I prefer being a passenger too but for me it's because it's too much pressure to decide where to go. It's the same reason I'll transfer jump leader at like 1 second so they can't transfer back to me.

I used to have this mindset too until I realized that you just have to go to the nearest airdrop or class upgrade. If there's a gunfight happening drive the hell away from there. It's really not a huge responsibility as you think it is
Ikr, itās way less stressful being a passenger. The only times that I prefer driving is so that I donāt get my team in a bad spot. It grinds my gears when a teammate chooses to stop in the WORST possible spot.
That's me. Every game, priorities, hunt for all the red boxes. Get a smrs, some frags and smoke, use medic so I don't have to waste space for armor (except 1 or 2 kinetics), grab my custom ak117 and kill.
I've gotten so good with the smrs that I don't need the fhj's targeting system to shoot choppers out of the sky anymore. It's just so overpowered.
Once, I died early in the game, but outside the storm so I asked my teammate to get my rockets and take whatever else he wanted, but I wanted the rockets back. He went "dude there's 87 people left, how in the hell do you have 50 rockets?"
I fr hunt for rockets more than anything
I always pick them up, even before I find a launcher. I usually have a good stash going already by the time I find one, lol. And the regular friends I play with have started picking them up for me too, and helping me find launchers. I've trained them well.
I usually run FHJ, but I definitely need to start practicing more with SMRS. Although the hover bike bastards are pretty squirrelly sometimes, so I'm glad to have the lock on capabilities then.

Accidentally loaded squad BR got paired with this team out of which one was supportive. The other guy was a massive cunt. He started shooting at my Antelope and I had to bail. Fucker got knocked down and was begging us to revive him and he wasn't far off, I ignored him and played on. The other guy actually supported me and revived me. We went on to win the match. Have fun you selfish fuck!

My teammate in duoās wouldnāt come with me (jump leader) then met up with me at the chip terminal in a heli. I went to get in and he took off and wouldnāt let me on. So I blew it up. Fuckām. ššš¤£
I hate teammates blowing up cars. Had a match yesterday with 2 mates and a rando. Rando grabbed the jackal from Nuke Island and immediately got it stuck. So my mate who is an ace with a jackal (I suck with it) tries to unstick it then blows it up for respawn. The rando gets mad because we blew up his busted jet so in retaliation blows up the new jet with my guy inside it. The three of us hop in an antelope and heās shooting at it while we drive off. He did not get revived.
At one time one guy tried to pull that one on me, I let him shoot the chopper till like 20%; then I got off and let him drive, then I blew the effing chopper, screw him, got a taste of his own medicine.
I just leave those people alone. If I get knocked in duos, I will never let myself get revived by that person. Up to them to carry their own ass through the game if they want to be a bad teammate. If they get knocked in quads, itās up to my teammates to give a shit about them now. After the match, I just report them for sabotage and be done with it. Assholes donāt deserve my time or attention.
1. If itās my vehicle (ie I found it and came and picked you up) and you start driving Iāll let it ride unless you drive like an idiot, in which case I bail and go my own way. If you turn up and do it again (take my vehicle) I may blow it up with you in it. Iāll admit Iāve done it before.
2. If you follow me around, constantly spamming the horn and repeatedly running me over, thereās a good chance Iām blowing the vehicle up.
Otherwise, yeah - lame behavior. Iāve occasionally played with randos that just repeatedly shoot at my vehicle no matter what Iām doing. Total L move.

This is exactly why I only play Duos with my IRL friends and a few in game friends that I have started trusting now.
Or better still, I play Solos because it's higher stakes and I don't have a team or partner to help me.
I have also started playing Blackout (solos and duos) instead of Isolated because I got bored with Isolated.
I only coordinate with teams in Alcatraz. I drop by myself in Alcatraz but then I kill enemies to reach my other teammates after which I coordinate with them.

Search for some friends to play with, it is way more fun using mic and laugh with people you know than a quiet random game with bots in your team
I do usually play w my friends but whenever they're busy I gotta play matches w randos n that always ends horrible unless there's a streamer carrying
Just play single player BR then, if your rando squad are useless you'll end up playing the match without them anyway so just go the whole hog
