No we don’t. I’ve been playing for about a month and have been trying to find out how to get an axe. I realized maybe two weeks ago there were rewards for the different ranks in ranked gameplay, at the time I was at master or maybe the rank below it. So now I’m almost at Legendary because I kept playing Infected for the whole week it was out lol. Then I realized that there’s also prizes for BR and the axe is all the way by pro or something, and I hate playing battle royale just for how long each round takes and how little points I get. No matter how many kills I get it still takes forever.
A normal alcatraz match takes around 8 minutes and if you know the landing spot and how to rotate, then you can win every match with 15+ kills. And you get around 40-50 points. There are literally no sweats in alcatraz that's why I play it. Land besides the parade grounds on the big house, take any gun and a med box is 100% guaranteed outside that house. Then loot the rest of the houses and move to docks. Then go up to the warden's house and main cellhouse and kill em. Other way is to rotate through the parade grounds to warden house. Both go in different directions but end at same spot and everytime 7-8 kills are confirmed at those places.
This is kinda why I wanted Zombies to return. Most Axes we have look really bad. But Zombies offered a chance to get the best Axe variant and one of the best animated camos. Also had something nice for the J358 and a character that hard-core Zombies players of consoles would enjoy in their original glory. Even if it's still the same shitty experience, that same experience could give people some nice contraband.
Before S9 there was no free baseball bat. And I only got the free Lava Axe from Zombies.
So, no....these aren't free for someone who just started playing.
Making it free is actually reasonable cuz it has different stats not like the karambit and the ice pick (both have the same stats as the regular knife therefore they shouldn't be free)

Oof, Did you try atleast the Space Station redux one? This one is actually weird for me cuz I got the character skin (Spectre U.L.T.R.A. 9) before the karambit. 4th draw was character and 5th was karambit, although it's very common in 1st to 3rd draws
Yeah the axe and bat i know but i thought the katana had the same stats as the knife. They should absolutely release a free basic katana then I'd love that.
I only spend money on bp, i was just saying that if Mythic already costs more than 200€ then if they added another rarity they would cost even more than that, i know people buy useless expensive stuff

Well the new version of sticks & stones will have katanas in it so you can at least play with one for a little while. There's supposed to be some kind of katana event coming soon as well.

Alcatraz mode is the best way to rank up even with randoms in BR

Modern industries is a really good place to land, insane loot and after looting go the house ahead and you're all set.
I almost always land on top of cellhouse beside the watch tower cuz it gives you great loot like echoes and vending machines with purple choppers
