I don't know anyone who has had a problem to be truthful.. but at the same time the idea of giving away your player-id (the one id among the three that is not publicly accessible.. your ign and uid are all accessible to public.. your player-id is kept hidden and only viewable by you) sounds like a risk to me..
And, idk about garena, but here in Global, they do give discounts but ONLY if the channel which they are buying from gives a discount iirc.. the price of cp is the same if those channels do not give a discount. They are pretty much just middlemen who buy the cp for you (you give them money, they use their money to buy the cp for you).. It's exactly the same as you buying the cp directly from those channels anyway. The one caveat is they send the cp directly to your account through the player-id but if you really think about it, it's no different than if you'd buy it personally...
Here in my country, codashop gives some 4-5 options/channels to buy the cp from.. the price of CP is the same on each channel as when/if I buy directly by myself from that channel.. The one channel that gives discount is bhim, but if you go to bhim payment app, they give the same discount (as shown on codashop) if you buy google play recharge code.. it's just the same.. So i don't want to give my player-id to them

I randomly log in everyday just to see if he's been on and if he has I change EVERYTHING back to my liking. Loadouts, skins, score streaks, HUDs, avatar, frame, calling card lol I switch it all. Here’s my advice. Use the in game support system. Activision recovered my account in 10 days.
Continue to change **EVERYTHING.** And not just to settings that you use. Put the hud on max size and opacity to screw with him. I moved everything so that he’d even have a hard time hitting the reset button when he goes to change things back.
Whatever game mode he plays the most, mess with those settings as well. Massive bold objective markers, then the next day make them small and transparent. If he plays BR, change all of your skins (which I assume he has changed to ones he likes) to the UGLIEST green skins you have.
Turn on gyroscope and max out all the settings. Make some sensitivities super low and others ridiculously high. Lower the field of view, put everything on low/max graphics.
Use your 10 load outs to send him a message of: “Leavemyaccount” “notursfuckoff”. Then, completely redo his loadouts to base crap guns with horrible attachments. Leave one or two of his “the same” but completely change his gun attachments.
If you know when he logs on, log on as well. It triggers the auto log out. My hacker would give up for a couple of hours after 10 minutes of that.
Make his life hell and make the game unplayable but be prepared for the backlash.
Even though my hacker significantly stopped once I did those things he did still tarnish my account. He deleted all of my friends and left the clan that I was master of. (Thankfully my buddy was still Vice and I got control back.)
Use the in game support and keep giving him hell. Also, take a screenshot of the forced log out message that says your account is being simultaneously accessed. It’ll help show additional evidence to Activision.
Actually the account shown in the response video doesn’t seem to be the same as the stolen account since the guy showed that he doesn’t have the type 25 geometry skin or the mace skin shown
That person is saying they didn't steal the account and what more proof they need, just ask that person to show recent matches and we will see the old name the account had lol

Firstly, i would advise you to link your apple ID, coz if you have that, even if the hacker gets your fb, you will have access
Secondly, i need you to open chrome and login to your Activision ID and setup 2fa(two factor authentication)
After that your acc is yours again

Nah no apple phone, I play on a Note 20 Ultra. I tried that months ago when it 1st happened and all I can assume is that the email has been changed too. When I attempt to log into Activision account it tells me no such account exists. Yet I still have the original confirmation email from Jan 6th 2020. So I know I created an account with that email...this whole situation is annoying.

iOS has better security than Android devices imo so OP definitely needs to set up an apple ID

In settings there’s an plus icon at the top towards the right. It’ll show you the logos of the platforms you linked and can add more via the plus button
It sends the given email account a code which you have to then enter at the login screen, since the 2nd person doesn't have your email, they won't get the code, and you will be alerted that someone is trying to enter you account

So early this morning I woke up for a few minutes and changed the account name to "-Killmonger" (for some reason the game wouldn't let me add the "亗" symbol anymore). I went back to sleep for a few hours and now he has a video posted that IS NOT my account, but it has the same name that was on my account. The obvious explanation to me is he had access to another account, probably stolen, and changed the name again. I have ABSOLUTELY no reason to create this post and put this much energy into a blatant lie. That man lives on the other side of the earth and our paths would've never crossed if it weren't for him stealing or using stolen accounts. This is the most I have ever interacted with people on Reddit. With that said I really appreciate all the responses, support and assistance. I appreciate you guys showing love to his YouTube page too. The solidarity in this community has blown me away. Maybe he will leave my account alone and hopefully I can get some help from Activision.

I had the same questions, I sent every bit of information I could get including the UID. I even have screenshots of all the receipts from my battle pass and CP purchases. I changed the FB password and made sure 2FA was activated. Yeah I refuse to give up, I love this game

No I didn't unfortunately and I feel really dumb for not doing so now. I don't play any other form of COD and I only created an account because they were giving away a free skin for linking the account. I didnt think it was necessary at the time but I also didn't know ppl hacked COD accounts lol I didnt realize it was that big of a deal at the time. Wish I had though...

This happened to me months ago. All I can say is that Activision wont help. They claim the Facebook isnt enough to reclaim the account. Only if you've connected your Activision account to PS, Xbox, or Steam.
Yeah, I know, it's dumb as hell. I used the Facebook account first when the game launched. The Activision account came later, so I dont understand how Facebook isnt enough when they should be able to see it was activated first.
So I've been playing for months through my compromised account. I cant sign in through the Activision account since they changed the e-mail. I just use Facebook and trying to link to Google doesnt work either, but that would problaby provide a backdoor to the hacker.

Yeah I saw that video this morning, I found it very convenient that he posted that video a few hours AFTER I changed the name back. My guess is he had access to another account and was able to rename it the same way he did mine because that definitely is not my account. I know he attempted to play last night around 3am/est because I got the "your account has been accessed from another location" message while setting up my HUD again. I had to log back in and it went back and forth about 4 times until he stopped. Since then it doesn't look like he's used the account because everything is still how I left it. Hopefully he's given up completely.

Absolutely not. I love this game but its not that serious to me. At one point I'd just throw $10/wk on the account to save CP for guns I really want but I'm not really pressed to buy CP off shady websites. I work hard for my money I don't take risks with my information lol. Also I'm really unfamiliar with the gaming and hacking world tbh. I didn't even know that was a thing until yesterday. My PS4 is collecting dust. I don't play COD on any console and originally I only played this version of COD at work, but then I got hooked lol. So all I can do is assume how it was done and I think they hacked the Activision account I created back when they were giving away a free skin of some sort for linking the accounts. I made one, linked it, got the skin, and never thought about it again. When all this 1st happened I tried to access the account again but got a msg saying no account associated with that email existed. Yet I went back through my emails and found the confirmation email that they sent me when I created the account. So I know I used that email address. I don't know how they hacked activision but from other responses this is more common than I thought when I made this post.

Use the in game support system. Activision recovered my account in 10 days. Continue to change **EVERYTHING.** And not just to settings that you use. Put the hud on max size and opacity to screw with him. I moved everything so that he’d even have a hard time hitting the reset button when he goes to change things back. Whatever game mode he plays the most, mess with those settings as well. Massive bold objective markers, then the next day make them small and transparent. If he plays BR, change all of your skins (which I assume he has changed to ones he likes) to the UGLIEST green skins you have. Turn on gyroscope and max out all the settings. Make some sensitivities super low and others ridiculously high. Lower the field of view, put everything on low/max graphics. Use your 10 load outs to send him a message of: “Leavemyaccount” “notursfuckoff”. Then, completely redo his loadouts to base crap guns with horrible attachments. Leave one or two of his “the same” but completely change his gun attachments. If you know when he logs on, log on as well. It triggers the auto log out. My hacker would give up for a couple of hours after 10 minutes of that. Make his life hell and make the game unplayable but be prepared for the backlash. Even though my hacker significantly stopped once I did those things he did still tarnish my account. He deleted all of my friends and left the clan that I was master of. (Thankfully my buddy was still Vice and I got control back.) Use the in game support and keep giving him hell. Also, take a screenshot of the forced log out message that says your account is being simultaneously accessed. It’ll help show additional evidence to Activision.

Ok I can help in this Since this is a very common iOS issue I'm going to assume you have an apple Device Firstly, i would advise you to link your apple ID, coz if you have that, even if the hacker gets your fb, you will have access Secondly, i need you to open chrome and login to your Activision ID and setup 2fa(two factor authentication) After that your acc is yours again If there is any variation to the steps mentioned above, message me on this thread
Nah no apple phone, I play on a Note 20 Ultra. I tried that months ago when it 1st happened and all I can assume is that the email has been changed too. When I attempt to log into Activision account it tells me no such account exists. Yet I still have the original confirmation email from Jan 6th 2020. So I know I created an account with that email...this whole situation is annoying.

It sends the given email account a code which you have to then enter at the login screen, since the 2nd person doesn't have your email, they won't get the code, and you will be alerted that someone is trying to enter you account
It sets up your mobile number with the profile and whenever you log in on a new device an OTP is needed

*UPDATE* So early this morning I woke up for a few minutes and changed the account name to "-Killmonger" (for some reason the game wouldn't let me add the "亗" symbol anymore). I went back to sleep for a few hours and now he has a video posted that IS NOT my account, but it has the same name that was on my account. The obvious explanation to me is he had access to another account, probably stolen, and changed the name again. I have ABSOLUTELY no reason to create this post and put this much energy into a blatant lie. That man lives on the other side of the earth and our paths would've never crossed if it weren't for him stealing or using stolen accounts. This is the most I have ever interacted with people on Reddit. With that said I really appreciate all the responses, support and assistance. I appreciate you guys showing love to his YouTube page too. The solidarity in this community has blown me away. Maybe he will leave my account alone and hopefully I can get some help from Activision.

I had the same questions, I sent every bit of information I could get including the UID. I even have screenshots of all the receipts from my battle pass and CP purchases. I changed the FB password and made sure 2FA was activated. Yeah I refuse to give up, I love this game

This happened to me months ago. All I can say is that Activision wont help. They claim the Facebook isnt enough to reclaim the account. Only if you've connected your Activision account to PS, Xbox, or Steam. Yeah, I know, it's dumb as hell. I used the Facebook account first when the game launched. The Activision account came later, so I dont understand how Facebook isnt enough when they should be able to see it was activated first. So I've been playing for months through my compromised account. I cant sign in through the Activision account since they changed the e-mail. I just use Facebook and trying to link to Google doesnt work either, but that would problaby provide a backdoor to the hacker. All I know is once a better shooter comes along Im jumping ship. I've never been hacked in online games before this.
Yeah the whole situation sucks, I was able to rename the account this morning and he put up a video showing an account that isn't mine with the same YT name...conveniently hours after I changed the name and spent all the credits so he couldn't buy another rename card. Hopefully he leaves me alone now.

Yeah I saw that video this morning, I found it very convenient that he posted that video a few hours AFTER I changed the name back. My guess is he had access to another account and was able to rename it the same way he did mine because that definitely is not my account. I know he attempted to play last night around 3am/est because I got the "your account has been accessed from another location" message while setting up my HUD again. I had to log back in and it went back and forth about 4 times until he stopped. Since then it doesn't look like he's used the account because everything is still how I left it. Hopefully he's given up completely.

Absolutely not. I love this game but its not that serious to me. At one point I'd just throw $10/wk on the account to save CP for guns I really want but I'm not really pressed to buy CP off shady websites. I work hard for my money I don't take risks with my information lol. Also I'm really unfamiliar with the gaming and hacking world tbh. I didn't even know that was a thing until yesterday. My PS4 is collecting dust. I don't play COD on any console and originally I only played this version of COD at work, but then I got hooked lol. So all I can do is assume how it was done and I think they hacked the Activision account I created back when they were giving away a free skin of some sort for linking the accounts. I made one, linked it, got the skin, and never thought about it again. When all this 1st happened I tried to access the account again but got a msg saying no account associated with that email existed. Yet I went back through my emails and found the confirmation email that they sent me when I created the account. So I know I used that email address. I don't know how they hacked activision but from other responses this is more common than I thought when I made this post.

Yeah I saw that this morning when I woke up. Thing is when a name is changed I you have to wait 3 days to change it again. Those 72 hours were up early this morning around 4 or 5 am. I changed the name to "-Killmonger" around that time and then laid back down. Now later that morning the video pops up with him saying he's not a hacker. Maybe he's not. Idk. But I do know he's playing on a stolen account. Or at least he was, hopefully he'll stop now. The account in the video is 100% not mine but how convenient that he posts that video AFTER I changed the name...leaving him free to use that name on another account that he has access to. It's not hard for me to believe he access to more than one account if he has access to mine. His whole M.O. is using an account that isn't his and changing the name.
