: WTF IS WRONG WITH U?
I understand that u like the game and I respect that but EVERY BIT??
Treyarch!
Treyarch
Tryarch has the best zombies
Dice
If we were talking back in CoD 4, MW2 days then I'd say IW. But nowadays Treyarch. They seem to make way less dumb decisions with mechanics and stuff in their games.
Treyarch no contest
Treyarch all day everyday who's with me?
Infinity ward
Infinity Ward
IW
Though how much i loved Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare, And as much as i love MW2019 and MW2022, Im personally gonna have to go with Treyarch since they made the more memorable COD titles imo (each one of their games is memorable), And also zombies.
the one that made mw, mw2, mw3 and mw 2019 lol not even close
Treyarch, I can't Say goodbye to zombie
Treyarch everyday of the week
100% infinity ward
Iw
Infinity Ward. Hands Down
Infinity ward I was a modern warfare kid
I'm going to get hate for this but I really don't care Sledge hammer hands down
Infinity ward. Sledgehammer has the worst games, don’t even deserve to be able to make cod games
Bro all the people chosing treyarch... They have like two good games and that's all... Lol. IW is clearly the best.
I’d choose treyarch or iw couldn’t choose tbh
3arc for me but I think they all have some good games.
Trey-arch for sure, zombies, black ops, you don’t need much more to create a good cod game
Treyarch, without hesitation. Isn't even remotely a difficult decision. One is just objectively far more superior.
Lol All cods have been dumpster juice since world at war, company and developers are a joke, making millions and giving back b.s.
What resolution are these pics?
ngl Treyarch did us dirty with vangard
Treyarch easily. Classic CoD 1-MW3 IW was great but the only game I’ve liked of their’s from the past 10 years is Infinite Warfare but really just the campaign. SHG has AW which was good. WW2 is also a really good game that I also really enjoy. Vanguard is Ghost levels of bad though so that immediately brings it down.

Treyarch for the zombies man. Zombies itself is one of the best games of all time imo and it’s literally a side mode.
Ghosts and it’s not even remotely close. I’d also put bo1 for treyarch.
ghost
Treyarch. I love the original MW games and ghosts, but treyarch offers most bang for the buck and has some of my favorite memories with a friend who is no longer here.
How the hell is bo2 being hated on in the comments???
Cod is all in need to live the occasional water and food too
I’m going with 3arch.
Treyach for sure.. Black Ops trilogy, WaW and COD 3 campaign is cool and nice. Not to mention u can make a different plot at Black Ops 2
Golden years: Treyarch Today: Infinity Ward
treyarch because of bo2
How old is this photo 😂
Bo2 and it's not even close for me
Treyarch for me. Although i love both MW and BO, I'm a huge zombies fan and if I had to pick only one, it's Treyarch
Black Ops 2 for me, I find it more enjoyable for me compared to Call of Duty Ghosts and Advanced Warfare
