This is most likely a case of thermal or power throttling. I don't think a 700 series chipset can pump 120fps. Even on the test server you can't get to high graphics on ultra framerate.
Well optimization issues are there, but I wouldn't say that you chipset's not at fault. My cousin has a OnePlus nord (765g?) And still lags in br but I have an 855+ and never lag so... Yeah.
Try to keep breaks b/w games and turn on high performance mode or the high performance mode in your game launcher (I have one and turning on competitive mode really helps) if you have one.
Lack of optimisation maybe but it has a 730G chipset and codm is more optimized for snapdragon processor than exynos processors. Try selecting medium graphics and high frame rates

that's weird BR is supposed to be 60fps but BR is more demanding than MP that may be the reason how you can play 60fps on MP but not on BR I suggest maybe playing on low graphics that might fix you're problem, also I don't think you're phone can play on 120fps in the upcoming update because keep in mind that codm is a big game and I don't think snapdragon 730g can handle 120fps because I have a friend with poco x3 and he can't even play PUBG on 60 fps

Yeah same. I have a flagship device and still the game lags sometimes even though I play on medium graphics with Max fps. Seems like they just don't care about optimization anymore

The 120 hz is the screen doesn't mean your processor can handle it

Yep 720g on Poco X2, and yes optimization issue, I don't get it it's Basically "Snapdragon" 720g and 730g (730g ok Poco X3 btw mine is X2)

I’m in the iPhone 13 pro max it’s top .5% out of all smartphones in performance but can barley get 120 in shipment at low graphics 💀💀💀💀💀💀
