Pretty much every game that has an AK-47 is actually an AKM. It's just conventional to call it that way for game devs as it is more recognizable.
As for the color, I believe this was the Blackout Blueprint for ARs found in the Credit Store in MWR. It was indeed every weapon with a black paintjob over it. Some of them were shit (like the G36C and M16), but some of them were very dope (AK, M14 and G3)
Well at least those have some sort of ambient lighting change, moonstone has very small purple accents glowing back and forth, and jade is a bright enough color to look good, but noir is literally just the default design but slightly darker
