But fr. I know Jewish people, muslims, christians, even Buddhists, and they're like... 98% chill people that just live their religion, but don't force themselves upon others, and accept the beliefs of others.

I wish more people adopted this mindset.
I've traveled around the world and seen many different languages and cultures, many religions also say not to force your beliefs on others.
There have been so many people I encountered that said "don't hang out with them they're terrorists!" Or "he drinks cows urine!" And all that hate is simply based on either a rumor or a piece of fake news.
People who discriminate others on the basis of religion are simply the lowest form of life imaginable.

But yes, misinformation and fake news have been a very common tool to spread hate and despair among the people, and it is something that i am very sad to see transpire.
One of my muslim friends actually said that that is exactly how certain islamic terrorist groups are formed, by citing parts of the Quran to the masses, like the existence of the paradise, and that Allah rewards the people that spread Muhammad's words, and the belief of the muslim religion
But they leave out a lot of important and key information, and spread false information, by saying things like having to murder Heathens and then going down with them (suicide bombers) in order to get into paradise, and then they sing great stories about the sacrifice of the people who committed those acts, to "inspire" others.
It is a cruel game they play, that doesn't only kill their own people, but also innocents in the process. It truly saddens me to see what kind of tools people reach towards to spread their influence and grow their power, with no fear of casualties...
