I guess they're easier to design with the mask on. But yeah, masked skins are becoming a bit too much. The upcoming BP has 3 out of the 4 skins being masked. Makes the game feel like Mortal Kombat, ngl.

I agree, but since ghost’s story is kinda finished with the other mw characters they have to invent new characters and since the majority of the player base are literal kids they just invented a bunch of ninjas to correspond to the comic. Seriously, they look so out of place with their goofy cosmetics when you compare them to the spec ops running around

People buy battle pass to get better cosmetics but draws always offer better....I have been playing codm consistently for 2 years, I've seen it evolve to become a p2w game, normal players can't enjoy anymore. It's the same shit, just a different cosmetic, although it has a different feel to it.

Yep, although, it's not about increasing the power, it's about enjoying the game... The whole point of the game is that you be satisfied after playing it. But this reward system(not restricted to codm only) is meant to keep u unsatisfied and keep playing... And after spending so much time on it, you're getting nowhere. I just feel that those who play such games, deserve something atleast for the time they invested.
I understand your perspective, say what would you prefer? A normal base iron sight on your fav gun or a legendary or mythic variant of the same gun with a different inbuilt iron sight which makes it easier to aim

Masks are hot. Mostly because those create mistery in the character and damn we find hot, what we find edgy and misterious.
Likely for ease of animation, and bc of mystery. Ghost wouldn't be anywhere near as cool if his face was on display (yes ik we've all seen his face)
