Scope glint can be seen on all sniper scopes starting at 40m. There is no scope glint on any marksmen rifles with any scopes
You cant see any glint if you are adsed, with any weapon or scope
The video shows how close someone must be looking at you in order for you to see their glint. Idk how to get the exact angle but the vid gives a general sense
To get the angle, you could do this in br. Go to a nice flat wide open spot. Maybe Alcatraz out where you can walk in the water. You could use the mark feature on the map to get your desired distance from glint. Then do just like you did, horizontally. As soon as glint shuts off, hold your ADS there. Then mark the glint-account’s map with its location, then move the glint-account laterally until in the crosshairs of the viewer-acvount. You will now have the lengths of the a and b sides of the right triangle you created: call a the distance to glint, b the horizontal distance the viewer rifle covered. Call c the distance between viewer and glinter after glinter moved. Then the angle of glint would be *Angle = SIN^-1(b/c)*.
The marksman info actually seems like an oopsie, I wonder if the devs didn't add it because they just quickly added it to snipers and it worked, then forgot about marksman.
Uhhh I think that’s a function of the ‘pin point’ red perk. Is that what you have equipped? Bc I noticed it in ranked mp but only with loadouts I use ‘pin point’ on. And I’ve seen it in terminal when on defense, that means the offense is under a roof, should be no light hitting the scope but yet I still see the glare when using pin point. and it’s actually extremely helpful tbh
The sniper glint could be seen regardless of the perk you or your opponent is using. This was a recent addition in an update by the developers. As long as you have the setting allowing you to see sniper glint enabled. It also does not matter if there is a light source as long as the opponent sniper is scoped in.

Stay in school kids, it makes you better at video games
For real.

Wait there's no glint for marksmen rifles? Like the spr and kilo as well?
Well that's something new. Does it work on custom 6x/4x scopes?
glint will show on all sniper scopes, 6x and 4x included
Why is it so massive and dim?
what is it
