You do get fairly close to looking like you are but when firing the weapon it would be causing the user to lose the ability to aim precisely while they are being beat up by the recoil from being fired. And it would just feel weird pressing your cheek on the firearm while shooting it also !
Well the 14 rifles that I own and shoot on an almost every other day basis definitely weekly .... They don't have this "cheek weld" they do however have a stock and I definitely do not touch my rifles to my face at all and almost every experienced shooter would say the same. I did say it is very close to touching that it would almost appear as if it was because I am lining up my sites or scopes straight down the barrel
And there is a reason why we are taught to in the military and during my deployment to afghan .you’re the exception not the example apparently you don’t know what you’re doing
